Julie, the cobalt blue glass bottle is a Phillips Milk of Magnesia bottle. Chalky white liquid would be inside and it was taken for indigestion. My grandmother would put it in the refrigerator and chug right from the bottle. I have a few of them in different sizes and, of course, it reminds me of my grandmother.
The white patina on the brass is where they have been polished with Brasso and not buffed good enough to get the Brasso off. When the Brasso dries it is white!
The 3 glass candle on the brass bases and handblown by a couple in California, The bases didn't come with...just those 3 are purchased new would be well over $300.00. I have a set of 4 and I love them!!!! My husband gave them to me for my birthday several years ago....the are just so beautiful indoors and out. I also gave a set of them as a wedding gift to a family member. In both situations, they had been shipped by the artist and arrived in perfect shape. They are perfect inside and out. We use ours all the time. OMG! I also have the brass clam shell book ends, had them for probably over 35 years..... the winking Santa was part of a set of 4 that I bought around 1978 or 9. We used them every year. The one with the wink, is the one my daughter put out for Santa with the cookies.
I absolutely love that you are supporting Morgan! My daughter also has DS and I love seeing different opportunities open up for people with Special Needs. ❤
Girlie you are a skip and a jump away from 100k!! It's so fun watching you share your unique "Julie" aesthetic while you build such an awesome business! I'm not quite as into some of the "rusty crusties" that you love but I dont even care because your enthusiasm makes my day lol!!
Your Goodwill bin place is different than ours. They have the big bins in the room and they have a “start” time. Everyone lines up on the outer wall while they fill the bins and they ring a bell when it’s time to start shopping. And then it’s a free for all that reminds me of Black Friday shoppers. And there seems to always be a lot of people. But if you are aggressive you can get some good items.
Go from the inside with a knitting needle and pull it through, like we did with sweaters before everything became disposable. 😢 If it has a fabric lining forget my suggestion!
Hey girl-The four little clay looking things you said you found in the garage and terra cotta pot holders-so, turn it upside down from the way you have it in the video. See the little grooves cut in each one? Those four little things will hold up a terra cotta (or any kind) of pot or planter--they hold it up off the ground so it can drain. Cool, huh? I would've bought that little boy quilt--we always see the little girl ones but NEVER have I seen a little boy one and I would pay you double what they were asking. Just FYI if you ever see another one!
I love your estate sale shopping! I had little black shoes like the gold one with straps you got, too bad I didn’t know you then because I would have gotten that. I love the snowman pillows too!
I hope y'all enjoyed today's video. Julie, I was making and selling those “foot scrubbies” as I called them, on my soap website 30 YEARS AGO! Oh how things go around in cycles. Those little brown things you couldn’t identify may be a type of industrial drill bit. The bottom looks exactly like oil rig drill bits only in miniature.
Stippling is like the old french artists painted with dots. Can be tiny short hair stiff brush. Or even end of stick. They bounce fast with paint. That brush may be to texture walls like bouncing on mud coating.
@Julie The Santa mug is Japan (I have had some of these previously and they had the Japan tag on the bottom). Also recently I found a brush that had thick flat wires bristles instead of brush bristles. I said to myself "Julie would get it" so I did! 😊
That angel with wings is adorable!!!!!!!!!!! YES add a bird to the cloche. WOW The pillows are precious. OK loofa will make great christmas gifts!!! OH YEH
Heading over to your website. Wondered how the Fusion paint does. Julie, I was thinking you should consider selling gift certificates on your channel. You have such an array of different things now. I would be interested in giving a few friends gift certificates to your website. Who knows, could also increase your subscribers. I also need to go to your description to join your subcribers if there are still openings. That bag was the deal of the month. Wow. Again think about offering gift certificates. Inexpensive shipping cost. Another person visiting your site and could add $$'s to the gift certificate price. Win, win.
@@brendatomlinson I really miss the group. I think somewhere I can join the FB group for $14.99 or is that wrong? I think it would be a good move for Julie to at least do a trial run for the Gift certificates for the Holiday and see if it goes over. On the back of the certificate can have her website, the front could have her logo. I would, however, have a physcal certificate and track it with a number or something. I may be old school, but I like having an actual certificate or card to give to someone. She could print them off in increments. Say, $10, $20, $25, $50. I would then give them to sister in law, friend, niece etc. to shop Julies space for IOD products, paint, or upcycled stuff. Enough babbling. Nice talking Brenda.
Loved the adorable pillows and new products from Morgan. I think these will make great and unique Christmas gifts. So happy to see your business growing Julie!
The pan "spoke" to you. I get it. When a piece speaks to me I have to bring it home! Your stippler brush is used in painting, it evens out glaze. Love, Love, Love the snowman pillows! Now I'm headed to check out your website.
Agree, who prices estate sales, seems way expensive. Hope they sold things? I watched someone paint molds like those as pumpkins, they even used Bundt pans.
That estate sale was fun viewing. I agree that it was a little overpriced. I think it’s a wonderful idea to have your cousins crafts and your friends bathing products on your website!
Coming back to say the "Stippler" brush is for decorative painting-g o o g l e "how to use a Stippling brush in decorative painting." As creative as you are, I'll bet you be using it for that! LoL. I love that brush!
Hi Julie… I knew you were going to say your cousin made those Snowman Pillows… I remember when you had those before and stockings I think….so CUTE ! More Brass Quails ! I have mine out I got from you and looking fabulous for Fall! LOL!!! I got my Silver Tea Pots all polished up yesterday… YES… I polished them because of the beautiful Candlesticks I got from you ….all shinning and gorgeous! Love all the new items ! So exciting !
I went to 4 estate sales on Sunday. I think of you when I see rusty kitchen items…lol One was 60% off and the others were 50% off. I found some fun items to add to my pressed glass collection and some Christmas decorations.
The stipple brush was used for faux wall or furniture finishes. Wow who put the prices on that estate sale??? Need to find the Goodwill bins around my home.
Hi, is there a separate reoccurring fee for the domain vs. monthly/annual use fee? Is the 10% code good on the annual fee if paid at once? Lastly, do you mind sharing which plan you use? 😬🤗🥰
Hi Julie Love❤You!!!!! You helped me To Do It!!!! (Put the bird nest Cloche in the copper bowl!!!! Just a thought!! Squarespace can I use your discount and service in Canada??? Thanks so much. Janis
I have a clear glass bowl just like the white milk glass one. The one that looks like a flower. Every time i look it up, it says theyre depression glass. Idk cause mine seemed in "new" shape. But thats what i find when i search it. Apparently they came in many colors of glass, including just clear.
Is there mould lines on true milk or depression glass. I have seen some haul videos lately of people calling white glass milk glass, but in some I see mould lines where they were poured. ?? I don't know enough to resell glass.
Does anyone know how to ind these Goodwill Bins. I’ve gone online and have no luck. Everything just says Goodwill outlets . I have typed in Goodwill bins near me / Goodwill bins. Etc. Nothing. Am I missing something ?
Goodwill Outlets is the exact name!! Bins has become the shorthand that YT thrifters call it. I have one near me but I find it overwhelming with people trying to get to bins first. I should try it on different days and see if fewer people are there.

