8:49 that is blood on the walls. Blood turns dark when deoxygenated. It is been there a long time. Just like the rest of the structure it has started to rust because of the iron in it.
The PDA you are missing is actually on the path near the ground level hab. You came in from the opposite direction from where it is. If you had kept walking you'd've run right into it. I always have that same problem of remembering to grab that particular item, and have to remind myself it is there.
Got to build the large room, with a glass roof, in the shallows so you can put the roof right at the surface, it just looks more cool that way and you get your solar panels up in the air for full power. Then add a moon pool and that's all the base you need for an outpost. The alien containment in a large room is also a must since it's so much bigger when you put one in a large room, and well, it's not a real game if you don't hatch a cuddlefish.
One of my favorite things to do in this game is make "my own aquarium". Such a cool looking game and it's cool how things actually grow like the fish and plants
@@tylerstickle2957 I haven't done a multi-room aquarium since they added the large room, now I've had the idea I'll have to go build one. A bunch of large rooms connected with 2 large alien containment chambers each should look pretty cool.
In theory you actually shouldn't be able to see the island until you got close because of the curvature of the planet. However the map is actually flat, so they put clouds. I'm sure there was also a load distance issue that this conveniently solved
Subnautica is #1 on my list of games I wish I could play again for the first time because of the amazing storyline and how it unfolds during game play. And you really should build a base since the only update since you last played added base parts. FYI - The PDA on the island is further along the path you took from the beach, a little ways past the valley base and just before a tunnel.
Unpacking is a game I wish I could play again for the first time. Moving in all the stuff is fun and all, but the emotional journey of seeing this character's life unfold through these different stages. Putting the pieces together and understanding the journey she's going through. It's something else, and something you can't get back on a second play-through.
@@eepygooberr He asked us for games we wish we could play again for the first time. I was just giving my answer. The answer itself is pretty self explanatory.
No they actually didn't make it a requirement 5:47 as to get in the ship you can still make the jump but not from the big box. There are three little boxes there and if you go on the middle one you can make the jump easily so if you don't wanna get a propulsion cannon then just go to the middle box at the cargo bay to enter cuz you can make the jump from that.
After much debate I opted to try Subnautica since I never played it. I got a bit stuck and feel really clueless a lot of the time 😂 so I’m watching some of your play through… very helpful! I always enjoy your positivity and seeing how much fun you have playing! Thank you!
One thing I wish they had fixed for the Cyclops is a special docking bay for the Seamoth, along with that mid docking spot. That way whoever is playing could bring both 'vehicles' along without having to pick and choose which one to take
In my playthroughs it always seems like the parts are in the same general vicinity. It might be a few feet away or a few hundred yards but usually they seem to be relatively close to each other
For the base building.. porque no los dos? Happy someone is doing a playthrough in 2023. I've seen bits and pieces of the game over the years but just picked it up during this year's steam summer sale. Using this to figure out if I'm missing anything in my playthrough.
Large room hype!!! So happy they added some of the below zero structures into subnautica. If i could play some games for the first time again it would be this one of course, ARK, World of Warcraft, Dyson Sphere Program and Dark Cloud 2.
i know this video is old, but when i played that game that is what i did i just mad a outpost type base because it was really impractical to have a full base anywhere
Ark survival evolved I remember when I just sat down and played some good old are, and didn’t have to worry about anything in this world and now everyone is just sweaty
I wish we could play Minecraft again for the first time because when I started it for the first time i was 5 years old and now I am older and it would be much more fun
I'd put Half Life and Skyrim before Subnautica, the unexpected events of HL and the scale of Skyrim are mind-blowing the first time played. Oh, and maybe Stalker, too.
I haven't watched a playthrough of subnautica yet but I bought the game and stopped playing pretty quickly. It doesn't have a good roadmap of what to do or where to get things so it was just not fun to play. I like watching the playthrough much better than playing the game!

10:31, “Space-nautica?” No, no, no… they would 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 to call it “Astro-nautica!” 😎
This just in.

I'm excited for the next episode.

There's no game audio? Still a great video though!
Didn’t even realise till I saw your comment 😅
I always assumed the island cloud shrouds were a form of alien cloaking. Since the research here was so important.

I would roblox cause when i exprienced it first time i like hyped from everything that ended A lot after that
The PDA is on the road to the DeGrassi wreck. You walk past the wreck to a natural arch and it's right there or right before there.

I'd like to play any Bethesda game for the first time again. I know them all so well now, there's no surprises left.

Game I want to experience again like it was the first time? Skyrim and Valheim are my top two. Subnautica would be great too though.
A second "first time"? Probably Fallout 4. I think a small support base for the cyclops would be appropriate. A place to grow some food/etc.
We love you so much z can’t wait for more Subnautica
the caves on quarantine island have a lot of lithium and shale lithiu can also be found in the mushroom forest
Am I the only one that calls it Gun Island?
@@alarkharno, you’re not. 😂 Quite a few content creators that I’ve watched call it that too. I call it Architect Island.
Btw it's shale instead of Basalt
It really has been a while since you played Subnautica
My screen froze exactly this time stamp. Very cool.

