  • As the world’s final oil resources are becoming depleted, countries are moving towards an untouched source of oil deep beneath the Arctic. However, new technology is opening access to once inaccessible areas. But should our need for more fuel take precedence over an already fragile environment? With more companies looking for efficient sea routes, will the Arctic Ocean provide a new superhighway for goods and services? And if so, what kinds of conflicts could arise from this?

Things don't seem to have turned out so well between Russia and the west considering the nuclear threats over the past 2 years and the new threat of Russian space nukes, possibly this year, possibly in the next few months.
Fukushima was another reminder of how 'safe' nuclear power is and S. Korea wasn't very excited about Japan starting to release the Fukushima nuclear waste water in 2023.
Do people still not understand that there have been multiple glacial (colder) times and interglacial (warmer) times throughout the ice age? The reason(s) for the glacial and interglacial times throughout the ice age (past 2.6 million years) are not clear. There is no way of knowing what the climate will do.
It is clear that the planet is becoming a more and more toxic dump with oil spills, nuclear waste, plastic waste & microplastics plus everything washed away in floods and tsunami, etc. One way or another humans will continue to make it worse.
