My problem isn't the paragon. It's getting max aspects for my build. I literally get the same 5-7 aspects, low rolls and not part of my build every time!
Agreed, also for some reason i cant find Gloves with a decent GA on them, Gloves for some reason are really hard to find for me this season, even via obols i rarely get a glove with a Ga on them at all even with 2500 max obols to gamble with.
RNG + Scroll of Retempering (or whatever it’s called) is still sh1t. You can still brick an item because the scroll only allows each item to be retempered once! Blizzard: Oh you have a 1/3 chance to get your desired temper. RNG: hold my bear…
I am 100% convinced that the game is able to determine which tempers are good for you current build and weighs against them massively. Pretty much every time I temper something, the one I want just will not appear, but then on another char I want a different temper and the previous one starts showing up constantly. I understand the concept of RNG, but this happens way too often for it to just be that, like I've been keeping track of it this season. I can literally rely on this happening and have bricked multiple items until I started tempering stuff for one char on another and it's been smooth sailing since then.
I agree with this, it turns me off the game sometimes when i brick an item especially a good a one. Hell id be happy if this scroll of retempering gave you permanent retempers but was harder to find like as hard as finding mythic gear.
RNG was and will always be a thing in loot based games. Deal with it, or play other genres. The fact that they actually gave a 2nd chance for an item (not to mention 1 extra tempering chance for each GA on the item) is more than enough to feel satisfied and to have that rush of rage when u are close to brick it and the desired option wont pop. As an ARPG player since the times of Diablo 1, I think the system is to lenient as it is, but then again, D4 is a casual game. I suppose ppl here havent played D2 with its crafting system, or PoE (fuck that game because of its crafting RNG), or even the newer game Last Epoch. All these are great games but the crafting system, though great and complex is magnitudes higher in RNG than D4 is, BUT, the dopamine infusion u get when u craft a perfect item after hundreds or thousand of times cant be measured by any scale. This is what D4 is missing, this shit is to simple and to predictible...if I brick an item...oh well, some more hours of grinding or just buy one from trade and re-do it with 12-16 times (because of the scroll) 30% chance of succeeding, thats more chances than any other respectable game with an RNG based crafting system will ever offer u.
Cotton, the problem with your argument is that it's predicated upon the assumption that the design of the game should work around people exploiting the game. When you design a system in a game that you are afraid to implement changes to because of potential exploits, the problem isn't the exploits, but rather your design.
I quite like the new levelling system. What I don't like is the ridiculous rarity of useful upgrades. You can play in Torment for hours and not find a single ancestral. The drop rate for them needs to be hugely increased.
getting to 250 was a decent enough grind. i think the p300 exp curve should be adjusted to that. why cant we have and end state? i like being bale to put this down and go play other games too, it makes me enjoy my d4 time more rather than endless grinding.
They specifically do not want an end state. They have to acknowledge that it exists but their goal is to keep as many people playing for as much of the season as possible. This increases the amount of people who will see the little icon over the shop tab every time they open the map and therefore inevitably increase the amount of micro sales they get. There are of course players who will get fed up and quit, but these players are a loss they have already taken into consideration. They could lose 50%, maybe even 60%, of their total playerbase at this point and the game would still be profit.
I think you're better off learning to quit when you're no longer having fun rather than feeling like you need to hit 300. If it's not fun, then stop!!!
every level up players should get a boost of Life and mana. I don't care if it's just a point. This is still an RPG. When i go up a level i want to get a boost. So does everyone else
I have no problem with the paragon system even making it to 250 isn't that time consuming. The big problem is the new glyph system, there should never be a chance for a glyph to fail to increase once you hit pit level 65. Take away extra tries depending on the level of the pit versus the level of the pit that's fine, but there should never be a time I do a pit and get absolutely nothing for my time.
Fail lol try lvling a lvl 97 glyphs off a pit of t85-t90. it won't even let you level it up. But he'll I dont mind running lower lvl player thur pits to help them lvl up paragon and glyphs. I still get exp. But I also have 11 glyphs at lvl 100
It doesn't feel good to be forced to do the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over and over. I can't even start the game without thinking of it being a chore to play
then literally dont play? why are you on youtube watching a video about a game you play, while also bitching about a game you play? just go get a life and stop playing if you hate it that much? like its that simple. and dont say "thats not the point", yeah, it is, go pllay another game. theres plenty out there
I only got to around 240 before I lost interest / had nothing else to do. I'm not going to keep grinding just for more paragon when @ 240 I could do everything.
