This is truly the “Golden Age” of handguns. The choices available in any price range are outstanding.
If you ask me, right now the best value handgun is CZ P-10c for $300-400 dollars. Really great value.
Beretta apx a1 tactical might beat that its like $380, 21rd mags, thredded barrel, optics cut etc
Facts
Yeah, but you can get Caniks cheap in any form factor. Even their competitioon ready models are budget friendly.
Or the Stoeger 9mc, which uses a lot of parts of great guns from $250-$300 after rebate right now!
@@similaritiesendhereabsolutely love my caniks.
PSA Dagger....any of the 3 sizes
I've had mine a couple of years now.
Been my edc for about a year.
Can't beat it for $300.
I have one also and I don't like glocks. I have found that PSA improved on the so called glock perfection at least in ergonomics.
CZ P-01 is a great handgun for the price.
CZ P10c or P10s and let's not forget their P07. Great quality at an amazing price.
Nothing beats the CZ P10C or P07
Ditto
I have both however P07 is my favorite ❤️
Sticking with my Beretta 92F. Probably forever! Thanks Dan.
Huh? Missing the whole game maybe Dan?lol

I like the Canik.
The CZ P-10 series can be had for under $400 in my area. The CZ-P09can be had for $469, again, in my area
P10C is frequently on sale for $299-329 every few months.
about 5 years ago I bought a CZ P-09 in 40s&w for $449 New ...
Ruger max9 comes with a crimson trace red dot for under $400. 12+1 very compact with Ruger reliability and a warranty that can be serviced domestically. better bang for your buck imo
I don’t like the Max9 but Ruger customer service is untouchable
Yes the max 9 is nice! And affordable
Beretta apx a1 full size. Love my original apx, and the full size a1 takes the same mags, is optic cut, and with rebate can be found for 299.00.
Yea, I’ve fired a full size and centurion model and both are fantastic for the price.
Canik is amazing with a massive variety and price points. Taurus continues to lead in the budget and mid-level tool line. Again, many options. The Bersa (for me) would be a definite contender due to quality and da/sa...if it came with a plate option on full size and compact. Glad for the many options.
Been a Bersa fan since the 90s. 😊
Bera tpr9c kicks ass, ive had 4
Taurus and canik hands down
I like the TPR9c.
I have both the TPR9 and the TPR9C excellent guns, I believe I paid 380 for the compact and 425 for the full size.
When it comes to short reset I tough the Bersa had the shortest until I bought a Grand Power K100 X-Trim. I just compared the Grand Power to the Bersa and my P229 with SRT and this is what I come up with.
Grand Power has the shortest reset and TPR9 and P229 are tide for second.
When I pull my 229 next to my Bersa TpR9C, the Bersa is slightly better. Some people don’t like how far the trigger goes though
👍👍Thanks Dan, I really appreciate all the firearms you’ve featured over the years. There’s many that I would have never known about if I had not found your channel a few years ago. I appreciate all you do.
Love this channel, thanks for sharing !
Thanks so much Terry
For the price it's hard to beat Canik or CZ P10c IMO for budget friendly. SW MP 2.0 Shield.
Picked up a CZ P09 a while back for 299. I'd have to go with that!
Man that is a deal.
I'd like to get one too but I'm wondering how bad the trigger is. 🤔
@andyjohnson6855 the triggers are fine. If you can shoot you can shoot that gun well
@@mattr918 Right, trigger is not a problem. I sent it to Cajun and had them cut the slide for an optic. Friggin love that thing. I keep it in a chest rig when I'm out on the bike or hiking. Holds damn near a half a box of shells!
Yo Danno, you did it again. Good video.
The Taurus for sure ! I have the Taurus G3 and shot over 500+ rounds and it’s been very good to me . First gun owner here ! Recently turned 21 in Jan
Great choice. Thank you Sir.
I agree with you Dan , i have the Bersa tpr9c and the reset is the shortest of all da/sa pistol , i have a lot of success with turkish made handgun like the Sar b6c , tisas zigana px9 , sar cm9 gen2 and they are budget priced.
Easy: CZ P10C OR, MSRP $449.
Actually picked one up for $350 from PSA last year. Couldn’t pass it up
@freedomlineman3105 That's a great price!. I got mine several years ago for $599....and even at that price it is my favorite striker fired pistol (especially after I installed an HBI trigger and Cajun Gum Works Performance Package). In fact, I bought two of them.
