Some of the reasons Walmart in specific failed are supposedly that they're against unions, the workers are forced to act a certain way, and they refused to abide to the rules every other store has to follow (when it comes to pricing things etc.) It's not just about 'a store so big you can't comprehend it' - though that Could play a part, as we have less space for ginormous stores stores in Europe (I've been to one that was huuuuuge, big sections for every kind of thing in that store, but that's like, a Singular mega store in this whole country, which, honestly, makes it neat. I'd rather just 1 of those and it's an experience going in there, rather than trudge through every other isle ever just to get milk every few days lol). And we have dozens of small family ran stores here, they're lesser now, but we do still have them, and I think that's neat, would be sad for them to go out of business
