I was once a Catholic and converted to an Evangelical when I discovered the discrepancies and lies that were taught to me when I was a Catholic which includes praying to the saints, dividing the 10 commandments and omitting the 2nd commandment of worship/praying to idols and other things. Through the 10 years of being an Evangelical, they taught me that the gift of tongues is from the Holy Spirit, when you are Baptized by the Holy Spirit you receive the gift and you start speaking tongues. I thought I received it because in the beginning they explained that you can hear it in your dreams or thoughts, etc (what you need to say or speak)… and so I did. I was practicing that for years especially when the pastors tell the congregation to “pray in the heavenly language”. But especially in the last few years of being an Evangelical, I would get distracted by some people in church when they pray in tongues even when I pray with them until I felt weird listening to them. It felt and sounded like some sort of voodoo incantation which I didn’t realize before. Eventually, something happened to my life personally and my spiritual health went downhill. It affected my life in every area. I decided to leave where I was and decided to leave the church. In the course of my healing I learned about the truth about tongues, the truth about the Sabbath, the 10 commandments and others and learned more and more about the Scriptures. I thank God for His revelation. I shared these with some people I know from the same church and obviously they looked at me like some fanatic and legalistic person or someone deceived by another church doctrine when I told them about tongues and the importance of the 10 commandments to this day. One even tried to argue about the scriptures with me saying that she has been studying the Bible for the last (now 14 years). I’ve tried to explain as best as I could but they are so closed minded to the doctrine of that church that they would not even want to listen and analyze if what is being said is true or not. I believe that they have “cancelled” me from this church. But I don’t take it against them. What is important is I know the truth and I tried sharing it with those who do not know. And I agree with what you said brother, aliens are really fallen angels. Many people especially the people in government who are lying and saying there are aliens. They just make it look like there are other life forms. There was a testimony by someone who almost got abducted by an alien but when he shouted the name of Jesus, the alien disappeared. I watched in on the internet.
What you say is very true! Thank you for your testimony. I didn't feel comfortable with tongues either. It's the interpretations that concerned me most, no warnings about the times we're in, particular verses of scripture to teach and study, no instructions to go and help people that are in need. Just all rainbows and unicorns! If you believe the firmament is a solid structure that only God has the ability to open, then a lot of things start to make more sense. Some deceptions are also exposed and require further study!
I got my prayer language in my head first and started speaking it 3 months ago. It is legit and my entire life is changed. I quit drugs, smoking, secular music, Watching certain movies, I tool a vow of purity. I still struggle with Vaping but my hunger for Jesus is through the roof.i quit cursing , drinking, hanging out with certain people

The Bible is clear about speaking in, and the interpretation of tongues. There must be two or three witnesses present; one must be able to interpret the 'tongue'. If there is no interpreter, the person speaking 'must' remain silent, for the 'tongue' is for themself and God. "Don't be given over to doubtful disputations."

Well, I have heard the audible voice of God. And when he spoke to me, he spoke in my language English. He didn't speak to me in some other language and I had to have an interpreter. But I understood him in my language what he said to me.

Biblical speaking in tongues is NOT gibberish. It's other languages for the express purpose of spreading the gospel into foreign nations. It's not a private prayer language. Read 1 Acts 2, Acts 10, and Acts 19. 1 Corinthians 14. Biblical tongues was a gift meant to establish the church by spreading the gospel in the native language of the listener. It stopped when the new testament was completed. There is no need for this gift anymore. I spoke in "tongues" until God showed me it was of the flesh and demonic. As I was praying about this particular subject, I was lead to this: Before Babel, all spoke the same language (imagine an Apple as a whole representing a whole language) after Babel, all were cursed with different languages (imagine an apple being split into slices and each slice representing a different language) I was led to understand that the gift of tongues that was given on Pentecost was that whole language, which would help them to preach the gospel to all nations (so all understand). Paul also said that when one is given a gift of tongues, there should be a translator who would interpret the language to all (not all can possess this gift). You see churches nowadays forcing jibber-jabber onto all and no one interprets what they are saying. Paul also said that if there is not an interpreter, the one who has a gift of tongues should be silent.

