fire herrscher was very powerful that Prof Mei had to modify her lover's body (Kevin) to become very first honkai beast DNA fusion warrior in HI3 universe in order to fight Fire Herrscher-Himeko in 50000 years ago. after her core made into judgement of shamash, Kevin could solo kill herrscher with that judgement of shamash. activation of judgement of shamash in greatsword mode literally can kill its user due to its explosive/destructive power. (it is exception for Kevin because he has fused with Parvati DNA that countering fire herrscher's power). so, can say how powerful Himeko is when using fire herrscher's power in present day. Celine-controlling Kiana is just lucky that judgement of shamash isn't around.

Normally I like the Japanese dubbed version but I have to say that I love the Chinese dubbed version of the fight between God Kiana and Himeko much more than with Japanese Dub. She'll weirdly still be there in-game and, next chapter might just include her reviving/recovering and having awakened form of Vermilion Storm. Like a phoenix? Probably.
I mean, both Sakura and Kallen are dead (and Sakura even chose to, just to be with illusion!Kallen), but we can still use them and they keep getting suits/clothes/etc. Sakura at least has an in-game excuse by using Mei's body, but Kallen shouldn't even be able to do that with Kiana's considering she's 100 % dead. So no worries there.
I just started playing the game and this event (a glimpse of what Chapter 9 looks like) made me wanna play this game more. I teared up at the ending. Himeko was such a badass teacher.
Actually I don't like to use Himeko in game, so my fav Valkyrie is not her. But after watching this, I change my mind, she will be in my Valkyrie list.

She'll likely become a stig as it seems like legends tend to.
I mean, both Sakura and Kallen are dead (and Sakura even chose to, just to be with illusion!Kallen), but we can still use them and they keep getting suits/clothes/etc. Sakura at least has an in-game excuse by using Mei's body, but Kallen shouldn't even be able to do that with Kiana's considering she's 100 % dead. So no worries there.
