Chris you are very skilled with the manual guide, could you show videos of you doing the programming as well? I always follow your videos and I'm from Brazil, I work with the same command as you on the cnc lathe and I rarely use the guide, I'm still a layman, A hug! 🇧🇷🇧🇷
Hi im Jason just a question, do you have alot of experience on forged parts because we recently do alot of stainless steel forged parts and have alot of interupted cuts to do, do you have any tips, like what kind of cutting tools are better for it ?
That surface finish never gets old on these big parts.

Im amazed how many times you need to turn the part and indicate it ..great work.
Nice bit of heavy tuning mate 👍 thanks for sharing 👍
これはSCM440の鍛造品ですか?
私も多くの車輪や歯車の加工を行いました。
その多くが製鉄所で使用されています。
いつ見ても確かな精度で加工されていて素晴らしいです。
Muy buen trabajo maestro 👍 magnífico
I would have torn that part up using a vertical lathe.
The metal removal rates on a vertical lathe are really something to see.
Great job, Chris.
Very good video Chris Maj
Vraiment tu fais du bon boulot
Our company also has such a CNC lathe pin process, but this process works in automatic mode, and we process the parts above the vane pump
Also, I wouldn’t mind if you posted the rpm’s for certain stages
I play around with the rpm as I go.
please show when you revert the job or in between processes. thanks

I hardly ever do any ss, so I can't really be any help to you. Sorry
@@ChrisMaj no problem man thanks for answering tho 👍
what tolerance range was on a part like this, I hate measuring large diameter bores with an inside mic if the tolerance is less than a .001 + or _
Within 0.002"
Bardzo fajna robota
I am big fan boro
Thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks for sharing, cheers
what is that black build-up that appears on the insert?
Just from the heat.
With a ring that big, why still use the smaller chuck?
Probably because he wanted to use the self centering capability of the 3 jaw chuck when clamping on the ID of the part.
I am satisfying your working
What is the total machining time for this job ?
About 3 hours.
Nice one . 👍
Good job...
very wonderful . thank you
I'm pretty sure a guy can order one of those from McMaster-Carr. LOL
They don't make them that big, it's a special order.
