Shameful Trinitarian John

  • Declaring yourself to be God would be to glorify yourself as God. Jesus stated he did not seek his own glory. So when the Jews asked him WHO he was, Jesus stated that if he glorified himself his glory is nothing. But Trinitarians claim he did indeed glorify himself as their God and shamefully contradict the words of our Lord Jesus.
"I do not seek my glory..... The Jews said... "WHO do you make yourself out to be?” Jesus answered, “If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing. IT IS MY FATHER WHO GLORIFIES ME, of whom you say, ‘He is our God."" John 8:50-54
Was Jesus testifying about himself at John 8:58?
“If I testify about myself, my testimony is NOT true. There is ANOTHER WHO TESTIFIES ABOUT ME, and I know that the testimony which He gives about me IS true." John 5:31-32
Was Jesus glorifying himself at John 8:58?
The Jews said... "WHO do you make yourself out to be?” Jesus answered, “If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing."
"My teaching is not mine, but His who sent me. If anyone is willing to do His will, he will know of the teaching, whether it is out of God or whether I speak from myself. He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory but he who is seeking THE GLORY OF THE ONE WHO SENT HIM, he is true, and there is no unrighteousness in him." John 7:16-18
Jesus told us plainly that he did not come in his own name and he did not seek his own will nor did he seek his own glory. He came in the name of the Father not to do his own will but the Father's will and not to glorify himself but to glorify his Father by finishing His work. Jesus only testified about himself insofar as he obeyed what the Father willed to say through him and what the Father willed to do through him. Jesus tells us that he did not speak from himself but the Father spoke through him and he did not do mighty signs and wonders from himself but the Father did his mighty works through him (see also Acts 2:22). Because he obeyed what the Father wanted to do through him, the Father testified to who Jesus was by making Himself known through this man of flesh - two witnesses, the Father and the Son. (John 8:14-18).
The swaggering Jesus of Trinity world is a fake Jesus.

Meaning that if the trinity is wrong and your view of God is correct then you must find it all throughout history in order for it to be right. This means you must find groups all throughout history that agree with you because if you are apart of the church that Christ established and his church will never disappear then your belief system must be all throughout history. in the Gospel according to John, (speaking of
eternal life) Jesus says, "I am the resurrection and the life.
He who believes in me will live, even though he dies."
(John 11:25). He makes the offer of eternal life conditional on
faith in his own person. This would be blasphemous for anybody
other than God. This is an incredible claim. Does he give any
evidence for his authority to make such claims? The record
gives many details of what happened at this particular day, but
at the end we read, "When he had said this, Jesus called in a
loud voice, `Lazarus, come out!' The dead mean came out, his
hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around
his face. Jesus said to them, `Take off the grave clothes and
      let him go.'" (John 11:43-44).
When you read the Gospels carefully you will find that
      consistently
      * Jesus talks like he is God,
      * Jesus acts like he is God,
      * Jesus gives evidence for claiming this authority rightfully
      by performing miraculous signs.
After 3 years with his disciples we read how one of them
asks Jesus and wants to be "shown the Father (God)".
Jesus answered, "Don't you know me, Philip, even after
I have been among you such a long time?
Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. ...
Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the
Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the
      miracles themselves." (John 14:10-11).
Jesus expected the disciples and the people around him to
recognise his true nature and identity from his words which
are only appropriate for God to speak and from his deeds.
Jesus does give enough proof and then lets you draw your own
conclusions. Everybody could make the claim to be God. And
many have made claims to be (a) god throughout history. Only
the true God can give true evidence for it and if you have
the evidence there is no need for the explicit command to
worship anymore. The statement "I am God" adds nothing of
substance to the question regarding his identity. His real
identity is established by the proof he gives, not by claims
each and everybody can make. After he has given the evidence,
there is no more need for the statement. Those who are open
for the truth will recognise the evidence, those who ignore
the evidence won't be convinced either if he adds this
specific statement you seem to demand from him. And if you
have recognized his true identity, worshiping him is only
proper and will nearly be an "automatic" response.
I know this is an incredible thought, it is unbelievable.
That is why it took even the disciples themselves such a
long time to really understand it. They have really only
started to comprehended the meaning of it all after Jesus'
own death and resurrection, after they meet the risen Lord.
In the Gospel according to John, end of chapter 20, and
the Gospel according to Matthew, end of chapter 28, we read
how Jesus receives worship and affims this. Even though he
never demands the worship, he accepts it and confirms it as
      proper.
      You claim:
      N O W H E R E Jesus says "I am God, worship me."
      and understand this as
NOwhere Jesus says "I am God, worship me."
and you are right when taking it the literalistic way. He never
says these very words. But he makes his claims very clear in
many other ways. Open your eyes and you will see that the right
way to read this statement is
Now HERE Jesus says "I am God

