I've really enjoyed all your videos, I've been a shooter most of my life (Bows and World/Euro champ) but due to cancer I'm unable to handle the draw weight. I recently got the Aselkon MX5 which seems great quality. The most frustrating thing about PCP's for me has been getting all the accessories, I got the gun next day delivery but 3 weeks later still waiting on air tank and Scope, despite both these companies advertising as being in stock, I just hate it when people lie and time isn't something I have a lot of. I have 50 acres to shoot so I don't have to travel and will have a safe place to shoot, my Son also enjoys Air rifles and look forward to spending some quality shooting time with him. In the mean time I'll keep watching yo guys with envy.

Hello Matt, I've been watching your videos for a while now. I enjoy every one. I too have an air gun, nothing even remotely as technical as what you use. I have a Benjamin pump .22 caliber, Walnut stock, iron sites. My Dad bought it for me in 1966. I continue to take excellent care of it and it still great for small game and pests at close range. Just thought I'd share a bit of nostalgia for the old air gun with you and the rest of the community.

I grew up shooting a wood stock Benjamin .22 back in the 80's. Every afternoon I would take that out with a box of pellets. Who needs TV!

the mounting of the rear mount telescope is not parallel to the rifle, the solution is to remove the telescopic height adjustment on the rear mount and replace it by adding coated paper

Whats wrong with that i shoot the same way im right handed but blind in my right eye, so i use my left eye

I used to shoot like that because I'm left eye dominate but it's hard with open sites so I learned to shoot left handed.

I'm debating on a suppressor for this reason. You cant post up and clip critters from 150 yards without it.

All about priorities I suppose. Drives an older truck not a sports luxury. Hangs out at the farm with his mates, not the nightclub with models. Wears rubber boots to stand in manure, not Gucci shoes to a Gordon Ramsey restaurant. And most important he follows his interests very closely

Well, the way I see it someone shooting pigeons with a air rifle at 130+ meters in heavy wind and making hits has every single right to kill them. The do-gooders have no idea how hard that is. They don't know what kind of both luck and skill that takes. You aren't talking about wasting a squirrel at petting distance after you feed them for years to gain your trust out of a urban city park. You are taking shots that if you didn't have such skill and quality equipment (namely those scopes) would never be possible. I've seen guys shoot a 7.62x51mm NATO (.308 Winchester) at half that distance and miss every thing they shot and aimed at.
Well done....and stifle your pieholes crybabies.....
Don't even remotely pretend this is/was "easy"........
In England on farms we have Wood pigeons, but in South Africa those are Rock pigeons .

I luv your shooting skills & your channel is a joy to watch..I’m in the uk I’ve got a bsa R10 .177 but I’m going to get the FX impact x hopefully in the summer 2019 in .22 40ft/lb as any air rifles over 12ft/lbs you have to get a FAC for & then you can get 22 rim fire or 223 center fire 308 ect but you can go to the gun store & buy a 90ft/lbs crossbow with no license it’s messed up lol (the laws)

I am just about to buy my first FX air rifle. Currently have a Walther Maximathor in .22.I am hooked now with air rifle hunting & your videos have only made me bite the bug more,they are exceptional videos.
Just wanted to know what is your preferred caliber. 25 or .30 for hunting small game,ie rabbits,large birds & to try it on foxes out to 50 meters.

We'd generally try for only head shots at close ranges to prevent any sort of lead remaining in the hawk food

Not sure if this question has been asked but how do you find the slugs. Has the use of slugs changed the game or is it just a round you have come to like...
I run a hw100 .177 and use the jsb 8.44g in a 4.53mm as my barrel seams to like a bigger lead. Sadly we don't get slugs in .177 yet...
Is the barrel shrouded, or is it just a barrel with slug sleeve liner...?

Always enjoy your videos and find your long distance shooting interesting. Assuming one can't afford a $3000 scope, or simply can't justify it on an airgun, what would be your next choice on an Impact X .25 cal?
Please try and do a review on inferno slugs they are locally made , my opinion is that they are extremely accurate and consistent

@@gaabduberal yes I do as they are vermin and do all sorts of damage to farmland crops and livestock. So I would say what is done in this video was a good job and very humane if it upsets you then don't watch it or even try and understand how your veggies are protected by people shooting pigeons and other vermin on farms across the world.

Idk what power line steel you guys use over there, but here in the states I have personally witnessed 3 times, a bullet from a 22LR from 40 to 80 yds, break a single strand of the multistrand wire. First time I thought it was a fluke. By the third time I decided damage is very possible! I'm not discouraging shooting birds off power lines in any way. Just know 22LR definitely can break strands.

Hi I am new to pcp. I was just wondering after how many shots do you clean your barrel. And my pcp was accurate until yesterday after 300 or so shots and now everything is just not scoped in 1 shot is spot on next is like a mile apart ect. Any help would be appreciated. Love the content.

Matt, can you explain the camera setup utilizing the Eagle Vision Mount. I note zero eye relief, at the camera and what looks to be an eyepiece attachment.
