I put the older version of their diff brace on my Scat Pack and notice slightly reduced wheel hop on the street. Not meant to be a cure for wheel hop but it helped a bit. Also had a rear strut brace. Been thinking of getting this brace for my Redeye.
I have seen a demon and a 1000 hp charger that both blew the differential into pieces right off the line. This is a very wise decision on your part DD.
@@jonc8695 Have to ask why does FCA not put one on at the factory? At the very least the Demon should have come with a brace because they were essentially selling it as a street-legal race car?
A brace was one of my first add-ons.

Many people are no doubt surprised to find out that a differential brace is a new thing for a Dodge Hemi and maybe its just me but if it were my car I would have put the diff brace on BEFORE boosting the horsepower? Anyway well organized video and pretty cool car.

I agree, before ANY added hp.. new axles, driveshaft, diff brace and depending on hp gains, new rods and pistons.
Anoint426 Hemi for sure! Although the demon and redeye only need diff brace. Axles are much stronger so is driveshaft. I am getting a driveshaft so I will be set. There are a bunch of hellcat making over 1200 hp with stock internals. The red eye and demon or even stronger. Anything 1100 and under stock is fine with good tuner.

Hey Nic! Thanks for watching. It prevents your differential from having excessive movement and prevents wheel hop. It will also prevent your rear end from exploding. It’s a must have.
@@DrivewayDemons for a factory tuned 392 widebody would this be a must have as well? or its just good if your planning on upgrading your hp? also i think its time you make a 5 must have things that make your charger or challenger faster , perform better, and overall beneficial for the vehicle. theres alot of vids like that out there but i think people on your channel will really tune into that

Depending on the design of the brace, specifically the manner in which it attaches to the axle (or "diff" as y'all are calling it) it can actually CONTRIBUTE to catastrophic detonation of the axle instead of preventing it. Yes, it can help prevent wheel hop by fastening it securely to the rear cradle and bypassing the compliance in the OEM rubber mounts, thus avoiding high-frequency oscillations / excitation of the axle, but potentially at the cost of the integrity of the axle housing.
Personally, I'd invest in poly bushings before I installed an aftermarket brace.

Yes it is absolutely necessary to get a catch can!! Keeps the blown by oil out of your intake manifold and keeps it from sludging up your valve train!! Should be everyone’s 1st mod!!

Driveway Demons: HEADS UP!!!!! 2020 Supra recall. Just wanted you to know if you have any friends with this car. I sent this out to a few RUclipsrs that I know have 2020 Supras. Just wanted you to be aware of the 2020 Supra recall. Has to do with welds regarding the seatbelts. Just wanted you to know so you can contact your Toyota Dealership and have it inspected. The recall states that BWM is aware of 7 cars that have this defect. It goes on to state that the entire car will be replaced. Just wanted you to know for your own personal safety.

Just so you know it is true the 2018-19 hellcats are dumbed down in power, my uncles wide body 19 is making 598 horsepower... he had a 17 before is it was definitely making the power but the new ones are screwed other than the demons and the red eyes.
We went to Chrysler they said it was “running within the parameters” and brushed us off, then they sent some engineers down to check it out and they said the same thing. Our dealer basically turned on us, we bought every single car from lithia and they just tried to get money from us. Our sale guy bought my uncles 17 hellcat and he drove the 19 and said it’s a pile of crap and somethings wrong lord and behold when they sent the engineers back out AGAIN they said to our faces that it doesn’t make 700 horsepower... it’s fine.
@@agenttex7569 i had an 2018 m6 hellcat that was shit in low gear. I should have filed a lemon law complaint but traded it off and took a giant $$ hit.
Anoint426 Hemi yeah my uncle took the same hit while trading in the cat and his truck to get out of it.
@@agenttex7569 ive got a a8 kitty now and it runs pretty good. Air temperature plays a big role on how it runs on the street. Seriously thinking about getting rid of it but i hate to lose another 20k. Im retired so money is tight. and you ask if its so tight why spend it? My health isnt that great and why not own one even if its only for a short time plus i have no desire to leave money to my grown up kids and grandkids.
Im sure if the Redeye needed a diff brace the Engineers at Dodge would have installed one.

FYI Ive been wrenching a very long time and have never seen someone use a torque wrench like that. You can possibly throw the torque value out the window by not holding the wrench correctly. Also you kept pulling on the wrench even after it clicked. Why? That changed the specified torque values. and never jerk on the wrench, it should be a smooth pull.🙄