Nice firearms 😀🇺🇸
Wrong
Yeah ...good pick the new gx4carry is better but I love my p10
Another Great Video 💯💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
I bought my Glock 19 in 1985, it is the best most dependable firearm I own. Have no interest in changing it.
Nice looking Bersa. They're a good econo model.
I go with the Canik. I love the trigger and how easily I hear and/or feel the short reset. The Bersa looks great. I've always wanted a hammer fired gun.
I have the TPR9C and the Thunder 380 as a BUG. Bersa is definitely an underrated and often overlooked brand. The only issues i had from the start were with super cheap and dirty range ammo. Once I stopped using that garbage both guns have been 100% reliable. As always thanks for another great video.
Got my p10c for under $400 a year ago. It's a great piece for sure. P07 as well, both awesome
That's a good group of pistols. I'd add that at the moment, with a $100 manufacturer's rebate, you can get the Beretta APX A1 for $249 + shipping from some sites. I think that price should put it on the radar of anyone who's looking for a polymer, striker-fired pistol right now. The Bersa TPR9 is definitely a VERY good gun if you're looking for a metal-framed pistol. I had a TPR9C for a bit and it was an awesome gun with an amazing trigger. The single action trigger pull on that thing was insanely good. In the end it lost out to the CZ P-01 Omega and I ended up having to sell it, but if I could've figured out a way to keep it, I would've.
You are right to include the Taurus G series in the list. I have no experience with the others, but have heard good things about them.
I carry the SAR9 with a Shepard Tactical recoil spring. No malfunctions and very accurate with 124g.
thanks man
Bersa has always been really slept on. I'm a big fan of bersa thunder plus. Keep up the great work👍🏽
Always like your reviews. I went with an M&P 9 years ago and a Shield in 9 and I am not in the habit of changing guns just because something else came on to the market.
I love your choice Dan. I have the TPR9 and TPR9c. It also has something the others don't offer, a metal frame. Talon grips makes a nice grip set for it. Cross Breed makes nice holsters for it.
I'm really liking the Canik pistols. From the subcompact to the long barrel ones.
Thanks
I recently added the G3. It's now my favorite.
Nice firearms👍👍
Good call with the TPR. Those are great. Also the Beretta PX4 series could be a good contender? Love that rotating barrel
Dan u are correct! I wish I'd have got one a few years back!
I've shot the TP9 Elite. Very nice. But went with the G3 Tactical. Excellent gun. Can compete with any striker gun on the market.
Great minds think alike. I have all that you mentioned. My Bersa is a laser. The G3 is a great daily shooter. My bersa is a little heavy for daily carry. Liked it do much, bought the thunder 380 double stack.
You got me Dan, I have the g3c, the mete mc9 and the sar. Then you whip out the bersa. I might have to do some shopping 😮
As always...well done Dan. Bersa and Taurus make great value firearms. If you are on a tight budget, they are worth a look.
I have the tp9 elite SC in a sick bronze cerakote. Love it
The Canik tp9 elite sc is probably the best gun for the money to me. Great choices, great video Dan.
Man I have the Bersa Thunder and it's fallen from my boat into saltwater and is my Tackle Box gun and every time I take it to the range it is flawless!!
APX baby…. I do love me some hammer fired tho
Based on your reviews Dan, I recently got a Kahr CW9 Kryptek camo for a listed price of $228. Shoots great at the ranges one might expect to have to use it and it solved my long time problem of finding a handgun I can comfortably carry concealed. All that makes it the best value in my book.
Grand Power P11 was my best for the money. $328.49
Oh man, that Sig is Beautiful!
I bought me a Bersa BP 9cc great gun
Very nice
I'd vote for any of the CZ P10 series, or any of the PSA Daggers.
The newest pistol I have is the Bul Armory Axe C Hatchet. It is about $600 but it is fantastic! It is absolutely loaded with features and comes with an upgraded trigger, and the grip texture, the slide cuts and ability to shoot it smooth and flat, it is without question worth the money!!
Thats a bold pick my man..👍
It's a cool gun for sure
I think the shortest reset I’ve ever felt is my Canik TP9v2.
About a year ago (maybe longer, as I get older I lose track of time) the SAR Mete was being sold with a Riton red dot for under $350. That was a really good deal.
