I want to thank you for a very informative discussion of an interesting piece. If I understand correctly, this is one of the first pieces in which Scriabin stopped being Chopin and started becoming Scriabin! I understand this transformation better now than I did 17 minutes ago. Your performance was also very illuminating. The other youtube performances I have heard were either recorded so imperfectly or were played with such excessive rubato that I couldn't hear what was going on, either harmonically or thematically. Great video!

Yes, not very common key though... Chopin has one Nocturne in it that I haven't yet covered here, with an amazing atmosphere.

      Agreed. Bach’s WTC2, Rach’s prelude, Scriabin’s third sonata, Brahms’ op 76…

Thanks, that's great to hear! I have the spring planned now with a lot of Beethoven coming up, but possible some more Scriabin after that!

"My dear Lucia, she caresses me to a point of sheer ecstasy and ethereal devotion and passion." This piece is like attending a royal night party and you're trying to get to know a girl and you dance together until she has to leave..idk..feel like that kind of party to me

How come there are no editions of piano scores with the harmony indicated?
I have asked around. Dumb and hostile response in shops and friends' faces and dumbass teachers ("just play the notes!", in an angry tone, i.e. don't thing. B. Giraud especially).
Some of us think Harmony constantly when deciphering or playing.
The scores could as well provide that.
