This was a test run. It's got a shroud now and have used it quite a bit. Yes, tension was not quite there yet. No decapitations in the 2 years yet. Thanks for tuning in.
Hey sorry for the late reply, didnt see this. Got me thinking here... i think i set it up to run 4500 feet per min at 4500 rpm. I do not remember the gearing as it goes through a series of gears through the clutch.

No guid rollers along the bottom ? Be careful... push to hard you will wear that bandsaw blade will pop right off

The tracking. Yes it is dangerous to run this way. It now has blade guides as well as a fiberglass reinforced plywood guard
does the blade stay well during a cut?
Yes it does now with the installation of blade guards. You can see it in some of my other videos.
