I always loved how ECTO-1 screeches EXACTLY as the brass section ends that little segment. I;ll always prefer this version over the OST verison... The OST version doesn't do it justice at all.

The Alessi Bros. actually released multiple versions of this song from their 1984 studio tapes-- which had to be baked in order to be playable again-- on a CD which can be bought here on their website. For ten dollars more, you can also get two Karaoke tracks. www.alessibros.com/AOL-EPK/Store.htm

The US Military, CIA, Amish People, Police Officers was nothing but a huge joke for the movie due to that Ghostbusters don't really need them

In the US novelization by Richard Mueller, just before they depart City Hall to head to Central Park West, the police captain tells Venkman that their special tactical squad and the National Guard are on standby. Venkman replies, "Forget the tac squad. There's nothing for them to shoot. But the National Guard is fine. People like soldiers. They give great crowd control."

They're not Amish. The US novelization by Richard Mueller says 'a minyan of Hassidic rabbis went by, bobbing and chanting prayers.' I had to look up minyan just now, and the definition I found says "a quorum of ten men (or in some synagogues, men and women) over the age of 13 required for traditional Jewish public worship" or simply "a meeting of Jewish people for public worship".

      They’re rabbis, not the Amish