Hello Tila, I have personally witnessed church worshipers speaking in tongues on several occasions decades apart. They sounded very similar or identical whenever this language was spoken. Being multi-lingual myself, speaking 4 languages and a traveler, I recognize languages quickly even ones I do not speak. The heavenly language I've heard did NOT sound like the clips you showed in this video. I witnessed this several times in a church I attended in Tehran Iran decades ago, and also here in America 6 or 7 years ago by completely different individuals. It sounds like Assyrian (the language Jesus spoke), but is not. I do not speak Assyrian, but my wife is Assyrian and she was with me here in the US and she did not understand it either. So it's not Assyrian. On all occasions, this language erupted during group worship prayer and was loud enough for all to hear without any mics. In Iran, I do not remember if anyone translated the spoken words. I remember only that it was not scarry, and assumed it was the continuation of praising the Lord in the heavenly language. Here in the US another random worshiper translated the message to English. I instantly recognized the spoke language being the exact same as what I heard in Iran. On another note: My understanding is that when angels speak we should understand them without translation. Where as, when man speaks in tongues, a translation is required.

In the US it was Bethel Church in San Jose CA located on Winchester Blvd , at the time under the leadership of pastor Bret Allen. Just an update: The church in Tehran was confiscated by the Islamic régime and torn down about 10 years ago. Many Armenians, Assyrians and Iranians attended the church. It was the only church open to all who accepted Christ. The Islamic regime forbids Muslims from converting, and thus many lost their lives. Others who were Armenian or Assyrian were imprisoned for conspiracy to convert Muslims, and some of those individuals were murdered too. The church would often get raided by the 'religious police'. Baptisms would take place in the basement under a false floor where there was a small in-ground pool maybe 8'x10' in size. This situation is still intense in Iran, specially in the capitol - Tehran. We all are very blessed in America and most don't even realize it. Prosecution of Christians is free game in some countries even today, like it was 2000 years ago.
There were, and I think still are, at least 2 other churches in Iran that are Orthodox. But those churches were Armenian-only or Assyrians-only and would not let anyone else in. I don't have much info on those churches as they do not follow the word of God, and we did not attend them. Satan loves those who skew the word of God, thus leaving them alone. But attacks those who are true to the word of God.

Yes when Ángels speak to humans obviously they will speak in a language we understand. The questions I have are what language does God speak to the angels and what language did He speak to Adam and Eve? What did they speak to Him? There was no Hebrew or any other known language then. Different languages happened after the Tower of Babel. Also the Bible speaks about us speaking in an unknown tongue where we are communicating directly with God and it edifies us. If we don’t know what or how Angelic language is??….How can u say he spoke coherently to John??…. We can’t assume that Angelic language is any type of language humanly known. The words were translated by John to the be written, while the Angel spoke. So however the Angel spoke is irrelevant, because if it were God would of let it be known.

The Holy Spirit who motivates and speaks through the Christian is the Spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ, Witches and Hindus counterfeit tongues are motivated or driven by demons 1 Cor 1:7 they are led or motivated by demons. Ok there are just so many reasons to speak in tongues. First most is because when you speak in tongues the Holy Spirit speaks through you to the Father praying for you in ways and for things you don't even know that you need. It is allowing God to pray through you what he knows you need to pray for. You can use your own limited intellect and pray for maybe something or you can let God pray through you for what you really need and participate in his purposes for others as well. Human languages are limited to human expression, Tongues has no such limitations.

If you are reading the KJV you will notice that "unknown" is in italics, in the margin or glossary or in the foreword there should be an explanation that italized words were added by the interpreter to assist the reader. So unknown in this instance would mean "unknown" to the rest of the people you are speaking with. All italized word in scripture were added to help the reader to understand further when it was translated from Hebrew to English.

Many will be deceived in these last days. Jesus said when the wind blows you hear the sound thereof so when the Holy Ghost comes in contact with this body…But like the Lord said you don’t argue this point shake the dust off your feet and move on. Praying in tongues is not babbling. Praying the same prayer over and over and over again, is babbling. That’s what the Catholic Church does. It’s not the same thing.
Praying in tongues is not speaking human languages. It sounds like babbling or incoherent speech, like syllables joined together one after another. There is also counterfiet tounges, but that can be evidenced through the person speaking it not having been baptised in the Holy Spirit but has another spirit. I don't know what Catholic church practice you are referring to. Catholics, unless they are charismatic catholics usually pray in their human language.