And now that I understand what is being said in scripture I will put a capital on a name or on God, but not on "christ" because it is not a name nor is it a title, but in Greek it means "anointed" so it is a descriptive word showing that Jesus is anointed, or "the anointed one" which also fits with this teaching, and to Deut18:18. Jesus is anointed by God, as the great preophet in Deut18:18, the seed of the woman promised in Gen3:15, and is the man that Peter tells us has been "made Lord and christ (anointed), in Acts2:36. *_22The glory which you have given me, I have given to them; that they may be one, even as we are one;_*_ 23I in them, and you in me, that they may be perfected into one; that the world may know that you sent me, and loved them, even as you loved me. 24Father, I desire that they also whom you have given me be with me where I am, _*_that they may see my glory, which you have given me,_*_ for you loved me _*_before the foundation of the world._*
_25Righteous Father, the world hasn't known you, but I knew you; and these knew that you sent me. 26I made known to them your name, and will make it known; _*_that the love with which you loved me may be in them, and I in them"_* - John 17.20-26~

How do you understand John 10:30?
Read John 17. We, Jesus, and the Father are all one in each other, tabernacled in each other according to John 17. In koine greek "εν" can mean numeric 1 as well as unity one, John 17 makes it clear the oneness Jesus speaks of is unity not sameness. Oneness is 1 and 1 and 1 = 1 and 1 and 1. Not 1+1+1=1(nor 3)

@@ken440 I think I may have lost a friend (who was raised Catholic, she left it for churchianity christiandom years ago) but believes she has truth in the triune three person way and reads a Bible that is mixed English with Hebrew. We have been friends for 3 years, we met on a then "Christian" site, now that site, they have gone the way of Hebrew movement and we did not. I have recently in early June, said no more to the Independent Baptist Church my husband I were going to. The friend had told me that I need to keep going because he is the head of the house but she thinks in the way of Triune.
I am not going to a church with those who believe in the wrong God and wrong Jesus, no way! He will need to do his own seeking just as we all must do. I did some hard time praying, that if it is the will of the Father, for my husband to hear the voice of his Son in truth, please prick his heart. Recently, my husband is asking questions, and I have shown him tons of verses. He has always been strong in saying there is only one God, he wasn't believing in a triune 3 in 1 all along, yet he didn't understand triune, nor understood that is what they believed. How many Christians are in these churches just following along with the narrative because they believe they are to have fellowship with the "brethren"? I think probably TONS!!! I did, and my husband too...he has now been home with me the last couple Sundays, the "pastor" has called, but friends we thought we had...they have not even tried to reach out. This is another part he is realizing, it was all lip service. A few people that we would get together with outside of church, they had told him, few months back, they thought we were being a little "legalistic" in areas (because we didn't do Christmas and other holiday church events). We both recognized they are pagan holidays for sometime. The setting apart has been more and more evident these days. Thank you for the reasoning in John's gospel both before and after 8:⁵⁸. Particularly enjoyed the point that, later the same antagonistic Jews demanded he spell out plainly whether or not he was the Anointed of God. If they had earlier understood him to be claiming to be their God (8:⁵⁸) why would they later press him on Messiahship? (10:²⁴).
Just an observation. While the reasoning is enlightening, the laborious repetition of the same expression over and over (as if the more times a thing is repeated the more persuasive it becomes....is a "propaganda tool") can be quite off-putting. In any case the meaning of John 8:⁵⁸ is well paraphrased by the Living Bible (despite K.Taylor being a trinitarian): "The...truth is that I was in existence before Abraham was ever born "
This claim to seniority over their revered Abraham and a claim to his prehuman existence (John 17:⁵) is what provoked their violent response.