That’s what I was thinking but couldn’t remember the name Brasso!

That Tonka Bronco toy car is worth a lot of money!
The straw purse, you could try poking the damaged straw pieces to the inside.
Go from the inside with a knitting needle and pull it through, like we did with sweaters before everything became disposable. 😢 If it has a fabric lining forget my suggestion!
You could swap your lavender basket on the high chair with your new dried lavender wreath. It looked good there while you were holding it up.

Hi Julie, the prices were high. Love what you purchased.
Prices were a little high, but I love estate sales too!❤️
The stippling Brush is for a painting a technique called stippling 🤪
@Julie The Santa mug is Japan (I have had some of these previously and they had the Japan tag on the bottom). Also recently I found a brush that had thick flat wires bristles instead of brush bristles. I said to myself "Julie would get it" so I did! 😊

Great job!
The pillows are darling great for winter and the holliday season. The paint scrubs & the shave bar. Are great gift ideas.
The “feet to something” are Jack hammer tips I think.
Loved the adorable pillows and new products from Morgan. I think these will make great and unique Christmas gifts. So happy to see your business growing Julie!
omg...the Edison Moulds !!!!! If everything was 50% off....there was some serious money to be made on those. Would love a few myself.
Love ALL that you are doing Julie! Great haul from the Estate Sale and The Bins - the Tory Burch - yeah girl!
The pan "spoke" to you. I get it. When a piece speaks to me I have to bring it home! Your stippler brush is used in painting, it evens out glaze. Love, Love, Love the snowman pillows! Now I'm headed to check out your website.

A stippler brush is used to smooth out paint and make a base paint lighter
And when they want to put a texture on the ceiling.
Great haul. Love your energy level.
I went to 4 estate sales on Sunday. I think of you when I see rusty kitchen items…lol One was 60% off and the others were 50% off. I found some fun items to add to my pressed glass collection and some Christmas decorations.
Love your purse from the bins! The estate sale prices were expensive! Good thing it was half off day!
I had to look up what those Edison things were. Interesting!
Prices were a little steep!

You should check out the Melange paint?
The stipple brush was used for faux wall or furniture finishes. Wow who put the prices on that estate sale??? Need to find the Goodwill bins around my home.

Are the milk glass Bowles still available? I LOVE milk glass & have seen pieces passed by.
I have several winking Santas...how much are they worth? I line my kitchen counters with them during the Christmas season.
Hi Julie. Love your new products. Have you ever used gel stain on finished wood and did you like the results ? Thanks.
Love the lamps. We're they Edison record rolls? Sort of precursor to vinyl records.
☹️I would have bought the milk pail...it would have looked perfecto un my kitchen..
Hi Julie, how do you look up estate sales? Is there a app or company you check?
Does anyone know how to ind these Goodwill Bins. I’ve gone online and have no luck. Everything just says Goodwill outlets . I have typed in Goodwill bins near me / Goodwill bins. Etc. Nothing. Am I missing something ?
Goodwill Outlets is the exact name!! Bins has become the shorthand that YT thrifters call it. I have one near me but I find it overwhelming with people trying to get to bins first. I should try it on different days and see if fewer people are there.
The closest one to me is over 5 hours away. I think they are more in the larger towns. It is my vacation goal to town hop GW bins, LOL
The prices were a little high for an estate sale.
Love you and your channel Julie. I have to say though, that I find baby shoes kinda creepy lol
Very cute son!
Blue bottle Phillips milk of magnesia
How much for the chicken Wire cloche?
those prices are high...chances are it was run by a greedy company lolol
Julie, I just added these tiny, Quails to my living room makeover.🤎✨
I Love the brass, she’ll bookends!😍
