I’m considering buying one of these for $2,700… do they have a good or bad reputation? Do you know anything about these wagons?

@@user-hd8ej8yx9p They have a reliable reputation, manual gearbox, inline sixes.

@@user-hd8ej8yx9p The 528 is a bit more reliable than the 540. 540's have the chain guide issue. Otherwise typical extensive BMW maintenance issues.

LOVE my 540iT w/ 6spd swap. So engaging and powerfully smooth.

These guys had no clue they were reviewing the best BMW's the company would ever make, this was the pentacle, and it was downhill from there. What shame, imagine had they kept going up? but the 'magical' generation got old, retired, died off, the Gameboy/PlayStation generation that replaced them gave us car simulations rather than real cars. History ended.

It's 1999, yet 25 years later, this near perfect car simply needs to replace its 4 speed automatic with an 8 speed automatic oroptional 6 speed manual transmission. Both the fuel economy and performance would be about 15 percent better! Wow!

I wish that John Davis was my dad, I never met my real dad and now at age 38 I don’t think I ever will meet my dad, not cuz I don’t want to cuz I really do…..but cuz of my own mother who puts her evil desire first, ahead of my own desire of wanting to know who my real biological father is….anyways I love you John Davis!!!! I wish I could wear your skin over mine when you pass away….lol I’m just kidding!!!
On the wearing his skin part(sorry I got dark humor) but I wasn’t kidding about everything else…..but yea man imagine if John Davis was my father or imagine if he was your father….man, wouldn’t that be cool?

why would we want to showcase that. Audis of that era grenade themselves after 50k miles.

@@audleyyung552 You obviously don’t know much about them if you think that lol. Mine is tuned and boosted with almost 200k miles no issues and 23 years old. I know many others with similar stories lol
