Finding frames off mature / emerging brood for this year's starter-finisher was a little more intensive than expected as there was a lot of recent emergence.
I think they are looking good, they are drawing that comb out real well for ya. Blessed Days Alex... Ya I'm getting set up for a clean mine back up after black berries, over the next few weeks. I opened a lot of drone cells over the last last week on the new colonies and I found only 2 mites. I know they are in there but that's better then finding a lot of them.
Oh yea, no such thing as a nurse bee overkill when making a starter-finisher. I just finished the splits. Only 13 cells took but you shoulda seen those they were AMAZING looking cells 😁 (and I accidentally destroyed 2 😭)
Alex, best of luck on your grafting. Thks for the vid
Thank you :D

glad to see you have a low mite count :D
you cant put too many bees in there. it is amazing how many bees it takes to make queens
