I do love how uncanny El looked before Strive, because it kinda emphasized her inhuman qualities and why she's so obsessed with the concept of love and marriage. To her, it's just about the only thing keeping her "human", and it drives that point home for her to look terrifying at any given moment.
This family is awesome and Ky is still the best father. Ky didn't backstab, tried to sleep with his siblings, abandon his family for b.s. reasons, or turn his own son into a living weapon.
Granted he wasn't entirely there for his son at the most part due to some conflicting events that had him where he was during Guilty Gear II, leaving Sin with Sol for some duration of his life. But hey, give him credit for doing all he could for Dizzy, and making sure to do better with the rest of his family.
I agree but he did a lot. He turned himself into a Gear project for his Son. He didn't have to be there for Dizzy or Sin but he stayed, despite his religious beliefs and other problems, for the both of them. He loves the both of them deeply.
That was Sol not him, the best granddad in the world. That's why Ky looks so shocked along with Dizzy because he didn't have to do that. Sol gets enough money to treat Sin right but he's kind of lazy lol. Hell he even put him on a leash when he was growing up.

I personally think that he'd not want to consider himself like that since he has abandoned his life as Frederick after dying/becoming Sol-Badguy. But mainly, he may believe that his final battle against Asuka could end up with him dying so why reconnect lost bonds if his future is supposedly coming to an end?
In fairness, we saw Sol have a mental breakdown with Ky the moment he connected the dots. Dizzy probably wouldn't care as much, but hell knows Sol would probably be as awkward as possible if he were to have to directly confront it (especially if others are going to watch).
At first, when I said that Ky would be one of the funniest guys in GG, ppl would take it for granted. After Rev and Rev2, Ky is literally the funniest guy of GG. LOL
I get the feeling that this is going to be an awkward family situation for years to come. Sol is bad at social skills, having the personality of a tough, anti-social loner. While this enabled him to survive immortality (he's several centuries old), it also means he finds relationships painful and transient. I can imagine Sol preferring to stay away from his "family", except for Sin, even if they want him to be closer to them. Ky is also another source of awkwardness. Having considered Sol an enemy for years (it's complicated), the new knowledge of relations through his wife Dizzy has put Ky in a difficult position. He hasn't quite given up his dislike for Sol and yet he can't openly admit the hostility without hurting his wife and son. He's much rather pretend that Sol doesn't exist unless it's necessary. (Sigh) It's typical for some family members to dislike each other to the point that they'd rather have nothing to do with them.

It just amazes me that a FIGHTING GAME has such amazing lore and character development that many single player games don't even come close. Capcom, Nanco and SNK could learn a thing or two from Arc Sys in this regard.

The main plot of Rev 2 Is rescuing her. She just has a creepy smile for some reason.
