I had the same issues with my mt7 levers, replaced them with the HC3 so much better and solid with way more power. Another thing I noticed your not running magura rotors, try magura storm HC. Just an idea. Great channel 👍
We’ve heard HC3 is much better! We actually do run Magura rotors. Had an issue with one before this vid and the only spare we had was an old SRAM... thanks for watching!🤘
Dope. Not overrated IF you're the right height doing the right riding. I'm 5'7 and 29' just feels too big for me, but I could tell if I was taller I'd definitely choose it in certain situations. I don't really care about speed and don't prioritize climbing. I'd rather struggle a bit going up in exchange for more flexibility going down. If I was looking for more speed and didn't wanna lose that fun factor I'd definitely go mullet.
Regarding brakes, FWIW I've had luck w/ Hayes dominion A4 w/ sintered pads - reliable, consistent, powerful, very light lever feel, great modulation. I dig your channel, definitely some unique and interesting content.
Another Dominion owner, they have been great nearly 2 years now, only brakes id change them for would be the updated version whenever that comes out, which goes to show how briliant they are. Best way i can describe them is reliable, still look like i just took them out of the box, easy to work with and on, consistent bite point, tons of power and modulation at the same time.
Hey so I totally resonate with the choice of the Zeb based on looks! Kinda why I chose it over the 2021 Fox 38. Have not even ridden it yet. So I I am in the market for a rear shock for my build. I am trying to choose between the 2021 X2 like yours or the super Deluxe ultimate. Did you say the X2 feels better better than the super deluxe ultimate? so what about it feels better? My shock which ever choice will be the 140mm travel version since I downgraded and swapped my frame from the commencal META AM to the META TR which has less travel and a half degree steeper HTA.
Magura gave us a pretty legit discount... and we had only heard good things about them. Would like to try some others too if we can. Shimano, Hayes, TRP, etc.
@@Blake_Cherubini not trying to get nerdy here but,... I've read an article, stated that the " boiling point" of Magura is within the 250ish Fahrenheit, while Shimano and Sram are within the 500...., Even though Magura uses the Royal blood mineral oil, still, Shimano had the upper hand in comparison...., Keep on producing great videos, buds!
When you're riding do you have one or two fingers on your brake levers? And is there ever a time (like jumping) when you don't have any fingers on the levers? Reason I ask, I got pretty decent at jumping this year but never got comfortable with my hands.
Zero problems with Michelin so far. Wild Enduro rolls well. That rear specific tire has a more optimized tread pattern for that reason. DH22 on the other hand is super slow, but insane grip. Michelin rubber is so good
You should try the Braking Brakes InCaS.. best brakes ever. The most powerful (hidraulic power) in the market right now (yes, more than trickstuff, before someone mentions it). Modulation is amazing..
Do you know what is different about the geo with the link? Was kind of disappointing the site didn't say what changed on it. I would hope it is just that close that they don't figure 1mm less reach or .1* hta is enough to worry about.
We have not yet. Depending on your shock, you may not be able to run it in high. Companies don’t keep their eye to eye length completely accurate so it may be off by a few mm.
With a super deluxe, no. The clearance in the low position with a super deluxe is extremely close. Fox float X2 clearance is much better. Haven’t tested it in the high position as we never ever change ours to that
Did you have any clearance issues with the WRP Mullet Yoke? especially between chainstays and bottombracket/Mainframe? im thinking of mulleting my enduro too, but i am concerned this might become some kind of mud-grinder in there as there is already lots of dirt piling up there when im riding in the wet... greetings from germany :)
Sucks that you broke your oneup handlebars, I've been loving my oneups! Stoked to hear your thoughts on the WRP link, I am considering doing the same to my Enduro. I did just recently install the Cascade link and it has been blowing my mind!
@@Blake_Cherubini I actually had mt7s on my last bike and had the same problem. I loved em when they worked but they had various issues. Sick bike tho i have the same exact frame with ride wrap and some other sick parts
@@Blake_Cherubini like u said about the zeb, after they stopped working i just went back to what i knew was durable and reliable which was sram. Ive currently got code rscs with 200 and 220 rotors for that extra juice. They r extremely powerful but just dont have the same lever/modulation/bite point feel that i loved in the maguras
What do you think of the mullet setup? Will we like it? Is it overrated?
Business in the front, party in the back🎉
I want to run mine as a mullet but its so expensive.
@@boisebiker4713 as with any bike part, expensive, but worth it!🤘😂
I think it might be fun, but not faster than both 29ers.
When you say the geometry is "almost the same" what are the figures? Thinking of going mullet on my enduro as well
sick shots the production quality is for sure getting better
Thanks Bud😊
@@Blake_Cherubini was it the new cam blake got?
Maybeeee😏
Vid quality is insane buds great job