I was filled with the gift of speaking in other languages while giving birth to my daughter on the hospital bed. I was in so much pain I must have called Jesus name over 1000 times. I had never experienced anything like this before. I saw my body walk through fire as if I was in an alley. Suddenly, I was filled. This was unexplainable but this could be no other but God. Afterward I went to 10 centimeters and felt no pain, no epidural either. My baby was born in Fire🔥. Another time I was praying in the spirit with a group holding hands and I was told I was pleading the blood of Jesus in the Latin Language. So, this is a gift from God and until one experience this they will never understand. I still pray in other tongues when lead to. Sometimes in deep communion with God it’s not planned, it flows when worshipping fluently. The word says that I would like every one of you to speak in tongues, but I would rather have you prophesy. He who prophesies is greater than one who speaks in tongues, unless he interprets, so that the church may be edified. 1st Corinthians 14:5
Well there's your problem. You don't worship Him in Truth and you call on Him 1000 times as if you believe He doesn't hear you. Read your Bible and pray the Holy Spirit guides your studies. Your experiences do not supersede the WORD of GOD.

Speaking in tongues may or may not be from the Holy Spirit, depending on a number of other criteria, but Biblical tongues are NOT human languages and never were. Paul says "If I pray in tongues, NO ONE UNDERSTANDS ME" so they can't be human languages. And why would he say "If you pray in tongues they will think you are mad". You might not be able to understand human languages, but they are NOT speaking in tongues. He who speaks in a tongue speaks not to men but to God. This requires the intellect of a 6 year old to understand, so if you don't get it, you have a problem. I have a number of videos on this on my channel. Yes, there are tongues of demons. I had a dream in late July of a male reptilian humanoid hunting for 2 women whom I was trying to protect although they did not know Christ. When I saw the reptilian humanoid demon (the women called him "the bounty hunter") searching for them, I called upon the name of the Lord and told him that humans will inherit the earth and not demons. In reply, he said something briefly in his demon tongues and miraculously I understond his words (the words physically appeared before me of what he was saying--that is "Life sober") and I said in response "I know that I am sober". When he realized that I understood what he said, he tried to instill fear in me by saying "well, I can read your mind." I didn't care; I was ready to attack.

Speaking in foreign tongues how will you know if it's real or acting? The people you showed here looks to me like they are acting. Also, if no one can translate what is said then what is the purpose? God does nothing without a purpose so in my mind if there is no one present that can translate what is said, then it is not real but only acting by attention seekers.
To my understanding, there are two types of speaking in tongues or rather two times. One is when there is someone present who has the gift of interpreting tongues and they are to interpret and tell the people present in the church when it happens. The other time is when we are in prayer and the gift of tongues comes over us and it is a private conversation with God.

It affected my life in every area. I decided to leave where I was and decided to leave the church. In the course of my healing I learned about the truth about tongues, the truth about the Sabbath, the 10 commandments and others and learned more and more about the Scriptures. I thank God for His revelation. I shared these with some people I know from the same church and obviously they looked at me like some fanatic and legalistic person or someone deceived by another church doctrine when I told them about tongues and the importance of the 10 commandments to this day. One even tried to argue about the scriptures with me saying that she has been studying the Bible for the last (now 14 years). I’ve tried to explain as best as I could but they are so closed minded to the doctrine of that church that they would not even want to listen and analyze if what is being said is true or not. I believe that they have “cancelled” me from this church. But I don’t take it against them. What is important is I know the truth and I tried sharing it with those who do not know.
And I agree with what you said brother, aliens are really fallen angels. Many people especially the people in government who are lying and saying there are aliens. They just make it look like there are other life forms. There was a testimony by someone who almost got abducted by an alien but when he shouted the name of Jesus, the alien disappeared. I watched in on the internet.
What you say is very true! Thank you for your testimony. I didn't feel comfortable with tongues either. It's the interpretations that concerned me most, no warnings about the times we're in, particular verses of scripture to teach and study, no instructions to go and help people that are in need. Just all rainbows and unicorns! If you believe the firmament is a solid structure that only God has the ability to open, then a lot of things start to make more sense. Some deceptions are also exposed and require further study!