He is clothed in a robe dipped in blood, and the name by which he is called is The Word of God. And the armies of heaven, arrayed in fine linen, white and pure, were following him on white horses. From his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations, and he will rule them with a rod of iron. He will tread the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty. On his robe and on his thigh he has a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords.

The Father was playing the role of a ventriloquist and Jesus is just the Father’s dummy? So according to your logic every time Jesus makes his mouth move the Father is the one who is speaking. So then when Jesus said in Mathew 20:28. just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.”that was the Father saying he is the one to serve and to be killed for many? Or when he was on the cross and said Father why have you forsaken me it was the Father’s speaking to himself ? because you said many many times in this video “the words that I speak are not my own” “I will put MY words in his mouth “ wow what a ridiculous teaching.

Most unitarians interpret epi eimi as "I am He", you seem to be implying that the link to Exodus 3:14 is not invalid but that the Father Yahweh was the one speaking and doing the works and as the Father existed BEFORE Abraham and Jesus as you repeat told them it was not he Jesus but Yahweh who was speaking and performing miracles.
This had been my understanding as a Christadelphian (Ref Phanerosis by Dr J. Thomas ) but so many unitarians have said it does not point back to Exodus 3:14 that.I had started to change my view.

The author of Hebrew likes to bring pieces of scripture to convey a message. The provision comes from here:
      Genesis 22:8 KJV
And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.
      then rest:
      Psalm 40:6-9 KJV
Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required. [7] Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me, [8] I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart. [9] I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, I have not refrained my lips, O LORD, thou knowest.
you can see here, no where is the writer trying to convey Jesus as being God but instead the lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world...he writes like this so people will search out in scriptures truth to know that Jesus is that Messiah.

ask yourself who in the bible did grasp at being equal with God?........
The devil, and the one he tempted, Adam.
Jesus the second Adam did not grasp at being equal with God, even though he was in the form (or image) of God just as the first Adam was. The first one created of the dust of the earth, the second one in the womb of the woman, thus fulfilling Gen3:15.
But this one went obediently through with Gods plan (where the first one didnt), so Phil2 is all about obedience and the comparisons between the first and the second "kings of the world."
The problem trinitarians have is caused by them inserting a pre conceived notion that Jesus pre existed into this scripture, even though it does not directly say anything about pre existence, and then saying "aha... see it proves Im right!"

In John 8:58 Jesus was speaking for God, literally speaking God's word, God Himself told Jesus to speak these words to the
Pharisees. These words he spoke were not his own words from his own fleshly mind and thoughts, oh no they were God's words
God speaking through the man Jesus who was begotten from above, the first born of many brothers.
God Himself was reminding the Pharisees, through the words put in Jesus mouth that before Abraham was "I am", which is referring to God the one and only God, Yahweh, the one true God of which the Israelites knew through the Shamah, and the thousands of other scriptures that God is one and only one not three and that God is spirit.
No where in the bible does it ever mention a trinity or refer to God as three beings.
The Pharisees and the Israelites, the Jews, etc etc were awaiting the coming Christ, the anointed one, to come into the world at some point in history!
Well here is standing before them and God Himself was telling them and showing them very clearly that this man Jesus is the anointed one and God did this on many occasions, in fact if you look at all the encounters God, Jesus had with the Pharisees has showing them all the time continuously that Jesus was the Christ, the anointed, the promised Messiah.
The Pharisees knew what Jesus meant when he said before Abraham was I am, they knew beyond a shadow of doubt what it meant!
Jesus himself stated emphatically undeniably a multitude of times that he is not speaking on his own authority, the words that he speaks are not his own, but the Fathers who sent Jesus.
Kel is right this why later on like Kel pointed plain as day for anyone who has eyes to see and ears to hear that the Pharisess said to Jesus just tells us plainly are you the anointed one. Are you the Christ, the messiah, the one promised, the one we know is coming at some point in history, are you him?
David was God's anointed, his Christ, so to was Jesus God's anointed, God's Christ!
Kel is exactly right, I will put my words in His Mouth and that is exactly what God did through the man Jesus, God's Christ, God's anointed one, God's first begotten son from above, who is our Christ, our Messiah, our Savior, our Davidic King, our High Priest, our Lord, our brother, and much
    much more...
Thank you brother Kel for another great teaching from the one and only true God, Jesus Christs God and Father, our God and Father.
Blessings of peace, joy, and safety to you and all the brethren, in and through our Lord Jesus Christ, and our God the Father, the one and only God..