One huge let down to me has been the fact there is still the exact same 3 world bosses in the game since launch and an expansion. Legion events could always be spiced up abit more. Otherwise I have liked the Paragon changes myself.
I like that whatever activity I do, its all helping to get some XP and progressing. I hate running at full paragon level. Infinite would be also an option too.
I agree with everything at the exception of the dopamine when I see my xp bar filling up... I like the system, I play a lot, more than a lot of players, but after patangon 260 it feels extremely slow to lvl up, I would have like to see it a little faster because it's not enjoyable, it's more the opposite: " playing the game is useless, no lvl up and very little chances to upgrade my aspects"... But that was a good analysis on your video, thank you.
I didn't realize that level 200 was only 3% of the total exp needed needed to reach the cap, that is insane. Does make me feel better that I haven't reached 200 yet but doesn't feel good that it feels like I'll never get remotely close to 300. Not going to lie I don't like that. Feels like I'm back in Diablo 2 speedrunning minions of destruction for 5 hours just to get 1% exp needed to get from level 90 to 91. That is too much of a grind. I honestly do think that infinite paragon could be great. You can have a soft cap of 200 where that is expected casual players could reach, another soft cap of 300 for the less casual less hardcore player could reach, and then uncapped or whatever the max number of spots there is on 5 boards for the hardestcore player. I think that all the boards save the starting board have the same number, so it could be easily set to whatever that number is. If there are boards that have a different number it could easily be changed to be uniform. I do like the 5 board limit because it feels like you actually have to fill up a board rather than b-line through a board just to get the glyph slot with enough to activate it and just leave, feels like board choice matters.
Knowing that paragon 300 is basically unrealistic to achieve unless I played 12 hours a day, every day. No family, job, friends, kids, just D4. That just killed this game for me. Going forward, I will play 1 character, get 200 or so, then just call it quits. D4 just doesnt have enough depth or content to justify that commitment.
Not really. Blasting pits u can definitely get 1B exp per 3 hours. So 15B total is about 45 hours of solid pit grinding (efficient group pits). Yes this is a lot but not exactly 12 hour every day territory
@@mikeyb1239its still within the realm of "no life-ing" the game. A "casual" player would not get to lvl 99 in a season and the same would be the case with a casual not reaching paragon lvl 300 in d4. Then if you factor in gear, even in d2, you may never get an infinity from casually playing. Same with d4 with aspects. The difference though is the runes or items when you do get it is much much more game changing than d4 where d4 is just a generic multiplier or a higer number aspect.
Exactly my thoughts. I wanna try builds, experiment with them and if it needs a repetitive endless grind with an occasional gambling act, I leave it, regardless how much potential this game has. If Blizzard optimizes gameplay for autistic addicts, I'm out.
paragon 300 is not required at all. around 220 you have all the paragon points needed for any build. its just a chase for more dedicated players. its a good balance between D3 infinite paragon and D4 previous system that you get to level 100 and no more progress
I found easiest way was to use rare boost paragon glyphs to double rare paragons then upgrade glyphs that are specific to your build and readjust to suit those ones at level 46 to maximise their potential.
the strongholds give you a lot off exp to lvl up caracters, better than heltides, keep the strongholds to the end when you are at lvl 45,do then at that lvl and you get near lvl 60.
Did get 300 paragon in season, have to do manny 1000 pit runs arund 2min. Every extra new paragon you get you can feal the character get stronger like blizzard say you would. Took 245hours with new campain and seson quests. Got bored of seson last week, now im grinding on eternal. You have to realy like doing pit runs and do alott to get exp fast. Best way to lv up fast do pit runs under 2 min even if its lv65 not big difference in exp you get if you do 65 or 100, just do alott.
I'm a D2 player from way back in time. Back then I never got to lvl 100, so I understand paragon 300 was meant to be a chase and I actually like it more than last season. It makes me feel there's always room for improvement and there is no "end" in the leveling process (ie: the exp you get is always useful since you haven't reached max level yet). The highest level I got in D2 was lvl.96 if I remember correctly, and even though I'm much older now with a lot less time to play, I'm aiming to reach paragon 280 this season. The real problem is with leveling the glyphs: I think pit difficulty needs to be lowered, and ALL classes should be able to get to pit 100 fairly easily, not just SB. right now pit 100 is quite a struggle for the other classes, so it's hard to upgrade glyphs to 100. ☹️ I just barely made it to pit 65 with my sorc, bcuz I still don't have my needed mythics.
