In the studio Vessel performs all the vocals and plays all the instruments except for drums and percussion which are played by II (Roman numeral 2). Vessel also is credited for production too along with Carl Bown. For live performances or tours they are joined by III on bass and IV on guitar and sometimes by 3 female backing singers. At some point, you should do the live performance "Bloodsport, from the room below" It's just Vessel and his piano and it's AMAZING. His voice is so amazing and you'll not hear anything else like it. It's so impressive.
Whoa. Ok, my brain was all over the place with this one! I felt a Tommy Vext vibe in the singers voice, but then into Kings of Leon when you said British accent. This music was so heavy and the singer had a fantastic strong yet beautiful voice. And then they brought in that funk! Wow, there was so much to take in on this song. I'm definitely listening to this song again. This was a great video and great song to cover! Oh, and I was not ready for this as well 😂

I live for first time reviews. The confusion when the bluesy/funk part starts is priceless. Yes Vessel does all the vocals and keyboard, II drummer, III bass, IV guitar. You should definitely watch some live videos, IIl recommend The Summoning from the US leg. Vessel gets an assist from IV with the harsh lyrics amd screams live. Have fun diving into their catalog and Worship. 🖤

Yassss! Sleep Token are the best band I have ever come across and the recent album is definitely my AOTY! You should go down the rabbit hole now. They’re genre bending and use elements of everything from rock, metal, RnB, trap, hip hop, gospel, and more. Even if you don’t like one song don’t write them off as every song is different and as you can see from this one they switch up completely through the songs, also don’t be thrown off by some of them being 7-8 minutes long either as it goes by far too quickly. You should start at the beginning and work your way through as they tell a story and have call backs to a lot of them. The band are anonymous, I and others know who they are but won’t reveal out of respect to the band and fans but the singer goes by the moniker Vessel, drummer, who is a beast is II, bassist III and guitarist IV. From London UK. As far as their discography goes they brought out two EPs called One and Two, then 2 singles called Jaws and The Way That You Were, then the three albums Sundowning, The Place Will Become Your Tomb, then TMBTE (Take Me Back To Eden). They’ve done five covers that I’m aware of. One being Hey Ya by OutKast, I Wanna Dance With Somebody by Whitney Houston, Is It Really You? By Loathe and When The Party’s Over by Billie Eilish, Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen. His Vocal range I believe is B ♭2 to F#5 and he has a wonderful chest voice, head voice and scream. I have never hyper fixated on a band like I have with these! Loved the react and Will subscribe and hopefully see many more. 🖤 The trilogy = Seduction. Destruction. Liberation.
Nailed it!! It was funny trying to describe and find the words to sum up this band, and it is near impossible without in depth explanantion and analysis. You summed it very well here and I agree 100%. I am here for the long haul and I can not wait to see where they go. I'll be here for the journey! Cheers, more to come.
I'd recommend either Ascensionism or Take Me Back To Eden as songs to check out. Two more examples of how varied this band can be while still executing on a high level. Both are very impressive songs. But honestly, anything on this newest album is really impressive.
