Disclaimer: I am aware many Instagrammers have made a similar pattern. I did not follow any pattern to make this sweater. It was inspired by the willow granny square and freeform crocheted.

This is a granny square sweater I would actually wear! It has drape and movement. It's so simple, but you made it stylish with adding the rows of dc and using two different hook sizes for that romantic comfy look. Thanks for sharing :)

Do you have any recommendations on how to make it longer? I think this will be a bit too cropped on me, should I just add double crochets across the front like you do with the sleeves?

Yeah add a few rows of double crochets.. or when you make your squares you can add more patterns there too… like double the space stitch and double crochet part…
