Inspired me to write my own comedy songs… he’s such a talented bloke and Inside is the best thing he has done so far. Can’t wait to see where his career goes from here
I actually want to thank Netflix for a second. I'm a huge Burnham fan since the dawn of RUclips, and I appreciate that you saw Inside for the cultural phenomenon it was going to become. Not all publishers would do that, to put it mildly.
I feel like they made this video as a result of how well Inside did. So now he is there golden goose that they need to exploit and pull as many golden eggs out as possible. I just hope that Bo's mental health is strong and can withstand being thrust back into the spotlight has hard as he has since it did so well. I hope you the best Bo!

I have a serious crush on this guy. I had watched a lot of his stuff without even acknowledging him as the great artist he is. After watching Inside, I've been digging the depths of internet to find every little piece I can about him. He is one of the few artist who have been able to vocalise a lot of my thoughts, fears and anxieties.

Years ago Bo said in a Reddit thread that Netflix and Viacom were discussing it but that they weren’t getting along so all he could do was hope it would get on there eventually. I seriously doubt it now because he said this when “What”. was just released. I just bought it for $10 on Amazon Prime.
"Make Happy" was fantastic and self-aware which made "Inside" even more impressive. It was a very retrospective take on how his career has affected his life and mental health while also managing to demonstrate 2020 better than any of the other media that was produced in response to COVID-19, namely all the medical dramas that tried to convey the collective experience while only being able to add a few more scenes with masks and lingo that is destined to become dated and used ironically. I enjoyed Bo in 2006 and seeing his progress and growth has been spectacular.
Started watching with "what", and he's just gotten better every time. "Make Happy" was so good but it had ZERO time to breathe. I honestly think "Inside" is some of his best work. So many layers while staying easily digestible and not overly pretentious. It feels so powerful because the pandemic is an experience that virtually the whole world can relate to now.
I am so happy that I am in the same timeline as Bo Burnham. The world is a better place with him in it and I hope he lives to be 200 years old so my great grandchildren can show him to their kids.
my favorite song of his has to be “rant” from Word Words Words. the lyrics are spectacular, and the fact that he was 19 makes it even better. he is so insanely talented.

The dilemma with all these people “reacting” to Inside is that they no idea the genius he possesses. The depth of his work, almost every song you’d have to listen to multiple times because you miss something and need to take it all in. what. and Inside are without a doubt in the top ten of comedy specials PERIOD. it makes me so happy how much bo has grown, i remember being so little and watching the "my whole family thinks im gay" video and loving it despite not fully knowing what it meant. a few years later i found his "what" show on netflix and a year later found his "make happy" show. it makes me so so happy seeing how much he's grown not only as a person but what he's done.

I first stumbled upon Bo's forest video My Whole Family when I was a fellow 16 year old (also born in 1990, no way!). Immediately I knew this kid was going places. Watching Inside just felt like the perfect full circle, yet evolutionary performance I'd expect out of him. Also Right Grade is an exceptional movie.
What. will always be my favourite of his specials because its the first exposure I had to him, but make happy is leagues above anything I've ever seen in terms of peak artistic performance

I actually love Bo in his "Oh Bo" video and "Zach Stone is Gonna be Famous" is an absolute masterpiece of a comedy show that never should have gotten cancelled. Whoever made that horrendous call should have been fired on the spot. He had the story, the talent, the audience and the potential to have taken that places but it is what it is.
Bo's solo, original work transcends music and comedy and satire - he has captured the absurd reality of modern life from the perspective of people who have never known anything but a privileged, globalized, perpetually interconnected world. Classic Masshole.
Around 5:12 the video claims Burnham was nominated for Best Supporting Actor for Promising Young Woman, which he wasnt. At least not at the Oscars, Golden Globes, MTV movie awards, or any other award show that someone would think of off the top of their head. He was nominated for some awards from some more obscure places (The Denver Film Critics Society for example) but it's for those that were mislead it wasn't an Oscar or anything. Not that that takes anything away from how clearly talented Burnham is.
This video could be an hour long and I would greedily and happily watch it and still thirst for more. Right now there's no such thing as too much Bo Yo. : )

It sucks you in, takes you by storm, starts speaking to you, makes you feel every emotion and heal a bit, only to come back to it the next day, watch it again and be overwhelmed by the genius that is BO BURNHAM...
What stuck out to me was how in his Netflix special Make Happy he alluded to his struggles with depression and anxiety. IMO one of the most honest potrayals of a conflicted genius. "Inside" will age very well.
My favorite thing is the Intro to What. Also Left Brain Right Brain, Oh Bo, Welcome to the Internet and I think the best one he's ever done is The Rant at the end of Make Happy. Brilliant.

I’ve been a fan of bo since 2016 and I’m still not over him-he’s so talented and just amazing with anything he does! I’m proud of him
