      you'd be surprised at what can be done with just photoshop, i have extensive 3d modeling as well as photoshop experience myself. I would not be surprised if he did not 3d model the house and is just skilled in photoshop collaging techniques. Especially since many of the weird and akward qualities of the sketch (ie the stairs leading into front face wall of the upper patio) are not altered or changed, if one was modeling this in sketchup you'd probably resolve it in the process of modeling it. Also the perspective is still spot on from the sketch.. itd be pretty tricky to get it that close.

    The first one looks the most professional for any big architectural presentation, in my opinion, I like the style and vibe of the illustration. 100$ would probably be ok, too. 2-3 hours work for a studied professional. Did he/she do it in 15 minutes? It would make 20$ an hour. Soooo cheap. Fiverr must be great for 3rd world countries, there 5$ is something, I couldn't do it for 5 $ in Germany, I would probably need 2-4 hours to do something like this, but I am not specialized in this field... The $5 is quite easily the best, and also clearly put way more time and care into the visual. I think it's sad that people offer so little to put out a visual (even $30 is nothing), but then again the platform is great for people looking for opportunities to build a portfolio.

    • @olivierl2172
      @olivierl2172 4 года назад

      Same for me. I think it depends on the countries. I think in the US you may be used to have a more "open" front since you have large front yards and wide streets anyway. But in Europe (for example) the front of the house is often "closed" and "hidden", so this would obviously be a back yard.

    I liked the $5 and $30c
    Both of them were fantastic
    The $5 had a really great graphics representation and the improvements he made to your sketch were really good and the way he understood was fantastic. It can also be used as a logo if the house was a type of club house or a gathering place for a bunch of friends.
    And then $30c was again the perfect one
    The way he used parametrics and the colours
    I just wonder what software do they use for it and then again the alterations he made to your design were worth
    He really paid off with that kind of design and he was actually an experienced designer i guess.
    Rest of them were not bad but yeah kinda not that good as these two. 🤗

    For the price you should be very happy about the results. I am an architect btw and does not really agree with your assessment of quality at all but hey, I guess it is subjective. The gloomy one had the highest quality but yes, it didnt really feature the house, the last one was dull but clean while the first one was really good for the price! A shame to pay only 5-30$ for creative work that surely took longer than 1 hour after years and years of education but there is also a lesson here for us architects that most normal people doesnt care about the small details we care about and by taking a very long time to produce some drawings then we set ourselves up for working long hours with little pay and if we were trying to be less creative and more efficient we probably would get better paid!

    the first guy outdid himself with the given amount. he should be paid more for that. the fisherman image was really well done (if he actually photoshopped everything else in together) but it's kinda a shame that he put the house into the background. the last guy really put effort into the extra detailed design and the house seems like a different house. plus the other graphics has a very good unity like you mentioned, beginning with the colours, and the people. i personally don't like the people/ plants being different style in the same shot, unless it's obviously a collage like that.
