I remember when my dad had a Gold 83 cutlas and my mom had a baby blue 86 cutlas, there's nothing like that V8 rumble that put me to sleep as a kid. Even if it was factory stock haha.
At the 2017 LS Fest in Bowling Green Ky. We did 7 passes with street tires.I targeted the 14 sec. bracket.We ran the car in True Street Class........Since I have never drag raced I wanted to take it easy for my first time and get to know the car.So after 4 test passes the competition was on.1st pass was 13.886, 2nd pass 13.831, and 14.098.When you add up the times and divide by 3 that's how the track determines your time.....I broke out of the 14 second bracket by.062 of a second too fast.Winning time that day for the 14 sec. bracket was 14.222
We just added another video of the LS3 Hurst at Beach Bend Drag Way. We were bracket racing with street tires. I'm sure to do better in the future with some drag radials.

It's great that these cars already have a decent rear axle. The 8.5" 10 bolt like the Grand national. This car isnt putting doe 555 Hp but stilll manages 12.60s with slicks and open headers. Have you had your Hurst Olds to the track ?

+Chevyfanaddict427 -Thanks for the comment.Headers were custom built by Wegner Motorsports as well as the front engine accessory drive.Going to install complete front end kit this week,A arms,springs,shocks etc.
+Anubitipo -Yes lightning rods are installed and working,Since everything is now new (ECM/TCM)-we had to change out the dash cluster.We went with Dakota Digital.

No,because we bought a rear end from Quick Performance with mounting locations for a G-Body,but now we did a double adjustable coil over- QA1,Global West boxed upper and lower control arms and Hotchkis rear sway bar.

Oh, this could be so sleeper with an Olds 440 small block dropped in with a built 200r4 behind it. Great build still though, I would have preferred to keep it all Oldsmobile though.

Had a brand new 1983 H/O, was a very pretty car, but the engine and trans was trouble. Kept braking down. Car looked showroom New when I traded it in 4 years later.

Hello,yes the lightning rods are in it.Just had to fab a bracket for the mounting of them.They work as they should.

+Tjfreak Starter is GM. as the motor was out of my 2010 Camaro SS.No heat shield.