I quit drugs, smoking, secular music, Watching certain movies, I tool a vow of purity. The Bible is clear about speaking in, and the interpretation of tongues. There must be two or three witnesses present; one must be able to interpret the 'tongue'. If there is no interpreter, the person speaking 'must' remain silent, for the 'tongue' is for themself and God. "Don't be given over to doubtful disputations."

Well, I have heard the audible voice of God. And when he spoke to me, he spoke in my language English. He didn't speak to me in some other language and I had to have an interpreter. But I understood him in my language what he said to me.

As I was praying about this particular subject, I was lead to this:
Before Babel, all spoke the same language (imagine an Apple as a whole representing a whole language)
after Babel, all were cursed with different languages (imagine an apple being split into slices and each slice representing a different language)
I was led to understand that the gift of tongues that was given on Pentecost was that whole language, which would help them to preach the gospel to all nations (so all understand).
Paul also said that when one is given a gift of tongues, there should be a translator who would interpret the language to all (not all can possess this gift). You see churches nowadays forcing jibber-jabber onto all and no one interprets what they are saying. Paul also said that if there is not an interpreter, the one who has a gift of tongues should be silent.

Hello Tila, I have personally witnessed church worshipers speaking in tongues on several occasions decades apart. They sounded very similar or identical whenever this language was spoken. Being multi-lingual myself, speaking 4 languages and a traveler, I recognize languages quickly even ones I do not speak. The heavenly language I've heard did NOT sound like the clips you showed in this video. I witnessed this several times in a church I attended in Tehran Iran decades ago, and also here in America 6 or 7 years ago by completely different individuals. It sounds like Assyrian (the language Jesus spoke), but is not. I do not speak Assyrian, but my wife is Assyrian and she was with me here in the US and she did not understand it either. So it's not Assyrian. On all occasions, this language erupted during group worship prayer and was loud enough for all to hear without any mics. In Iran, I do not remember if anyone translated the spoken words. I remember only that it was not scarry, and assumed it was the continuation of praising the Lord in the heavenly language. Here in the US another random worshiper translated the message to English. I instantly recognized the spoke language being the exact same as what I heard in Iran. On another note: My understanding is that when angels speak we should understand them without translation. Where as, when man speaks in tongues, a translation is required.

In the US it was Bethel Church in San Jose CA located on Winchester Blvd , at the time under the leadership of pastor Bret Allen. Just an update: The church in Tehran was confiscated by the Islamic régime and torn down about 10 years ago. Many Armenians, Assyrians and Iranians attended the church. It was the only church open to all who accepted Christ. The Islamic regime forbids Muslims from converting, and thus many lost their lives. Others who were Armenian or Assyrian were imprisoned for conspiracy to convert Muslims, and some of those individuals were murdered too. The church would often get raided by the 'religious police'. Baptisms would take place in the basement under a false floor where there was a small in-ground pool maybe 8'x10' in size. This situation is still intense in Iran, specially in the capitol - Tehran. We all are very blessed in America and most don't even realize it. Prosecution of Christians is free game in some countries even today, like it was 2000 years ago.
There were, and I think still are, at least 2 other churches in Iran that are Orthodox. But those churches were Armenian-only or Assyrians-only and would not let anyone else in. I don't have much info on those churches as they do not follow the word of God, and we did not attend them. Satan loves those who skew the word of God, thus leaving them alone. But attacks those who are true to the word of God.

Yes when Ángels speak to humans obviously they will speak in a language we understand. The questions I have are what language does God speak to the angels and what language did He speak to Adam and Eve? What did they speak to Him? There was no Hebrew or any other known language then. Different languages happened after the Tower of Babel. Also the Bible speaks about us speaking in an unknown tongue where we are communicating directly with God and it edifies us. The Greek word for Spirit is pneuma which means Holy Ghost. Please read all of 1 Cor 14. The verses above are impossible to explain away. Don't let Satan's counterfeit cause you to blaspheme the Holy Ghost. It's a trap.