Thank you! Those Hayes brakes look nice, especially that caliper adjustment. Might have to give them a try sometime!

That’s a sweet bike if i’ve ever seen one
Sure is perty ain’t she😍
Maybe consider trying the Shigura setup 🤔
Swap those Magura levers out for some Shimano XT/XTR/Saints.
Main issue we’ve been having is on the caliper end... constant issues with glazing. We may have a fix coming here soon
I would actually really like to try this!
I can't wait to get back to Ohio to ride this summer, when I go back to visit family. Our farm is about 25 minutes south of Columbus.
Oh yeahhhh! Slim Shady laps for sure🤘
Are you going to be running the mullet for races this summer? Excited to see how ya like it.
Still gotta figure out how we like it, but my guess is yes. Can’t really think of any negatives to it as of now
Woah the shots are so sick
Thank you. Thank you. ☺️

The x2 just overall feels better than the super deluxe. It feels like it tracks the ground better in my opinion
Sickkkkk 🤘🤘, hey.... Why not Shimano saints brakes? I love mine, with ice tech rotors 203 front and rear, never skipped a beat!

One finger gang ☝️
Modern mountain bike brakes are so powerful these days one finger is absolutely plenty.
Did you put a glossy or matte ridewrap on the satin frame?
sick bike! how'd u break the oneup carbon handlebars?
Snapped during a stage at the Snowshoe Enduro with nothing significant causing it... had to finish out the stage on foot!

Shit, I just bought a one up carbon bar. How did you break your bars? Was it a crash or a sudden failure?
Not really a crash. Just slid out and picked the bike back up and it was broken
I just ordered my Williams Racing Yoke, are you running on low or high on your flip chip?
Low!
@@Blake_Cherubini thanks! have you tried setting it to high, just to compare?
We have not yet. Depending on your shock, you may not be able to run it in high. Companies don’t keep their eye to eye length completely accurate so it may be off by a few mm.

How do you like zeb? Do you think it is better fork at 170mm than the lyrik? Have you noticed more hand fatigue after switching to zeb?
I love the zeb! I actually have much less hand fatigue because I can change more settings with the ultimate
I use rubber bands for the brake levers when they dont go back like they should
good video boss! thanks for posting.

Gosh, soooo nice I want the satin raspberry frame, late cause of swim. I have regions this weekend wish me luck🤞🤞

Could I get away with an S4 frame? I’m 6’2 1/2
What is you height? S4 fit nicely?
5’ 12” and yes S4 is a good fit
What size is this and how tall are you?
What travel fork do you on this bike?
170mm!
If you switch out the stem can you still use the swat tool and compartment?
Yes!
Why did you switch from the 2020 enduro
Ended up switching to S4 and liked this color a bit more!
How the mulle... t set up rides that what we want to know
Haha we will get there... taking them do do some proper testing here soon 👊

ok than ... Will wait but pretty sure this set up is better this way

What shoes do y’all use?
Chase is rocking the new Crankbrothers Mallet speed lace shoes and Blake is rocking Afton Vectals!
Magura has that typical German reliability, anyone who had a German car can probably relate LMAO
It’s the worst man😂
“Speaking of breaking, we have the magura brakes” yes, they do like to break... not brake
How much does it weight?
36 lbs

Santa Cruz doesn’t have a SWAT box so HA!😂🤘
