When I was a poolman, you stopped in front of 2 of my former customer's houses from 20:51-20:56, the one with the circular drive, and the one to the right of it. I grew up in the San Fernando Valley, so I easily recognize the area. Nice vlog, thank you!

Passed the house from the Netflix show "Dead to Me" at 1:24:17 on Deervale Drive; it's on the right with the white mailbox out front. One of my favorite TV homes in the LA area.
I used to live in Sherman Oaks for over 20 years and I love it so much. I mees that city so much

@@AndrewBlumke it’s a little pricey but really all of Cali is overpriced. The valley is probably my favorite part of the greater Los Ángeles area . Still close to LA, Hollywood , I used to go right through the canyons to the beach
@@wavybaby4439 oh I know it’s pricey asl 😂 I’ve had a huge unhealthy obsession wit Cali specifically LA since like 13. It was Florida prior to Cali, then I realized GTA5 was based on LA so I freaked tf out when I realized there was a place in the US containing mountains AND palm trees 😂😂😭

If you pause the video at 31:22 you see the offset of the yellow centerline, this was a result of the Jan, 17, 1994 Northridge earthquake. A miniature fault runs through there. I took a picture at that exact spot, but looking west right after the quake. in 1994.

These houses are not that expensive ... Seattle has caught up . You can still buy one for $900.000 to 2 million which for L.A is a normal price . I was born and raised there . After the 1994 earthquake people moved out and prices dropped

That was the ultimate fate of the Hanna-Barbera studio in the late 1990s, when the headquarters moved to this location at the Sherman Oaks Gallery in 1998, which lasted until 2001, when the studio was absorbed and closed.

It's in LAPD jurisdiction. As of now and for the years ahead they are on "A slowdown". It's a form of strike.

Sherman Oaks is very safe, one of the very best, if not the best neighborhood in Los Angeles. South of Ventura Blvd are fancy homes, north are regular family housing. The “apartments” mention at the beginning of the tour are actually million dollar condominiums.

That is certainly an Indian man's accent. Indian from INDIA I mean. There are so many Indian in our city here in the Philippines and their English accent sounds like that.

LOL 1:06:00 he was disgusted by the average vehicles outside of modest yet marketable homes. Some of them will be paying mortgages till the day they die. Inflation prevents luxury living
The roads are horrible because the state of California is going bankrupt . We moved out of Cali , a few years ago . It got so bad with crime . Unless you can afford private school for your 5 year old at $20,000 a year per kid . We had 3 kids and sent them to private school in Sherman Oaks ..
No way CA is going bankrupt. They literally have one of the highest GDP in the world!
