- Students often find it difficult to identify which Nurse theorist gave the specific theory. This video is an attempt to help nursing students remember the specific theories by certain simple hacks. Thirteen theories along with the theorist are enlisted.

Thanks Jeevitha.... There are a lot of scope to work in nursing. Various specialisations are available to work with.... Including being a clinical research nurse. As per your interest you can pick up any specialisations ranging from a nurse anaesthetist till a geriatric nurse. I hope you are aware of the nurse practitioners course which have been initiated in India. If you are really interested in teaching, you may work as a nurse educator or a nurse academician in a College of Nursing (you may complete PhD or even Post - doctorate in nursing). So dream and aim high. There are a lot of wonderful opportunities available around us. I hope this reply helps!!!

Thank you Liji.... You can use certain theories that are specific to OBG like parenthood theories, infant bonding theories etc. You can also use any middle range theories if they are relevant to the context.... Example : you can use Roy's adaptation to a mother who has experienced abortion or a lady who had undergone hysterectomy or adaptation to twin children etc.. Similarly each theory if you understand the basic concepts and if you can relate to the context then you can apply it. Hope this response helps you