I just started my 1st playthrough of Subnautica and i am hooked love the game can't believe it stay on my wishlist forever !!! Great vids
First-time player, finding this series really useful Z!
I've heard lots about this game but I've never seen it played. This is actually pretty cool
JackSepticEye and Gab Smolders played Subnautica and Below Zero; they have playlists.
@@RabbitsFunWorld might take a look at below 0

Can't wait to see how use the new big room
Also I'm totally fine with just building a Moonpool for the Vehicle Upgrade Console
There are barnicals on reefbacks that drop silver and copper.
@Z1Gaming.?

I believe you muted the game audio
Im not hearing any music
nice content, this should help me with my playthrough
5:18 Portal.
First time watching Subnautica and you in general, looking forward to the basebuilding.
I love subnautica and ur channel z1
Large room hype!!! So happy they added some of the below zero structures into subnautica. If i could play some games for the first time again it would be this one of course, ARK, World of Warcraft, Dyson Sphere Program and Dark Cloud 2.
Do you play pve or pvp on ark
Cyclops are cool but actual bases, especially with that big unit, is better. Especially if mods were added for base features.
hmm it seems theirs no game audio
I would be picking up a lot of salt, so much easy water production right at the start of the game
i know this video is old, but when i played that game that is what i did i just mad a outpost type base because it was really impractical to have a full base anywhere
Look at the head of the propultion canon, if it turns you can pick it up
Blood darkens as it dries
Why is the game muted?
YES YES YES YES!!!
Best games to experience again: Subnautica, EverQuest, Gothic… maybe Satisfactory?
The Man who never died is finally Back with one of my favorite Games of all time.
Man I remember the first time playing minecraft. I would love and hate to relive that experience
You took off your fins when you were tying to jump on the crates in the previous episode instead of making the propulsion cannon
im not hearing the sound from the game.
I found your channel in 2020 looking for this game. I play this game all the time.
Thermals are in the jelly shroom cave degasi base btw.
Ark survival evolved I remember when I just sat down and played some good old are, and didn’t have to worry about anything in this world and now everyone is just sweaty
you can fit like 50 wall based storage lockers in the bottum on the cyclops alone and they can all be labled for organization
@Z1Gaming. do people actually fall for this stuff
Playing nomadic sounds fun and is different
Been watching you playing Subnautica for a few years now!!
There is a Cyclops dock mod @ NEXUS that is quite awesome.
Will that skyray despawn? Or did you leave him stuck?
Free the skyray
just got back on this game for another play through and luckily you had the same idea
Cool
I mean, human blood may oxidize differently in an alien biosphere. Maybe those black splotches ARE blood.
You didn't have fins on because in previous episode you tried to jump on ship without fins but eventually used the propulsion cannon
Eternal Darkness, Soul Reever close second for mindwiped replay.
Subnautica and probably rdr2 would be the two games I wish I could relive
Why no game audio?
Hey Z on the 1st Island you didn't go into the Cave with the Alien teleporter
Me going to the engine for Cyclopes sees a reaper waiting for me

Yes cool game
Final fantasy 7 would be the game i would want to play for the first time again.

FINALLY! HE PUT HIS FINS ON! 😂 THANK GOD 😂
Hands down the game I wish I could experience for the first time again would be soul reaver
I love your bases. At least build it, then roam around!
This is my first time checking this game out
I’d love to play Thief again for the first time
This is my first time watching this game and have never played it either.
I'd put Half Life and Skyrim before Subnautica, the unexpected events of HL and the scale of Skyrim are mind-blowing the first time played. Oh, and maybe Stalker, too.
make a Reely big base and a cyclopes
Love the sound of your voice Z but what happened to the game audio?
I think the name of the sequel should be Cosmonautica
Uhhhh I think the game I wish I could play for the first time again is Jedi survivor, I know it’s more recent but still
got Subnautica during the summer sell :)
The game I would like to experience for the first time is skyrim. By far my favorite game ever.
its funny how similar z1 and I are, yet i have NEVER beat subnautica, despite having hundreds of hours on it
Old, dried blood can go very dark, almost black even...
hi i think you are one of the best gamers
Dying light would be my #1 game that I would replay and #2 far cry 5.
My first time seeing the game but i like it.
Bild base for storage and upgrade staf.
Would love to play KOTOR for the first time again...
First time watching this game 😊
I wish I could play Zelda Ocarina of Time again for the first time.
Why were the game sounds off?? I enjoy the episodes much more with them on.
You know I think he would like star citizen
You should have cut the melon for seeds.
Why hasn't Z1 posted 2023 subnautica for a while?
Dont forget you can pin recipes in order to have an ingredient checklist on the go!
Id play subnautica for the firdt time again
U should do some more modded after this series
U can update subnautica to legacy so u can get mods for older subnautica like fcs
@Z1Gaming. Yooo