Dagger!
Best handgun for me is a metal frame bigger than 9mm job. Great review, lots to think about.
Tisas 1911.
Tisas PX9!
Nice. I'm looking at the Taurus TH9 Compact. I like DA/SA hammer fired guns with a thumb safety. And a good price. They now have a TH10 but it's only full size. Nice gun for camping in bear country.
Love my tpr9cc, had some rough edges during the break in period, but it all smoothed out near 200 rounds. Im not a massive fan of the trigger, it took a little getting used too, but after some shooting ive come to like it. Now i just wish mags were easier to get for it.
Indeed very subjective! So many variables income level being the biggest determining factor.
Ooh bersa! I picked up a uc thunder 45 acp in 2012 for a little over $300 one of the best handguns i have ever owned. Smooth shooter , never refused any ammo, everything nice and tight, and felt good in the hand. My favorite feature is the international trigger lock. I gifted it to my younger brother in 2017 when I purchased my Ruger American compact 9 mm. I have regrets. The Ruger doesn't even compare to the bursa.
Thanks for another awesome video! Hope you have a wonderful day!
Gotta love an under-rated pistol like TRP-9. I heavily regret parting ways with the two Thunder 45s i owned many years back. What was I thinking:(
Any canik. My favorite is still the tp9da, a true single double action striker fired pistol with a decocker
PSA Dagger starting about $300.
Had mine for a little over 2 yrs now.
Been in my edc rotation for about a year now.
I would say best bang for your buck if you catch em on sale are the Beretta APX line of pistols. But there are dozens of $25-$350 striker-fired polymer-framed pistols that work just fine. My personal favorite affordable pistol is the Girsan Regard. The Sarsilmaz SAR 9 also has run flawlessly.
Looks like a real beauty of a firearm.
I like them all!
I'm on the CZ P10c train. Hard to beat the amazing trigger. Not to mention the low price and high quality.
1911 Syndicate just did a cheap gun challenge with one of these Bersas and unfortunately it didn't go well. But he bought it used, who knows what the previous owners did to it.
Not a bad choice with the bersa but I choose the taurus g3 tactical. I picked up 2 of them for 299 beans each.
Thumbs up bro 👍👍
Of the few handguns I own, I've really become a fan of the Canik Elite SC and the MC9
Best for the $$ right now are the CZ-P10's (under $400 many places), Beretta APX A1 (can be had under $400), and I'd also suggest the Arex Delta G.2 series. Of course, you can also still find S&W Shield Plus's for pretty cheap out there as well, and they're rock solid also!
M and P 2.0 compact
Next to try on my bucket list.
Cz p10 nation
You can’t explain the Bersa TPR9C. It’s the best for $400. Best stock trigger on a sub 500 pistol ever
Agree 💯
You turn me on to Bersa during shot show... I'm kinda digging them, as a value play...
Sig P2022 350!
What do you think about the sig sp2022 ?
I love my Bersa TPR9C, paid $375 for it in 2019, holds 13 rounds and carries so well…..
Out of all the pistols in my arsenal I carry the cheapest more than most! And that's my lcp2. Small, lightweight, and no printing whatsoever. Almost forget it's there. With the right ammo and a good shot placement it's more than adequate to get the job done!
I like those Bersa's!
It's definitely not my choice . I would go with Smith wesson Shield 2.0 or even Plus. Secondly, it would be a Canik hands down.
PSA Dagger threaded compact that comes with 5 27rd mags and 5 15rd magazines that are compatible with my glock 19 and keltec sub 2k. $450
My choice is the Berrtta APX A1 compact 9mm . (Not the carry. I don't like) $499 with $100 off. Then a $100 rebate for limited time. =$299. Just picket from my FFL today. It's made in Italy. 2.15R mags. Hi viz front sites. Great grip texture. Great design. Just a thought. I didn't need it. I wanted it. 😊 Thanks for the review. 😊
Hi Point Yeet Canon for the win.
I got my canik tp9 Elite subcompact for $350 bucks. Absolutely the best pistol for the money.
I find that the CZ brand has superior build quality to most others for the price.🤔
sar 9t $287.from psa. love it ! shoots flat too!
You have always l9ved this pistol
Ruger Security 9!
Not a bad pick
That's another great example! Mine is a superb gun for low $$