Can you make a video about XP WELLS, one i get one i far up but then when i go get another.... am not able get it again for a while. is it once a day thing? what is the cooldown. is there a way to decrease the cooldown, how do we get it again and again for big farm... thanks i hope to check out video
i dont want to play 500 hours every season just to be able to reach paragon 300, i also want to play other games. the amount of exp needed from paragon 250 onwards is ridiculous and we even have opals now. what happens next season if no opals are available?
My problem is I am level 250, I have my glyphs all 80, killed all the bosses and all I have left is the Pit and that grind sucks soooo only option is to do a different character, I wish there was something more to work for, maybe the skill/power jump between each torment should be bigger so you actually have to be strong to get to T4 or you wouldn't bother.
No it isn't. I feel the exact opposite there, should be some kind of sense of accomplishment. Besides you only really need to reach around 200 - 250 for any build to work
@@donovanhowell5773 XP will transfer over and add to Eternal realm at the end of every Season so you don't have to play Eternal, you will eventually get there playing Seasons.
I don’t get the philosophy of putting something into a game that is borderline unachievable. I thought torment 4 was only for increased gear drops, not better xp gains. They said you didn't need to interact with higher world tiers if you didn’t want to, but if you don’t - how are you supposed to level up your glyphs and paragon? If you say you don’t need to level everything up to enjoy the game, then why put it in the game in the first place. It’s obvious that creating a build which deletes everything is enjoyable, so why gate that to a set few that have the time to mindlessly grind xp. XP as an endgame goal/reward isn’t fun. I should be doing the fun stuff and the XP should be complementary to that, not the other way around. I'm not convinced that the best version of this game is farming for runes that seem to not exist, re-rolling affixes and trashing non-GA items. I like inventory management as much as the next person but this ain’t it.
I had decent gear in t1. Before hitting t4 I was completely decked out. Mythics dropped for me twice in t1. Overall I think a good season. I just don't wanna keep grinding. Like for what
i am personally going for 300 this season (but i wont do it again. even i dont hate myself enough to this every season 😆) currently i am 260, and i will get a level or two today. i just need to get only 2.5 billion xp a week for 8 weeks to reach 300. this leaves 3 weeks left in the season for wiggle room in case i fall behind a bit. 30 clears of pit tier 100 each day takes around 2 hours. this really isnt asking a lot. i dont have any issue if every player gets to 300. i dont have any issue if only a handful of players get to 300. i am doing it for fun (and the mount trophy lol!), so i dont mind the grind and i am not concerned with what everyone else does and what they have 😊
Well, not having an exploit or Spiritborn the P300 would be extremely difficult to reach. Imagine that it would be much more difficult to max out the glyphs and then running sub 90s Pit70 instead of 105 or 110 is a massive difference. But the balance was made around the state without broken class and exploits in mind-so I am really interested to see the next season
Glyph exp i trash when you get them to the 90's, you can clear 120+ and still get the 70% chance to upgrade which on the average fails at least twice per run.
They made it a trophy, so either it forces you to grind spirit born hard this season while OP. Or keep playing eternal after and skip next season. Thats the issue
Instead of making the rare nodes on paragon boards more interesting (e.g. a way to modify one's skills) they locked the max number of boards we can use in an attempt to force us to use the rare nodes as they are. As if I would select a "+15 Armor" node when I'm already at max armor. That's the way to entice people to play your game, Blizzard! Keep it up!
Once I got to paragon 160+ it felt like I hit a wall, it just felt like the grind really hit and the game slowed down, also anyone else noticed the season pass levels have been clipped too? I've done all the seasonal missions and I'm on level 73, seasons past this would be completed
Good video though you missed a big pain that was solved with the level change and that was gear, having to massively level your alt to use a piece of gear annoyed a lot of people and now you can boost an alt to 60 in under 10m then they can wear any gear you’ve got.
I have all good gear and am paragon 190 and bored. I have a life and don't wanna keep running the same loop. I def had fun this season tho. Just no motivation other than to hop on for a second and kill some stuff
Isn't that how most, if not all, ARPGs that have seasons work though? Would be kind of boring to start a brand new season with a character that's already fully powered up and ready to tackle the hardest content.
My problem is that there are transmog rewards and even a PS trophy for hitting paragon 300. How am I supposed to get these rewards if the goal is essentially unachievable for casual play??