Hello Kel, long time no speak. I've got some more ideas on John 8:58 i'd like your thoughts on.
Could the claim in 8:58 by Jesus be referring to himself as the (future, because didn't happen until he was immortal) anti typical priest of the order of Melchizedek? Of course I don't believe Jesus pre-existed, you convinced me about that many years ago (to which I thank you).
Let's have a look at the original priest of the order of Melchizedek (I think it was Shem since he would still have been alive when Abraham was on the scene but as to the who it was it is not important for now). We know that this priest blessed Abram, and we also know that is it the greater who blesses the lesser (Hebrews 7:7). The Jews should also have known that the Messiah was to be (at some point) a priest of the order of Melchizedek (Psalm 110), although Jesus wasn't this in the days of his flesh since immortality is a pre-requisite for being a priest of order Melchizedek. So when the jews ask Jesus about how he had seen Abraham despite not being 50 years old, is Jesus making some sort of reference to how the original Melchizedek priest had seen and blessed Abram and been the superior (or 'before' Abram) and Jesus is making the claim that he is (or rather will be) the true, antitypical Melchizedek priest, and therefore he is superior (or 'before Abram). We also know that Jesus spoke in parables to the jews, so we have to see what he was spiritually saying (especially in John's gospel where im starting to think nothing that Jesus spoke there was literal)
I think there is something here Kel, but it will take you to piece the full picture together. At the very least, it is another possible interpretation which doesn't result in Jesus being God or Jesus having to preexist. Making reference to Melchizedek, Jesus would have been claiming superiority over Abram which would certainly cause the Jews to pick up stones. Have a think and let me know your opinion.

The Bible gives substantial evidence to show that Jesus most likely existed in heaven prior-to coming to earth - see; Phil 2.6-7, John 1.15, John 8.23, John 8.58, John 13.3, John 16.28, John 17.5
Likewise the Bible also tells us that Jesus died and returned to heaven, which would not constitute GOD's mind, but moreso, as an identifiable person seated on GOD's throne.

@@smalltimer4370 Philippians 2:1-7 is talking about how we should look out for the interests of others, not ourselves. Paul then uses the example of Jesus, who despite being 'God manifested in the flesh' (which means he was the manifestation of the Father in the same flesh as we have) sought out the interests of others, not himself. Context.
The only thing that 'returned to heaven' was the Holy Spirit which Jesus had when he was baptised. The only thing which comes down from heaven is the Holy Spirit, which anointed Jesus at the Jordan. From that point on, he is a manifestation of the Father (up to when the spirit left him at the cross). Does he not say he who hears me, hears the Father? Does he not say if you have seen me, you have seen the Father?
You could also say that since Jesus was a direct creation of God (not born of the will of the flesh, Holy Spirit coming upon Mary) that Jesus returned to his place of origin, which was with the Father in heaven.
Men of the flesh are not going to find it easy to understand the words of the spirit. It took me a long time. I used to believe Jesus preexisted in heaven too. I was lied to, and showed verses outside of context. Almost nothing that Jesus directly says in the gospel of John is literal. The jews tried to literalise what he was saying - it got them nowhere. The disciples similarly struggled when trying to understand - it wasn't until later that the got it.

      Let's consider;
*_who, existing_*_ in the form of God, _*_didn't consider equality_*_ with God a thing to be grasped_ - Phil 2.6
As can be seen here, the language used in the passage implies that a living being(or person) exercised discipline - see 'existing' AND 'didn't consider equality'. Thus attributing obedience and discipline to the son of GOD prior-to taking-on the form of servant and a man.
With that said, may I ask what motivated you to conclude that Jesus must have not existed in heaven prior-to coming to earth?
For example; is there a particular Bible passage of scripture that you would cite to conclude that it would better to conclude that Jesus did not exist in heaven prior-to coming to earth?

