TLDR TAB A9 FOR GAMING DUE TO BETTER SOC AND ALUMINIUM BACK COVER FOR HEAT DISIPATION REDMI PAD SE FOR READING AND MOVIES DUE TO BETTER SCREEN QUALITY FROM THE IPS DISPLAY , and dont even think about achieving more than 60fps and benefit from the 90hz screen , only kids game like candy crush can do more than 60fps on this device .
As a samsung fan, im dissapointed by what they have done to the tab A9. They still cant come to understand that samsung users need a tab thats as small as the ipad mini with high end features. They keep on making this tab unabke to compete favorably with the ipad mini. As a samsung user i had to get me an ipad mini just to fill the void that samsung has unwillingly created. Give this tablet more firepower and ill ditch my ipad mini.
So I'm commenting on my samsung tab active 5. For me, I like samsung tab more ipad. 1st, 120hz vs ipad 90hz. 2nd, I'm able to use cellular and the dam ipad can't do it unless you change your mobile plans. 3rd, it's new and updated and cheaper than ipad mini 6 . I git this one for 500 128gb and cellular.
Probably that is why the samsung fold exist. The market share for small tablets is very small. There are even talks that the ipad mini might get discontinued
well A9 with a s6 lite goes well . A9 I use it for books news and netflix , the screen watchable is FD .. as for S6 lite beleive or not its UHD . about the split screen on the Pad SE, I figured out there is a setting called parallel window which is supposed to handle the splitscreen, but ig because it's different compared to other tablets that use Quickstep to handle splitscreen, no app currently supports this feature. I tried to force a split screen by using a "Split Screen" app and it just crashed the second app. It would take a while I feel before apps begin supporting it. But if you are a student on a budget (like me) it's not a bad tablet
Seems A9 is the better choice for me due to the split screen option and I think better software support for longevity. Plus this would be better if you have Samsung phone for seamless ecosystem. Thanks for the video!
Redmi is the better tablet. Much better battery life. Louder sound for multimedia. Better screen (almost no backlight bleed unlike tab A9). IPS Vs TFT. Comparable gaming performance. Camera flashlight. Split screen is not worth it.
@arizonaland742 I agree generally, but would depend subjectively on what you need it for. I use it mainly for work, so multiscreens is a must for me. I think the better chipset can handle it well, too.

If SAMSUNG are Dare to put 8 Gb RAM, 128 GB of ROM, keep the LTE connectivity and make 8000 mAH battery and also add DeX support on Galaxy Tab A9 LTE, it would be a hard to fight for other brands..
I have the A9 since beginning, the worst is very long charging time, 18Watt charging is min requirement for tablet, planning to get redmi pad 8.7 or alldocube 60 mini pro
@@ChikiKaboomkaboom instead of feeling just do your math . it takes 2 hours for a 15 watts charger to charge the tab A9 5000 mah battery , and 2 hours and 15 mins for a 18 watts charger to charge the redmi pad 6650 mah battery . if the tab a9 charging is slow for you , the redmi pad will have the same result. unless of course you didnt turn on fast charging in your samsung tab a9
I have the same tablet samsung tab a9 and redmi pad se 8.7 , for me tab a9 is a better choice because it has a split screen or multi tasking on any apps and Better software. Redmi pad se 8.7 does not have split screen or multitasking feature like a9 but it has a better screen display and battery life but not that good software like a9, so for final choice i choose tab a9 goods for online class because of multitasking feature if your looking for camera redmi pad se 8.7 is much better.
I'm a Samsung User but the sound and camera quality on the Redmi is SOO much better, although I do acknowledge that you wouldn't usually use a camera on a tab. I wonder what the screen quality difference is like...?
I downgraded from the Active5 to the A9 actually, because I just got a base Tab S9 (since Tab S10 won't have 11 inch size anymore). Because of the Active 5's weight and the S9 being close in size it didn't make sense anymore in my ecosystem. When I had my Tab S8+ the Active5 did make sense but now with the S9 not really.
Redmi won at everything except for the SOC and software. I wish they used the G99 so it can compete with the A9. Although G85 is optimized now but it's damn old.
I really doubted this before I watched the video, but you really are right. G85 is not enough for gaming these days, even the g99 is basically as low as you can go. The 90hz refresh om the redmi pad is a killer difference though. I wish they combined the best parts of these two to make an ultimate budget tablet This is from my tab a9 haha

Yes. MS Office apps will run on devices with 10.1 inches screen or lower. If your screen is higher than 10.1 inches it will still run but you will have to pay for an Office 365 subscription.

I have the Xiaomi pad 6 and i have Netflix in L1 winelan.. Go to the tablet settings app, then go for information on the tablet, then on information and detailed specifications, then click several times on the kernel version until you open a type of test page, where different things can be tested. Go all the way and click on Security Certificates Update. Click the button in the center and wait for it to tell you that it has updated correctly. After that you leave that page, clean the cache of the Netflix app and the others where it tells you that it is L3 and then restart the tablet. At this point, it should have updated from L3 to L1.

Samsung, the market isn't interested in inferior folding display tech - while the latest iPad Mini 7th gen brings things like perfect size, Fingerprint sensor, good Wi-Fi & SOC; it missed 120Hz and OLED, then of course complaints about the jelly scroll. The A9 size is right, but it's SAMSUNG - their low end A series phones that cost $100 have OLED; why doesn't this tablet. Give me an S9 or even S9 FE "mini" in an 8.X screen size. Personally, I use my S9 tab in landscape, for writing a lot in S-Note and media compsumption, nice OLED panel, 120hz, wish a 5G model came to the Divided States of America. I had a mini iPad 6th gen, and I sold it. still having that eReader void, I tried an Alldocube iPlay 50 Mini - which again, decent specs, but frustratingly missing things like fingerprint biometric, 120Hz, OLED, Wi-Fi 6, Software support. I ult got a S9 FE which spec and hardware wise is fine, its the SIZE smh - So, I ordered an A9 with LTE to see for myself how good or bad performance is and the display tech, if it meets my use case, I will get rid of the S9 FE due to the size complaint. Somewhere along the way consumers lost their collective buying power, because people keep buying inferior BS from these companies so they aren't motivated to do the very thing a business does, and thats to make money - they keep pushing these tired "upgrades" and overpriced bs like folding display tech that doesn't have the proper durability so it will and should NEVER be considered over regular durable hard glass. Imagine paying nearly 2 grand for a display that can be permanently damaged by a fingernail LMAO - not! Folding displays are GREAT in theory, not in practice. Ok rant over, I'm still brainstorming, I really don't want to support the Apple brand, but I really miss the size of a good portrait comfortable smaller tab to compliment my S9 tab; hoping this A9 isn't too bad, and I can make due, if not, I will be forced back to the iPad mini smh - expletive !!!!!
