I close my eyes and I'm listening to Bill Frissell. I watch another video and I'm listening to Dickie Betts, etc. etc. The man's mastery is superb and sublime.
I’ve played guitar since about 1956, but I’m a big fan of players too. I’ve seen Benson, Howard Roberts, Tal Farlow, Les Paul, Ellis, etc live. Jack is up there in talent with any of them.
Pearson is the best of all time simply because he could play as well as anyone you mentioned then go play as well as any country, rock or blues player - those other guys can't do that. Pearson is a freak of nature and we're lucky to have been on the planet at the same time he is! :)
Crazy good. That man - without going just mechanical - does the most easy going, fluid and elegant fretting hand moves I've ever seen... (and I've seen some).
@@pallhe He started his own channel when quarantine started. he does a series called Home Skoolin' and it's just absolutely amazing. check this one out: ruclips.net/video/50Emolhmhtg/видео.html
He plays like a million bucks and just so happens to do it on a Squier, or an Epiphone in this case, or whatever he gets his hands on. Fun fact, I listened to an interview with him where he said he picks up his Squier Strats in pawn shops for about $75. He said when he was growing up, good cheap guitars didn’t exist. He said he loves the Squiers because they are lightweight.
Yes he does. It does not matter what guitar Jack plays, he can make at tin can and rubber bands sound like at 57 Les Paul gold top. Yes, Jack is that good
Jack is a bad example, because if you try to get good in as many styles of guitar playing as he is, you will just SUCK at all of them-there just are not enough hours in a lifetime to achieve his supernatural skill level.

King Of Budget Guitar . 👍🏻
Killin’ it Jack. The most underrated guitarist, along with Clint Strong. Such an inspiration

There just isn't any style this guy can't play like he owns it .. for all that amazing talent and ability he seems like a remarkably humble guy too.
do you play blues, funk, rock, jazz, gypsy jazz, and country?
Jack Pearson: yes
Jack Pearson is a Master! There is nothing he can't play! 👏
A Nashville treasure!!!
I sure wish he would start play live again. I miss Jack!
This is heaven ! Love it 😊
This is absolutely great
That kicked serious butt...

Jack is just plain amazing.
Monster!!!!
Jack Pearson is my new hero.
I'm convinced he's the best guitarist on the planet. Well, him and Tom Bukovac.

I wish I lived in Nashville so I could take lessons from him
unbelievable
Smooth as silk!
Insanely good.
Astounding
This guy is a Giant .. phenomenal player
Perfect!
This is great!
Outstanding playing and wonderful tone!
Dickey Betts told the other members of The Allman Brothers Band "if you don't bring him on I'll start taking lessons from him", so they hired him.
Jack owns music. Whatever style it may be . And he seems as a very lovely person as well.. that’s not a surprise if you can play like that though..
JACK IS FUCKING SICK - PROBABLY THE MOST UNDERRATED GUITAR PLAYER IN THE FUCKING WORLD TODAY..
Yeah Baby!
I believe he uses a $200 Squier Strat and makes it sound like a million bucks.

Strat?
@@gregormarini He does ALSO use a Squier Strat he found used in a shop. This is Epiphone Casino, pretty cheap guitar too :)

Hey camara guy...the mic stand...
Ha no shit!
Reminds me a little of Joe Pass
What brand is that guitar?
Epiphone
Epiphone Casino, essentially the same as a Gibson ES-330. Lots are now being made in Asia.

Mr Legato
Epiphone
However much the tickets for this show cost? It was a steal!!
It was $9 at the Station Inn in the Gulch in Nashville
