Sick, good seeing you guys again this weekend 🤘
You too bud🤘
That post crash stuff.... I messed up my back snowboarding years ago and it took me 2+ years to feel comfortable on it again. Some injuries affect you more than others. Hopefully you get comfortable soon!
Yeah man it’s definitely taking me a while to feel completely comfortable again... can’t wait to have full confidence back!
I feel like this is the only way to compare... hard to do but the most true. lap it and change it in the lot and go out when its fresh in your head.
Looks sick.. Mullets just look amazing!
Swag😎😅
I have a 27/29 hardtail that feels pretty good on goat trails here Colorado and currently getting used to riding 26/27 and 26/29 fs mullets differences are very noticeable.
You should check out the Bike Yoke Revive droppers if you haven't already. They self bleed and you can adjust the air pressure inside the post via a valve.
Will have to check that out for sure!
Are these any good?
I’ve had a couple of Bike Yoke Droppers and they are definitely my favorite dropper on the market- the Bike Yoke lever is really nice too.
Looks rad, on time on this one🤙🤙
Yayyyy🤙
What if u mullet it without the yoke. I know it makes it closer to the ground and adjust geo, so flip the chip to high ? And send it?
I had the same problem with my seat post. It’s the seat tube, the cable gets kinked and the margin for error is really small. I wasn’t prepared to pay a load of money for an AXS post so the frame is being sold.
That’s exactly what’s happening to ours but we aren’t getting rid of these frames😅
Looking at both videos & comparing notes, it looked like you were riding slightly higher up in the turns~ closer to the top of the berms with the mullet. Like you were trying to drop into the turn & the bike was trying to go straight (which makes sense with the larger diameter wheel in the front). I have a 27.5 bike & was thinking of going with the 29er front so thanks for the info! liked & sub'd
Nice one 👌 I think I will put one of these on my enduro too. Are you running the bike in high or low? How close is the geo to stock?
Running ours in low. Not sure on the exact geo changes. That question is for Mic (the guy that makes it). Reach out on Instagram and I’m sure he’d answer that for ya!
Does the link change bottom bracket height? Could you not just throw a 27.5 rear wheel on and ride? I’ve got a 27.5 130mm stumpy and would like to increase the front fork to 160 and possibly run a 29inch up front. Then maybe do a cascade rear link to bump it up to 160 also. Thoughts ?
Back in 1982 I had my "Mullet" BMX bike by Kuwahara after watching ET and I paid $329 which was insane then.
Hey... just installed the WRP mullet link. High position with the mullet link is not even even close to clearing frame tolerances, chainstay bottoms well before shock can be installed, it only works in low bb mode. I did not measure how the stock linkage compared in high bb mode. Super bummed that the WRP mullet link does not allow switching to high/low. Did you guys compare the stock link in high to the WRP in low? I would think WRP would engineer the aftermarket link to work in high/low to allow changes. Makes me wonder if it is the same as the stock link in high bb mode.
Just reread their stats and it is designed to work in the low setting, I misread initially and missed that only some frame sizes will work in high. In the S4 definitely not even close to being able to flip to high.
I’d like to see a 29er w/27.5 wheel and compare it to a 27.5 with a 29er front end to see if there is a too high or too low of bottom bracket
This weekend was my first time at windrock and I had a great time.
Glad you had a great time! Windrock is awesome!
Dude how cold was it. We were supposed to go and it was just too cold
@@boooost3d the temperature wasn’t to bad but the freeze thaw was terrible. It was a very muddy trip for sure but by the end of the day some of the runs were running pretty dry.
@@t4n101 ok. Yeah, we planned to go next weekend but now it's saying it's going to be raining for at least 5 days straight
Damn it, wish I would have came out and rode there this weekend like I was planning. So bummed.
It was a good time!
Sick, I got a 27.5 specialized demo I'd like to mullet. But I cant justify buying a 29er fork along with a new wheel.
Yep, another wheel and tires is definitely something to consider. Worth it though if you’re looking for fun!
@@Blake_Cherubini you should get Shimano levers and pair them with the Magura calipers....in Europe we call it Shigura, it's quite popular and works great
I can’t believe how much Magura has let you down. Saints next or just some codes?
I’m most likely going XT or Saint when I get new brakes
I separated my shoulder about 3 months ago (no surgery) I can ride again but my confidence has gone down the drain.
Still working on my confidence too... we’ll get back to 100% soon!🤘
taking out the wrong bolt on axle had me laughing
Nice vid! May I know what Michelin tires are those?
Dh 22s
Hows the clearance issue on the linkage??
Next vid idea blake learns wheelies/manuals. Lol
Haha not next but it’ll happen this year for sure😂🤘
NIce! Now you just need to throw a coil on the back and your good to go
Was going to but the one I wanted was nowhere to be found...😬 stuck with air for now
@@Blake_Cherubini which one were you looking for?
Bro I set up a 27.5 / 26 mullet that us just nasty fun.
26 / 24 next??👀 or 29 / 26???
Did you have any clearance issues with the WRP Mullet Yoke?
especially between chainstays and bottombracket/Mainframe?
im thinking of mulleting my enduro too, but i am concerned this might become some kind of mud-grinder in there as there is already lots of dirt piling up there when im riding in the wet...
greetings from germany :)
Clearance is extremely close depending on the shock
@@Blake_Cherubini did you use the original flipchip?
Does make a difference when pedalling?
Haven’t had the chance to do much trail riding yet. We will let you know though!
That's a silent YES
Be careful with the yoke clearance, I have the exact same issue with my Enduro 2020 yoke + Float x2, it literally touches the frame, so I cant use it and Mic sent me a full refund.
Our Float X2s have plenty of clearance in the low position. You in the high position?
@@Blake_Cherubini Yep you cant even line the bolts to line up if in high, in low you can get the shock in place but its touching the frame. Mic is making some yoke's which are slightly smaller to combat this
Interesting... Blake’s super deluxe was very close to touching but like I said, our X2s do not touch. Weird that yours does if it’s exactly the same
@@skatefarmerftw what size frame you running? I had the same issue with my S5 so I didn't ride it. Lucky it wasn't my link so no harm no foul.
Dropper issues: reverb. Get a Oneup
Always heard good things about Oneup!
Action on the Transfer is better than OneUp but OneUp has that 210mm travel. Gotta grease the OneUp every dozen rides or so and top off air pressure. As long as you keep that up it’s solid. If Fox had a true 210mm I’d go with that (6’4”) but until they do the travel of the OneUp is worth the extra work.
you got a mullet? send er bud
Get a PNW Loam. Best dropper ever.
Will check it out!
Or a OneUp 🤙🏼
Both great.
U can get a matching pnw loam for shifter too
Seriously one of the best out there
@@Marc28031984 The one up is great at well! I find that the ease of use is a lot better in the PNW.
Why don't you clean your bike before you work on it
I think that new canyon torque will be better and cheaper than it bike.
Ok, thank you for that insight Ctenah Hnkoraebn4
@@maxwalker9990 LOL:D Stepan, like Stéphane Peterhansel :D
Sicckkkkkkkkkk
🤘
Friendly reminder that Mullets are short in the front, long in the back
Business in the front party in the back… just like a mullet bike
not a real mullet unless you have a 20" wheel on the rear.
Sorry man, couldn't stomach the music.
What if u mullet it without the yoke. I know it makes it closer to the ground and adjust geo, so flip the chip to high ? And send it?
You can do it that way. Flipping it to high will help, but the yoke will still bring it closer to stock than that🤙
