William Zabka is Johnny Lawrence on Cobra Kai, reprising his role from The Karate Kid movies. He is also known for his roles in National Lampoon's European Vacation, Back to School, Hot Tub Time Machine, How I Met Your Mother, Psych, The Man in the Silo, and many more.
Martin Kove portrayed John Kreese in Cobra Kai, also reprising his roles from The Karate Kid movies. He is also known for roles in Death Race 2000, The Edge of Night, Rambo: First Blood Part II, Cagney & Lacey, Red Sky, The Goldbergs, and many more.
Xolo Maridueña is Miguel Diaz in Cobra Kai. He is also known for his roles in Batwheels, Rush Hour, Parenthood, and Twin Peaks to name a few.
Jacob Bertrand plays Eli “Hawk” Moskowitz in Cobra Kai, and is also known for his roles in Ready Player One, The Swap, Batwheels, Kirby Buckets, Bubble Guppies, and more.

What the show Cobra Kai does so great is it makes you feel Miyagi is there when he is not on the screen. Even in death its still Pat Morita's universe and we are all living in it in Cobra Kai
This is one of the greatest shows of all time the writers/actors/kids all did a remarkable job at this show and deserve major respect

Martin Kove is awesome throughout the franchise, but he killed it in the original. Such intimidating pure evil, which made Daniel and Miyagi look even better with their triumph.
Xolo’s hair is SOOOOO nice
I became aware after hearing William Zabka talk about how people viewed him the "quintessential 80s asshole for 30 years" after the Karate Kid because the writers didn't give him as much depth in character. I realize that this is EXACTLY what is happening to the Kyler character in Cobra Kai. Kyler is the asshole character throughout the series without depth and fans of the show will view him the same way they viewed if the writers don't give him any arc or even a "redemptive moment" like Johnny after the Karate Kid.
38 years ago today was the All Valley Tournament 19 December 1984.
That was awesome! I attended my first con in Chicago with my son earlier this year and I told him the only way I will return is if Cobra Kai Cast is part of it.

Thank you SO MUCH for uploading this! I'm considering this an early Christmas present. I hope this means we'll be seeing more of this amazing cast as we await season 6 of my now favorite series of all time. Cobra Kai has fulfilled me in so many ways I never realized I needed until now. Let's all pray that Netflix gets their asses in gear and gives us all the green light for the continuation of this story very soon. I wish everyone who reads this all the happiness in the world :)

Something recently occurred to me
By changing the Daniel/Ali breakup story CK did Mr Miyagi wrong
He never would have given Daniel a car with bad brakes
Or maybe Daniel didn't properly maintain the brakes.

He didn't have the car long enough at that point for the brakes to go completely out unless they were already in poor condition when he got the car.

They are clues that conclude that Dutch maybe Tori’s father:
1. Backstory and Connections: If the show reveals any hints about Tori’s family history that connects to Dutch or references past relationships.
2. Character Development: If Dutch reappears in the series and has interactions that suggest a deeper connection to Tori.
3. Themes of Legacy: The series often explores themes of mentorship and familial relationships, so a plot twist revealing Dutch as Tori’s father could align with those themes. It would fit if the writers write it in the show

Johnny was never the bad guy see even William Zabka spoke that he was never the bad guy just not taught well.
The ending of the first movie showed that he was a good sportsman, when he lost. Johnny took the trophy and personally awarded it to Daniel.

@@nealsmall9316 Probably in the dumps, like what happened with Kreese or used again for something else and put in jail, after being discarded. Terry had no soft spot for anyone, except Kreese. Everyone else is fodder for him.

Is Cobra Kai, and Miyagi Do the same karate? Miyagi’s father taught Mr. Miyagi, and Sato. Sato taught Chozen. Chozen taught Miyagi Do to American soldiers in their dojo in Okinawa. Captain Turner taught Kreese and Silver in Vietnam which they decided to call Cobra Kai. Where did Turner learn martial arts…… could it have been at THAT dojo in Okinawa. It is clearly shown in 1985 that Sato had been teaching karate in Okinawa for 40 years on a billboard at the airport when Daniel, and Mr. Miyagi arrive, which would play right into Captain Turner's timeline in Vietnam 😦.
Cobra Kai is Tang soo do, which is from Korea. And in season 5, Kreese and Silver go to Korea to continue their training with the man that taught Turner.