No. Its not fine. You fight the glass ceiling of the crap loot drops so there you go for paragon for your power gain, and when you go for paragon for your power gain, its logical to hit the glyphs first. Except glyph level is roughly tied to Pit level able be cleared, so then once you hit THAT ceiling, then you go for raw paragon points to help you push further in the pits to get the power gain to make up for the crap loot and that aggravating masterworking.
The biggest problem for me is the pit being the only way to reach 300, doing the same thing over and over is boring as hell, if there were other ways to get the same amount of xp i would like to grind the 300
Because you might want to have a different playstyle available when you get bored? Atleast thats the reason for me. I got 2 alts with very different builds, which I enjoy switching to once Im sick of spamming the same skills for a day or two :)
@ that’s fair. However my point is the gear issue. It seems like ( at least for non spiritbourne classes) that gear is trash right now, and grinding an alts gear is un-fun. Just for me tho. I’m not knocking anything, it just seems like a bad decision on the gear front, and I hope they revisit that decision and make a better choice.
@@addamriley5452 I used Frozen Orb to level to 60, then I made Fireball for hordes and uber bosses, then I made my personal favorite Azurewrath chainlight for speed farm pits/world contnent. I also made LS/ball light but did not like it so much.
They need to do it like D3 and come up with an end game that is not boring. I played D3 would always reach over 1000 paragon and pushed GRs. The citadel is trash and the pit is boring. Getting to 300 should be quicker.
So many people that play this game want everything to be infinitely easy. 4GAs SHOULD be able to drop with a trash aspect roll. Max level SHOULD take a an extremely if not impossibly long time. Obtaining all mythics SHOULD be impossible. Things SHOULD be difficult to farm. The direction this game is headed is that we will log in day 1 of a season and within 6 hours we will be max level with every mythic.
Id like infinite XP. I like the forever grind. Hitting max level really reduces my enjoyment ingame, every season when i hit max level i slowly stopped playing. For me the season ends when i hit max level and have the Ubers i want. Anything after that is a chore.
IMHO the biggest problem is a lotta the streamers who do the ptr and provide feedback to the developers on bugs and things fail to mention xp bugs they find in the ptr and then when the game goes live they hit level cap in 2-3 days and make videos telling us to run pits(which is not how they capped ) in 2mins or less to hit level cap which takes us 2-3 weeks and then they tell tell the developers oh yeah u need to fix this xp bug after they abuse it which is ridiculous but happens every single season , when u are caught abusing a game mechanic ur paragon should be set to 0 taking everything u cheated to get as well as what u earned fairly. I never had a problem with the infinite xp other than what u stated it being abused when someone finds a bug .
I'm currently 290 playing Necromancer. It's true i am degeneratly playing the game but i dont think its even close to hard getting to 300 if you have the time to do so. Assuming there are 0 bugs, Infinite potential is only bad because they added a lot of stats to get with paragons. In Diablo 3 the infinite number of paragons don't matter as much cause at a certain point you can only get more and more damage and it scales slowly.
Thats the thing, casual players(dad/mom gamers want to be able to get to 300 with 2 weeks worth of play because a streamer they saw someone who plays alot already at 300 and they themselves are only at 200. There is always a group of people who want everything now! Not in a month. Without having to grind for it.
Nope, I'm getting tired of the grind and it just ticks me off. Aspects are so hard to get, and the only way to level is having a Spirit born. All of a sudden it just doesn't feel fun any more. I also play every class each season too figure things out. Near and of season, that's when I go to hard core. I just can't move on till I hit the set max
Paragon ain't even 1 of my issues. I know i'll never hit 300 paragon like I know I'll never get max level affixes. I've had more bricked gear this season than ever before... even using reroll items!!! Glyphs are annoying. 70% is more like 50% tops! I had 70% fail 4 times in a row. Greater affix gear feels way too rare. And what's the point of any other class after spiritborn?
A little over 200h and I'm paragon 300 now. Really disappointed for the mount you get. It's so maddening that only pits is almost the only way to go if you want to level up fast. The rewards at the end also not really worth it.