      @@smalltimer4370 Hello
who, existing in the form of God, didn't consider equality with God a thing to be grasped...this applies to Jesus in the days of his ministry. He was God manifest in the flesh, that is he was the Father manifested in sinful flesh. He had the Holy Spirit without limitation (John 3:34) when the spirit came down from heaven at his baptism. This is my son, in whom I am pleased (to dwell).
Having all power in heaven and earth, he could have done whatever he wanted, yet he didn't. He always did his Father's will, not his own.
For example; is there a particular Bible passage of scripture that you would cite to conclude that it would better not to conclude that Jesus existed in heaven prior-to coming to earth.
Matthew, Mark and Luke make no reference to this. You have some scriptures in John, the gospel which emphasises that Jesus was God manifest in the flesh, so of course there will be some allusions to the Father, who was tabernacling in the body of Jesus, existing before he came to Earth. But this does not mean Jesus existed prior to his birth. There is no specific scripture which references this, either in the NT, or in the OT. In fact Jesus isn't even mentioned by name in the OT. All you have is some verses which require to imagine that Jesus pre-existed. Take phil 2:6 for example. There is nothing there about Jesus existing in heaven, giving it all up, coming to earth. What you have is Jesus, existing in the form of God, yet humbling himself like a servant which is exactly what happened post baptism. 2 of the 4 gospels indeed start with the baptism being the beginning.

Just to be sure I'm understanding, your position is that Jesus who was in the form of GOD on earth, emptied Himself to take-on the form of a servant and the likeness of a man so that He could humble Himself onto death?
With that said being said, and as the account contrasts Jesus' initial form with that of a servant and a man, your proposed interpretation leads to question when Jesus was not a servant and a man on earth to qualify His initial form.
As for supporting evidence, and while it is true that there is no mention of Jesus by name throughout the Old Testament, the Bible indicates that Jesus' identify was suppressed in-part of the mystery of godliness and until His revelation to mankind.
In continuing and with respect to supporting evidence, I'd posit John 17.5, in-where we find Jesus citing experiences with GOD prior-to the founding of the world. Likewise, I'd also posit John 8.58, in-where Jesus claims to have preceded Abraham as as GOD's firstborn Son.

John's Jesus explicitly excludes himself from the Godhead in John 17:3, where he calls the Father "you, the ONLY TRUE God"; where he tells Mary he must ascend to her God and to HIS God (God cannot have a God); and when he says he's a man who hears and obeys God (God cannot obey God).
John's Jesus claims pre-existence, not deity. He is before Abraham and shares in God's eternal awareness, but he is not ontological God, as falsely claimed by Trinitarianism.

He does not receive worship. He receives admiration and reverence. "Worship" in the KJV has the connotation of spiritual reverence and also of the kind of adulation proper only to God. The NT only assigns the first kind of worship to Jesus's disciples. The NT explicitly excludes Jesus from the Godhead, even in John's Gospel, where Jesus calls the Father "You, THE ONLY true God" (there's no room for the Trinitarian Son in Jesus's own christology); where Jesus tells Mary M. that he must "ascend to your God AND TO MY GOD" (God cannot have a God); and when he says of himself that he is a man who has heard and who obeys God's will and word (God cannot obey God).
If the NT Jesus is "God" then the NT would be replete with examples of prayer to Jesus AS TO GOD. There aren't any. All NT prayer is directly ONLY to God the Father-Creator. Jesus is mentioned only as a medium and intermediary to the Father, as in prayer "In Jesus's Name" and "through your Son, Jesus". The only NT prayer directed to Jesus is not directed to him AS GOD. It is only directed to him as God's agent and Messianic viceroy, as in "Maranatha"/"Come Lord" and in Stephen's death-prayer, "Lord Jesus, receive my spirit" ("Lord" not designating "Lord God", but rather "sovereign Lord/Messiah").

In a number of your videos you have exposed some of the ways trinitarian translators have construed a passage to fit their belief that Jesus is Almighty God.
Why do you seem to accept that "before Abraham was I am" is an acceptable rendering of John 8:58?
Some prominent trinitarian scholars such as Moffatt, Goodspeed, Barclay, even the Living Bible (surprisingly) do not accept the popular "I am" and prefer "I have been", or "I existed before Abraham was".

"Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you for so long a time, and yet you have not come to know Me, Philip? The one who has seen Me has seen the Father; how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?

Where an action began in the past and is still current in the present the "I am" in Greek becomes "Have I been" (John 14:9) in English.

The Name of God -> I AM (EGO EIMI)
Four verses which show the correlation between The Name of God and 'I AM' (EGO EIMI)
    (1) For many shall come in [My Name], saying, [I AM] The Christ; and shall deceive many - Matthew 24:5
    (2) For many shall come in [My Name], saying, [I AM]; and shall deceive many - Mark 13:6
    (3) And He said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in [My Name], saying, [I AM]; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them - Luke 21:8
We see this correlation in the Theophany in Exodus:
    (4) And Moses said to God, Behold, I shall go forth to the children of Israel, and shall say to them, The God of our fathers has sent me to you; and they will ask me, What is [His Name]? What shall I say to them? 14 And God spoke to Moses, saying, [I AM] THE BEING; and He said, Thus shall ye say to the children of Israel, THE BEING has sent me to you. - Exodus 3:13, 14 (Greek Septuagint)

      > ‘Therefore shall My people know MY NAME in that day, for I AM He that speaks’ - Isaiah 52:6
      > εγω ειμι αυτος ο λαλων / ego eimi autos o lalon = I AM He that speaks - Isaiah 52:6

If we conclude that GOD is in all things, then the notion that GOD became a man seems rather obvious.
Having said that and quite obviously, this does not make that which is from GOD equal-to or GOD Himself, otherwise, everything would be GOD, and nothing would be distinguished.
However and as this is not how the Bible presents things, the question as to who the GOD of Jesus is in power remains - as in; who is the GOD Jesus is now calling His GOD in heaven?
Likewise, who was the GOD Jesus called His GOD on earth?
And finally who is the GOD that Jesus was with in heaven prior-to His coming to earth?
Or better yet and for the sake of transparency, who is the GOD from which Jesus came forth?
Therefore and with that being said, the Bible proves to be self-affirming when it comes to the written truth, as the answer to such questions are as obvious as they are true - in that the GOD of the word in heaven(prior-to coming to earth), as well as Jesus on earth and in power in heaven, is always the same - that is to say, YHWH GOD, who is the source and GOD of all things known and unknown - that GOD whom Jesus identified as His GOD and our GOD. The GOD of Isaac, Abraham and Jacob - the GOD who's name was revealed to mankind as YHWH for all eternity and all generations - the GOD who's face we will look upon once the curse is lifted - the GOD who will be all in all upon the restoration of His will through Jesus Christ - Amen

To the Jews, this was a direct, explicit, and unmistakable claim to perfect equality with God, as evidenced by their reaction (v. 59; see also Mk 14:62-64). 2 Corinthians 11
. For I have betrothed you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted-you may well put up with it!
So right there you have been preaching another Christ who cannot save you.
Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
      Romans 10
For Moses writes about the righteousness which is of the law, “The man who does those things shall live by them.” But the righteousness of faith speaks in this way, “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’ ” (that is, to bring Christ down from above) or, “ ‘Who will descend into the abyss?’ ” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
So Paul called Jesus God. Isaiah referred to Jesus as Yahweh
      Mark 1
The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. As it is written in the Prophets:
“Behold, I send My messenger before Your face,
Who will prepare Your way before You.”
“The voice of one crying in the wilderness:
      ‘Prepare the way of the Lord;
      Make His paths straight.’ ”
      Isaiah 40
The voice of one crying in the wilderness:
      “Prepare the way of the Lord;
      Make straight in the desert
      A highway for our God.
      Every valley shall be exalted
      And every mountain and hill brought low;
The crooked places shall be made straight
      And the rough places smooth;
The glory of the Lord shall be revealed,
      And all flesh shall see it together;
For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”
Yahweh is God right here, so Jesus is being called Yahweh.
To say that Jesus Christ is anything less than Yahweh, you are accursed.
      Galatians 1
I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.
To say Jesus isn't God, makes you accursed. Its either you believe that Jesus is God or you believe that you are God.
Your theology is more dangerous than Satanism as it can poison good fellowships. Look at Tuggy and Kel and Buzzard. They are antichrists who rise up out of Hell and polute the bible.
      Here is the truth.
      Revelation 22
For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
So your salvation will be taken away if you don't repent and if anyone calls a Unitarian a Christian is welcoming Hell into their household and is very divisive.

