As a warrior, just knock the big monsters down, jump on their head and press Y. It is by far the most fun execution move and it does huge damage.
Two minutes of sponsors and you didn't even cover all of the classes skills. Tidal Wrath and Whirlwind Slash are both insane and you didn't even mention them
Just tried out Warrior today and now I'm hooked. I unlocked it and then went to fight a cyclops, it's so much fun to chain stagger and stun enemies.
I normally dont play warrior type characters in games but i mained warrior in this and man is it satisfying. Getting a perfect charged uppercut on a cyclops and knocking it down then slamming your sword/hammer on its head is 🤌
Right?! The Warrior feels slow, but when you land those massive attacks its very satisfying.

Absolutely loving the warrior class in this game. Vast improvement over DD1, imo.
How so?
@Dossa8 Barge adds a nice, quick combo extender, of sorts, to weave into your attacks, in addition to the core skill that rewards timing your square/X move. Almost all your moves being chargeable for more dmg adds a bit of depth, too. The finishing moves with the triangle/Y button. It just feels overall more badass than in DD1. It feels, to me, like a somewhat simplified version of Monster Hunter Greatsword, which I loved.
I didn't play the warrior at all I think in DD1. Strider or bust lol.
@@norzza I don't blame ya. Warrior was, sadly, the "worst" class in that game. Hardest to play, at least, due to their super slow nature and the overall clunkiness of the class.

it’s not slow at all if u have the rapid swing skill, it’s actually pretty damn fast
Btw if you got the buffs from cooking at camps arc doesnt leave you out of stamina. The buffed stamina stat doesnt get used by the skill. Have funn 😊
Warrior with the decreased knockback ring, large knockback resist gear, and full dwarven smithed gear jusy makes you stand strong against any enemy lmao.
Ok I'm doing all this tomorrow. Got it max level and I love playing it, but that move to knock them off-balance looks great and I don't have it selected. I pretty much only use the jump-up attack and the AoE slash but that roar combined with the that knock-back move should open up some more versatility. I alsp need to get the Maister skill. Seems very strong for single-target situations like bosses. I'm a Greatsword main on Monster Hunter and before this, I played Fighter and then Mystic Spearhand. Neither of them clicked for me at any point. I need meaty hits with enormous blades and hammers and see that health bar get demolished by them. I was about to quit playing but when I discovered Warrior, I got completely addicted. When everything clicks, this game is actually amazing. The exploration is great, the loot is awesome and the combat is so good once you know what you're doing

After running Thief, switching to Warrior took a little getting used to, but I feel very powerful when i get those heavy hits off. 💪

Exactly. Where is Cylopean Thunder and Cinderspine? Thrashers Surcoat for gear as well. Those items are what you need on a warrior.