My problem is finding a reason to care about this game after getting the gear/mythics I need. Haven't touched this season in a couple weeks simply because after gear there is nothing exciting to keep grinding for they would rather charge 20-30 dollars for a cool skin then keep me playing the season i guess and no I'm not spender no money on passes or skins f that
Infinite grind is not addictive when the build is basically done at 250. The only rewards for hitting p300 is a trophy and ugly mount. Previous seasons felt good to cap out characters... it doesn't feel good knowing i still have paragon to level with a huge lack of content to get there. There's no dopamine to seeing the xp bar slowly go up and each new paragon point doesn't even get used because the power increase is laughable. I will, 100%, never have a level capped character again. Lame.
How about glyphs.. u need to be at pit 100 to have 70% successfully upgrade to lvl 90 glyphs.. I hope they buff the successful upgrade at pit 75..so we all get level 100glyphs with anyone's help
At first they were like: we never knew people liked to get to 100.. (just like they never made a game for players before) Now: let's lower the 100 (that people liked) to 60!! how amazing is that! And then, we'll give them 10 more skill points so they'll think it's an awesome deal!! - Welcome to PARAGON 300 where 284 is only half the XP required. And yet, we got one that is very friendly with some gold-sellers.. is 300.. hmm... legit.
Everyone needs to quit asking for easier everything. If you want it, work for it. If it doesn't matter to you, carry on. The game is far to easy already.... it needs to be harder and more challenging.
I quit for this season... not one max aspect and 1 paragon level for a night of t4 grinding is BS. I'm back to playing other games that don't feel like a minimum wage job.
Paragon was never infinite it's capped in Diablo three at 20,000 and no one has ever come close to hitting it. Even at paragon 3,500 I was still getting 1-3 per GR run. I think that's the biggest problem with D4 over the other ones it's still clunky for how it feels to play You do get some highs and lows in dopamine but it needs to be smoothed out so it feels good to play all the time not just some of the time. I don't know what the secret sauce is but they still haven't hit it.
u only need 220 paragon to get most legendary and glyph nodes. u can easily clear pit 100 with that and dont need further grind to enjoy the game. So don't be so fixated on paragons.
In my opinion the Paragon System would be better if the board limit was increased from 5 to 6 this way we would have more places to use are paragon points from level 250 to 300 instead of being forced to use those points on less impactful paragon nodes.
i could care less i just want to continue to enjoy the game thats it keep making new alts and just enjoy thats it i dont care about mythics bc if it wasnt meant for us to be powerful we could get mythics in the begining imo
The achievement that makes me pissed cause even if you do all, you'll still be at 99.9: 6,666,666 Effing Stupid Goblins.. The more I play and see, the more resentful I get against how Blizzard has turned.. so disappointed.. that I can't wait for other ARPGS to arrive and then they'll use their awesome rune easy systems and "KRY"
Paragon system now is amazing. It gives us a long grind but also with an end goal. The aspects being nerfed too, awesome. Ultimately its not different then having a tough to reach paragons count but it can reward you for game knowledge too. Using a non-ancestral because you rolled a perfect aspect and that equals more damage is cool. Most complaints this game gets are some form of “wah let me have everything always” i swear the internet has made people weak in the knees. Its embarassing. I expect theyll “fix” the aspect thing it isnt super intuitive and people are stupid. But if they make getting p300 way easier like they did hitting lvl 100 before the expansion ima be pissed
300 and 100 both feel atrocious in the same way. 0-215ish, not too bad, especially if you are consciously going to higher tiers of difficulty. 0-46 feels fine because by 60, you are ready to paragon stuff to some degree and are starting to get glyphs (I think they should start dropping everywhere at level 45-50, but I digest) and can start doing pits, which suck because they are unrewarding, but you are doing a thing and 0-46 isn’t too bad. 216-300 and 46-100 are just bone grindingly slow and tedious and uninteresting and, most importantly, unnecessary to life. Same with the whole soft cap on aspects. Why? Because I might max crap out and decide to take a break or start another class? Oh no! I might feel accomplished for a few seconds! Do you want to know what truly annoys me? I have my main dude that’s been sitting around in eternal realm. I started grinding out dungeons and side quests in order to do everything at least once. I thought I could do that and slowly knock out levels with XP and kill two birds with one stone. Nope. XP is intolerably slow, so slow I just stopped the stupid side quest for 100%ing everything because the XP system feels obnoxiously unrewarding. 1 paragon point is not making my life easier and having it take that long feels bad. That every class doesn’t have multiple kickass builds right now is unacceptable. That even running two potions, max xp bonus, an incense and playing in a party plus the xp bonus from Halloween all do not crank out the gains is unacceptable. The devs vision for this game’s end game is pathetic and they should reevaluate their life being this is ass. I want to make a point. I made the comment on Reddit that the system currently sucks. I elaborated, but that’s the gist. The response was, generally, that it’s an aspirational goal and that 225 with 5 46s on your boards with masterworked gear was all that an average player needed to do everything available. My response to that is simple. Why does it exist then? If 300 isn’t needed, why does it exist? If glyphs to 100 isn’t needed, why does it exist? I don’t want infinite paragon, 300 and 100s isn’t my goal in life. I don’t feel accomplished unnecessarily grinding a single activity solely to get to a number when there’s no tangible reason to do it. The reason people want exploits on this kind of thing is because the process/progression sucks donkey. They need to accept that Diablo 4 is a substandard ARPG and lean into it. Make it fun, accessible and a blast to screw around in.