      @ken440 3 года назад +1

its so simple sir. The subject they were talking about was the Messiah. Its in what this man here says. They are talking about the "anointed one" which Kel refers to here. Anointed is the Messiah, and Gods promise to Abraham was that Messiah would be from his (Abrahams) seed, offspring, children, lineage. So Jesus says the two words translated I AM (which is Greek ego eimi in the original scripture) which is an inclusive in subject. Everywhere else it is translated "I am (he) " which means he is the one they are talking about.
"What are they talking about in Jn8:58?"
They are talking here in Jn8 about their awaited messiah and Jesus said Abraham was pleased when he saw me (prophetically) and goes on after they twist his words to mock him, to say I am (that messiah).... "I am him" . "thats me folks." Its got nothing to do with saying I AM (from the burning bush fame) and capititizing the two words is a method of translators to suggest Jesus in this verse is saying I AM that I AM" from Exodus (to reinforce the concept of trinity) which is not the words of Jesus here in jn8:58, as this YT Video points out. Watch it through again.
Go back to Jn8:53, just five verses back. What does it say? "if I glorify myself, my glory is nothing. It is my Father who glorifies me, of whom you (pharisees) say "He is our God!" see, Jesus is saying God does these things and glorifies Jesus. Jesus says he can not and will not glorify himself. Its God, Jesus own God who Jesus worships and follows and is in touch with That Jesus says is their God and his, who anoints Jesus. i.e. Messiah.. Jesus is filled without measure with the spirit of God. Holy Spirit. Jesus is admitting to be the "anointed one" not the one who does the anointing. i.e. MESSIAH. We have been so brainwashed by what we have been told scripture says we dont read it as a logical whole, but expect some secret code to hide in individual verses and be put together across the bible like a Dan Brown novel, a code like a cryptic crossword. Where God intended it to be understood by simple reading comprehension of the masses.

*RE:* because its not the natural reading of scripture
*A.* Jesus referred to Himself as coming from heaven prior-to coming to earth
Likewise, the Bible identifies Jesus as 'existing' in heaven prior-to coming to earth and exercising humility and/or obedience to GOD.
And so here again, and if we are being completely honest with ourselves, then we have no good reason to conclude that Jesus did not exist in heaven prior-to coming to earth, or that John 8.58 would not appeal to such an arrangement.

Jesus Christ must have been acknowledgable as God. Because if we look at a man, do we acknowlage him as his body or his soul? For me, I acknowlage him as his soul, yet he is one with his body. But the soul is what lives on and therefore it is that person. The soul of Christ was the father, therefore when we see Christ we see the father. It's a simple concept that we are faced with everyday. If we separate the two it means we still dwell in our fleshly mind.

16And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.” (John 14:15-17)

No brother, it’s not the same thing. Yeshua’s own spirit was breathed into him by the same Being, who breathed Adam’s spirit into him. Yeshua as a human being - the second Adam, was anointed with YHWH’s own spirit like his father David, and as Peter later testified of him:
“Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the YHWH came upon David from that day forward.” (1 Samuel 16:13)
“YHWH anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for YHWH was with him.” (Acts 10:38)
Simply put, YHWH wasn’t Yeshua, but rather, YHWH was WITH Yeshua.
Yeshua proclaimed this himself after his reception of the Holy Spirit at his baptism. When he was in the synagogue he read from the prophet Isaiah concerning himself:
“The Spirit of the YHWH is upon me; because He hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; He hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound. To proclaim the acceptable year of YHWH” (Isaiah 61:1-2; Luke 4:18-19)
      After reading this, he declared:
“Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.” (Luke 4:21)
So no, Yeshua is not YHWH. Nevertheless, YHWH was revealed through the man Yeshua. To paraphrase:
Phillip says to him, “Teacher, reveal to us the Father, and
then we will be content. Yeshua answered him, “Have I been so long time with you Phillip, and your not yet convinced that the Father has sent me? He that hath seen my works hath seen the Father’s works. So how do you say, ‘Shew us the Father? Don’t you believe that the Father has sent me to do His work? I’m not doing these things on my own authority. Of my own self I can do nothing. These works that I’ve done are not my own, but the Father working through me is doing them. Believe me when I tell you that I am on my Father’s errand, or at least believe me for the very works' sake.” (My paraphrase of John 14:8-11)
      Peace.