Ok there are just so many reasons to speak in tongues. First most is because when you speak in tongues the Holy Spirit speaks through you to the Father praying for you in ways and for things you don't even know that you need. It is allowing God to pray through you what he knows you need to pray for. You can use your own limited intellect and pray for maybe something or you can let God pray through you for what you really need and participate in his purposes for others as well. Human languages are limited to human expression, Tongues has no such limitations.

If you are reading the KJV you will notice that "unknown" is in italics, in the margin or glossary or in the foreword there should be an explanation that italized words were added by the interpreter to assist the reader. So unknown in this instance would mean "unknown" to the rest of the people you are speaking with. All italized word in scripture were added to help the reader to understand further when it was translated from Hebrew to English.

Many will be deceived in these last days. Jesus said when the wind blows you hear the sound thereof so when the Holy Ghost comes in contact with this body…But like the Lord said you don’t argue this point shake the dust off your feet and move on. Praying in tongues is not babbling. Praying the same prayer over and over and over again, is babbling. That’s what the Catholic Church does. It’s not the same thing.
Praying in tongues is not speaking human languages. It sounds like babbling or incoherent speech, like syllables joined together one after another. There is also counterfiet tounges, but that can be evidenced through the person speaking it not having been baptised in the Holy Spirit but has another spirit. I don't know what Catholic church practice you are referring to. Catholics, unless they are charismatic catholics usually pray in their human language.

I was filled with the gift of speaking in other languages while giving birth to my daughter on the hospital bed. I was in so much pain I must have called Jesus name over 1000 times. I had never experienced anything like this before. I saw my body walk through fire as if I was in an alley. Suddenly, I was filled. This was unexplainable but this could be no other but God. Afterward I went to 10 centimeters and felt no pain, no epidural either. My baby was born in Fire🔥. Another time I was praying in the spirit with a group holding hands and I was told I was pleading the blood of Jesus in the Latin Language. So, this is a gift from God and until one experience this they will never understand. I still pray in other tongues when lead to. Sometimes in deep communion with God it’s not planned, it flows when worshipping fluently. The word says that I would like every one of you to speak in tongues, but I would rather have you prophesy. He who prophesies is greater than one who speaks in tongues, unless he interprets, so that the church may be edified.

Speaking in tongues may or may not be from the Holy Spirit, depending on a number of other criteria, but Biblical tongues are NOT human languages and never were. Paul says "If I pray in tongues, NO ONE UNDERSTANDS ME" so they can't be human languages. And why would he say "If you pray in tongues they will think you are mad". You might not be able to understand human languages, but they are NOT speaking in tongues. He who speaks in a tongue speaks not to men but to God. This requires the intellect of a 6 year old to understand, so if you don't get it, you have a problem. I have a number of videos on this on my channel. And cessationists are always saying really dumb stuff like "oh but who is interpreting" well you provide the interpretation then? No.. ok I didn' t think so. Yes, there are tongues of demons. I had a dream in late July of a male reptilian humanoid hunting for 2 women whom I was trying to protect although they did not know Christ. When I saw the reptilian humanoid demon (the women called him "the bounty hunter") searching for them, I called upon the name of the Lord and told him that humans will inherit the earth and not demons. In reply, he said something briefly in his demon tongues and miraculously I understond his words (the words physically appeared before me of what he was saying--that is "Life sober") and I said in response "I know that I am sober". When he realized that I understood what he said, he tried to instill fear in me by saying "well, I can read your mind." I didn't care; I was ready to attack.

Speaking in foreign tongues how will you know if it's real or acting? The people you showed here looks to me like they are acting. Also, if no one can translate what is said then what is the purpose? God does nothing without a purpose so in my mind if there is no one present that can translate what is said, then it is not real but only acting by attention seekers.
To my understanding, there are two types of speaking in tongues or rather two times. One is when there is someone present who has the gift of interpreting tongues and they are to interpret and tell the people present in the church when it happens. The other time is when we are in prayer and the gift of tongues comes over us and it is a private conversation with God.
How do you know you are saved? if you can know you are saved you can know that speaking to God in tongues is a real thing.