I hate all the changes you talked about in this video. They're all trash and have ruined the season in my opinion.Players:"Blizzard we want glyph leveling to be faster" Blizzard:"Ok your glyphs now level to 100 and your upgrades can fail".All Blizzard had to do was just reduce the amount of exp required to level glyphs and they come up with this garbage?😂
Current system sucks. Can’t find max aspects, getting to 300 is ridiculous, people realize this and are leaving. If PoE had came out on time D4 would be completely dead
No, just dont...infinite Paragon was the shittiest and dumbest decision made for D3...and the power gap between blasters and the rest would be infinite higher, just as it was in D3, when some had 4k+ paragon, while the rest, by no means casual players, barely scraped 2.5k. The 300 paragon systems is fine, as long as ppl dont make a goal out of it, especially if u play less than 4 hours per DAY. Its a mistake they put an achievement and mount behind the 300 mark, since thats what players want most, I wouldnt give a shit to reach 300, but because there's a damn mount and a trophy, I kinda want to, even though its a slug fest and I will probably wont make it anyway (I am at 279 atm and I know the real grind will come after 285)
They aren't going to make the game for the casuals who only play for 2 weeks then go off playing something else, then moan they dont finish the season because they madr it too hard...tbh they aren't casuals, they are fickle players. I consider myself casual and I'm paragon 245 now, because I don't play anything else when i do have timebto play... I don't mind the grind so much, it's nice the season is actually lasting for those who actually play the game, but what I don't like, is still at this level, with glyphs over 70 on sorc, with dark shroud mythic and 4ga tal rash, 3ga winterglass, I still can't damage andariel. Didn't even bother trying duriel.. but my spirit born, glyphs 46 downs them in seconds....there is no end game content for anything other then spirit born
It give d2 nostalgia where you didn't have to reach 99 cause most builds stopped at 70-80 but back then 70-80 could do all content making multiple classes more viable during a season
I am curious who is planning the game flow, you have to be a knucklehead to repeat same crap renowns and quests Paragon xp raises sky high through the end of game , people don`t have time to grind 16 hours a day to reach 300 . I cant even imagine without a main spiritborn to grind 300 is possible, So many things needs to be fixed but they don`t listen
This system was never gonna be in play Then again they copy Diablo 3 and have us running for paragon which is fine, really isn’t designed to keep us playing more but separates dedicated players. Most builds to maximize your glyph range for and get max bonuses out of them is around 250 some are less The juice in builds is the glyphs 300 hundreds have more survivability for the most part. 300 is great they just need to lower the experience. Diablo 3 has infinite but they didn’t won’t that They have covered this already
NO NO NO! NO infinite paragon. Infinite paragon ruined D3. This is a terrible idea and has no place in D4. The limit on boards is exactly why you don't need anymore than 300. I'm at 202 and there is very little on the board that will improve my character.
My problem isn't the paragon. It's getting max aspects for my build. I literally get the same 5-7 aspects, low rolls and not part of my build every time!
This. I hate not having perfect aspects.
Agreed, also for some reason i cant find Gloves with a decent GA on them, Gloves for some reason are really hard to find for me this season, even via obols i rarely get a glove with a Ga on them at all even with 2500 max obols to gamble with.
Such a pain in the butt, yes. Perfect aspects are becoming more rare than mythics.
This whole season is garbage the changes r so unnecessary its crazy.
Same. This needs to be addressed
RNG + Scroll of Retempering (or whatever it’s called) is still sh1t. You can still brick an item because the scroll only allows each item to be retempered once!
Blizzard: Oh you have a 1/3 chance to get your desired temper.