Does Kell believe that Jesus is from everlasting. I don't think so. Look at Messiah's spiritual lineage:
Hebrews 7:3 Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.
Without father and without mother. Sounds like God to me.

      Let's consider;
_1For this Melchizedek, king of Salem, priest of God Most High, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings and blessed him, 2to whom also Abraham divided a tenth part of all (being first, by interpretation, king of righteousness, and then also king of Salem, which is king of peace; 3without father, without mother, without genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but made like the Son of God), remains a priest continually._ - Heb 7
Have you noticed the reference and context in the closing statement?
Paul references Melchizedek with regard to Jesus' own role as a High Priest, as he goes-on to say that Jesus had become a High Priest in like-manner.
In addition to this, and while we know Jesus had a Father and that His mother was Mary, that He was not born of the line of priests of the nation of Israel, and that he could not therefore have become a Priest by descent - 'just as it was with Melchizedek'
The Bible reveals that Jesus was specifically anointed by YHWH personally to His priesthood - 'just as it was with Melchizedek'
Furthermore, and as Jesus did not have any descendants or successors, He is therefore without genealogy, and will therefore carry-out his service forever - 'just like Melchizedek'
Therefore and all that being said, the contrast made between Melchizedek and Jesus Christ is both justified and explained.

@@smalltimer4370 Psalms 110:4 The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.
I understand rudimentally the point of the comparison. The the exposition of the priesthood
Is to highlight how certain characteristics of Melchizedek compared to the Lord Jesus Christ. There is no record of his death no cessation from his priestly office, and so a comparative is made to the Lord Jesus Christ, unlike other priests in the Bible. Hebrews 7:23 And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death:
In reality we know that the priesthood of Melchizedek ceased upon his death, and that Melchizedek had a mother and a father. Therefore our emphasis is on the priesthood of our Lord Jesus Christ, who literally is without beginning of days or end of life.
Hebrews 7:15-16, 23 And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest,
Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life.

Jesus used the divine name and applied it to himself and, when looking at the passage in its entirety (which you craftily did not include), made the claim that he was with Abraham and they both rejoiced in his coming.
The divine name was revealed to Moses centuries after Abraham had passed. Jesus rebuked them for their inability to comprehend the nature of what this claim meant and the many layers of significance therein, rather they just centred in on the statemen's blasphemous context in which jesus made the claim. This is then referenced by jesus as God's glorification of the Son. .....even as far back as the patriarch Abraham who only knew God as Elohim, never knew the divine name I AM, but Jesus says the patriarch knew who jesus was and the jews of jesus time did not therefore are not of abraham.
The overarching theme of the passage being that jesus doesnt glorify himself but God the Father glorified Jesus through the patriarchs and prophets..... and they understood who jesus was and who jesus is. To come away from that passage and suggest that, contrarily, it is a denial of the Son's deity is to be disingenuous at the best, and downright deliberately deceptive at worst. I pray it's not the latter.
It seems like you too have the same comprehension issue today as those jews jesus rebuked back them.
It's all very well you have your own view, but I cant help but feel that this is all deliberately misleading for purposes currently unfathomable.
It seems like you're suggesting that Jesus doesnt have a divine nature, and that the God's ontology is unitarian and exists solely in the Father, is that right? I dont wish to straw man your view, but that's what comes across.
With that said, what benefit is there to be had from Christ's crucifixion?
As sinless as Jesus of Nazareth is, the blood of a mortal Christ cannot save anyone from their sins. Only divine blood can do that.
Christ says that his blood will be shed for many, no man can atone for the sins of another never mind many.
"Brother" Kel is endangering the lives of the lost and the saved alike with this truly woeful false doctrine.