RNG: hold my bear…
It’s better than it was.
That feel when you spend 50bil on an item and it bricks from the tempers.
Sorry it's a true progression system now.
It’s hard if life says go to 1st and 2nd job and take care of wife and kids.
Nah I reckon about 270 is where lvl 300 should be… this is rediculous
Fail lol try lvling a lvl 97 glyphs off a pit of t85-t90. it won't even let you level it up. But he'll I dont mind running lower lvl player thur pits to help them lvl up paragon and glyphs. I still get exp. But I also have 11 glyphs at lvl 100
@@Valverde713na this system is garbage... So many pointless unnecessary changes smh this season is garbage.
I just would like to be able to run things other than pits for good xp.
It doesn't feel good to be forced to do the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over and over. I can't even start the game without thinking of it being a chore to play
That's an arpg. That's how all of them are made. I don't think this is the right game for you.
Dish season model
then literally dont play? why are you on youtube watching a video about a game you play, while also bitching about a game you play? just go get a life and stop playing if you hate it that much? like its that simple. and dont say "thats not the point", yeah, it is, go pllay another game. theres plenty out there
no one is forcing you. dont play season
Yup last season was so good this season is garbage.
Being able to connect the nodes in 8 directions would be great.
6 boards instead of 5.
More uniform boards and less paragon empty space.
Mother's blessing, xp shrine, opal, potion, incense, and party bonus Pit 65-90 goal is under 1min 30. I'm 293 and gaining 1 lvl every 2hrs right now.
Yeh but its the same with d2 reaching lvl 99.
I'm still waiting for the lvl 300 crushing hands build video!!!!
How they made reaching level 300 a trophy/achievement is just evil!
No it isn't. I feel the exact opposite there, should be some kind of sense of accomplishment. Besides you only really need to reach around 200 - 250 for any build to work
I agree it means to get my platinum again, if I don’t grind this season I’m forced to play eternal realm.
Its the dumbest change I can't stand the 300 nonsense its so grindy and boring.
@@donovanhowell5773 XP will transfer over and add to Eternal realm at the end of every Season so you don't have to play Eternal, you will eventually get there playing Seasons.
No one is forced to do it.
Like for what
i am personally going for 300 this season (but i wont do it again. even i dont hate myself enough to this every season 😆)
currently i am 260, and i will get a level or two today.
i just need to get only 2.5 billion xp a week for 8 weeks to reach 300.
this leaves 3 weeks left in the season for wiggle room in case i fall behind a bit.
Keep it up!
Paragon boards need overhauling, so many trash stats to pad the grind that leave a good hundred levels feeling pointless.
def not 100...but yeah, i feel you.
So true my rogue got a lot of garbage on the boards
Paragon infinity was part of the destruction of D3, it made the game 90% paragon farming, nothing else mattered, it's good that it has a limit.
Disagree, gave something to keep grinding long term. Way better system as well as D3's difficulty system
The fact you gotta re do all this ish every season lol. so terrible.
Isn't that how most, if not all, ARPGs that have seasons work though? Would be kind of boring to start a brand new season with a character that's already fully powered up and ready to tackle the hardest content.
Dish seasons
You don't like it, play eternal all seasonal ARPGs work this way
I lose interest in running pit runs after 10 straight.
I’d agree except I got a harlequins on my first t4 boss kill. I hate that I’m going to lose that.
You can't please both core players and casuals, it's as simple as that.
The biggest problem for me is the pit being the only way to reach 300, doing the same thing over and over is boring as hell, if there were other ways to get the same amount of xp i would like to grind the 300
Paragon now is infinite boredom for some though. Especially with the junk season we got with the expansion.
sounds like you didnt buy the expansion lol.
Expansion is great, haven't played any season of d4 since the start for so long.
@@BufordBanjo hes right the season is awful not even a season a buff no spark with rep no real content seething drops nothing.
Why would I level an alt when I cannot get the gear I want for my main?
Because you might want to have a different playstyle available when you get bored? Atleast thats the reason for me. I got 2 alts with very different builds, which I enjoy switching to once Im sick of spamming the same skills for a day or two :)
@ that’s fair. However my point is the gear issue. It seems like ( at least for non spiritbourne classes) that gear is trash right now, and grinding an alts gear is un-fun.
Just for me tho. I’m not knocking anything, it just seems like a bad decision on the gear front, and I hope they revisit that decision and make a better choice.
I did it on sorc 100% yesterday. Took alot of work.
What build u running with sorc?
@@addamriley5452 I used Frozen Orb to level to 60, then I made Fireball for hordes and uber bosses, then I made my personal favorite Azurewrath chainlight for speed farm pits/world contnent. I also made LS/ball light but did not like it so much.
I just hope you can get that mount in eternal because I'm like 275 and it's a slog even with the xp buff... Not even at the halfway mark yet... lol
Im totally ok with a slow progression, so long as I feel powerful enough to tackle all content at level 200-220.
I like the 5 board cap. you guys were getting ridiculous with 8-9 paragon boards setup
i think the level 200 is intended as the max level, the extra 100 should be extra, so as not to be flat after maxing 200
Assuming there are 0 bugs,
Infinite potential is only bad because they added a lot of stats to get with paragons.
Im going to grind to 300, but i hate it. Its mostly to complete it once and ill probably never do it again unless they change some stuff
100 in a day was fine but not fully balanced for any actual grind this i would say is better for the game entirely since you get more paragon points
Sounds like SB needs a buff.
I'm pretty sure they'll add a Mythic item that unlocks an extra paragon board soon enough
I think grinding for paragon is fine, but the aspect collection should only be reset at expansions if at all.
I,m a console user and have work, and family can they permanent paragon? don't have a lot of time to play thoug...
I think if we only get 5 boards then you get enough paragon points to completely fill 5 boards.
Reaching Max level then getting Paragon to improve is exactly what they did in diablo 3; I'm not sure how this is a controversy.
I hope they buff the successful upgrade at pit 75..so we all get level 100glyphs with anyone's help
all i see is ppl complaining. farm the right content and trade items to find aspects not hard at all
im still having fun dont care what the devs mean or dont dont as long as its fun.
At first they were like: we never knew people liked to get to 100.. (just like they never made a game for players before)
Now: let's lower the 100 (that people liked) to 60!! how amazing is that! And then, we'll give them 10 more skill points so they'll think it's an awesome deal!!
- Welcome to PARAGON 300 where 284 is only half the XP required.
And yet, we got one that is very friendly with some gold-sellers.. is 300.. hmm... legit.
So I beat pit 150 at P250. I Still want to play for the mount 😂 ✌🏼
Endgame activities must get better. After leveling and completion of a build the game becomes a bit tedious and boring.
Everyone needs to stick at eternal realm!!
u only need 220 paragon to get most legendary and glyph nodes. u can easily clear pit 100 with that and dont need further grind to enjoy the game.
The more I play and see, the more resentful I get against how Blizzard has turned.. so disappointed.. that I can't wait for other ARPGS to arrive and then they'll use their awesome rune easy systems and "KRY"
the New system is fine im allready Paragon level 270 and there are 2 months left of the season im no means harcore, i play when i feeel like it...
"long term goal" lol why though when it goes?
They need to buff rogue rapid fire build need more better uniques
i think it took rob a total of 153 hrs to reach paragon 300
Meh... don't plan on 300... stopped paying at 262...im fine with that
Current system sucks.
Also after 250 you’re just chasing resistance tbh.
Where TF is everyone getting GA gear, my rng is dog shit 💩
The hell with infinite paragon points? Thats a d3 bs. Paragon cap is better. What sense for infinite??
It give d2 nostalgia where you didn't have to reach 99 cause most builds stopped at 70-80 but back then 70-80 could do all content making multiple classes more viable during a season
I am curious who is planning the game flow, you have to be a knucklehead to repeat same crap renowns and quests
Paragon xp raises sky high through the end of game , people don`t have time to grind 16 hours a day to reach 300 .
I cant even imagine without a main spiritborn to grind 300 is possible, So many things needs to be fixed but they don`t listen
This system was never gonna be in play
Then again they copy Diablo 3 and have us running for paragon which is fine, really isn’t designed to keep us playing more but separates dedicated players. Most builds to maximize your glyph range for and get max bonuses out of them is around 250 some are less
The juice in builds is the glyphs
300 hundreds have more survivability for the most part. 300 is great they just need to lower the experience. Diablo 3 has infinite but they didn’t won’t that
They have covered this already
NO NO NO! NO infinite paragon. Infinite paragon ruined D3. This is a terrible idea and has no place in D4. The limit on boards is exactly why you don't need anymore than 300. I'm at 202 and there is very little on the board that will improve my character.
They shouldn't have made it an achievement
Actually first 😮💨
