Great vid man . I recently got the 2020 cf500 and I love it .only got 50 miles on it in about 5 hours and your vid will help me do this change .much thanks bud
Chances are good tomorrow (my time) that I'll get in line for a 400 for my upcoming hunting club. (Everything is like tomorrow around here right now. Ha.) Probably don't even have one on display, but I've seen enough in the vids etc. 4 wheelers are as hard to get presently as ammo, dadnabbit. I have ridden but never owned so it's ALL new to me. Especially CFM. I REALLY needed your tutorial on changing oil. Doing what I can to smart up some while I wait. Seen a lot of your other vids and a fellow told me on the FB group that you're the goto. I believe it. The manual leaves a lot to be desired for rank beginners, and you gave me the tool info and provided the examples I badly need. Can't thank you enough! Got you stashed in Pocket for reference. Your mainest fan up and over in Alabam, Norm
Your videos are super helpful. I just got a 2021 CFMoto 500 with 200 miles on it and no service work done. Just topped off the coolant and getting ready for the first oil change.
Thanks a lot for your video from Spain, now Icant drive with mi CFmoto 450 by the covid pandemic. But I going to try change the oil with your video. Be careful with the virus and tthanks a lot.
Hello Real Talk after search and watching your Videos i finally bought CF 600 Touring i like it but i have 1 questions when i was buying this dealer told me that i would need to bring it to dealer when it has 20 H on it to do engine volov check or (udjestment) and first service which would be $495.00 is it true to get engine volov check ? Cuz u have 20h complete did u get that done ? Do i or anyone buys CF moto has to have this done? Thanks
That is a rip off.. shops should not charge that much.. And no I NEVER have that done.. all that I would worry about is changing the oil and oil filter at or around the break in mark of 20 hours.
It's probably going to sound weird but I bought a four-wheeler from them a while back and I've been trying to find a place to hunt and ride do any of you guys have any recommendations
No thats something that is recommended in the manual and service departments charge way too much to do that and its qbout 1 out of every 100 that actually might need the valves adjusted a little bit.
Thanks so much Eric.. I will see if i can get a coolant video done one day when i go to the shop and they have a Atv or sxs that needs a coolant change
I've watched a couple of your videos on the cforce 600 oil change but in neither do you clean the oil strainer as the owners manual states. Curious why you don't.
Man i dont believe ive seen a ATV with back up pull start in a few years. But ive might of looked over a few models that may have that feature. But i know my Sportsman didnt have it nor did my buddies canams and these do not have it either. But you will definitely be pleased with the performance compared to your ole faithful Honda 500.
They do not. Solid machines though, some of the plastic bits are cheap (like the broken oil filter plastic cover, think they are all like that, lol, broke mine the first day) other than that the mechanical bits are excellent
@@rickygreer7288 gotcha bro.. I know my sportsman 850 had a spin on. As long as it does what a filter supposed to do then I reckon we will be okay. Sure hope my choice to go cfmoto dont bite me later on. But we will see. The 500 seems to be doing good so far. It's fun to drive. Great trail machine for sure.
No we haven't got after market skid plates.. I've never ran them on anything we have ever had.. never had a need for them. Stock protection has always been enough for us in our riding area and conditions.
Real Talk Powersports Well the stock skid plates are all plastic I already ripped two of them off just riding the trail up north so I figured I’d see if anybody or see if you recommend anything. I have a 2019 CF Moto 500 S model
@@tonymoussa7106 awe man.. do them trails have a lot of rocks? And I honestly cant give you any personal recommendations on skid plates for the CForces since I've never bought them.
Real Talk Powersports Rocks yes but there are not really that many big ones on the trail to hit but when I went through a couple puddles of water and a bunch of Wooded areas I noticed it was dragging so I ripped it off
Good question... and its gonna come down to what your local dealer says. But it is not supposed to void your warranty. As long as you keep the receipts as proof and use the manufacturer's approved oil then it is not supposed to void the warranty. But it's always safe to run that question by the dealer that you would be using in case of warranty work

Great video. Not many people around southern IL no much about this bike. I have a 16 cf moto 800. Helpful video!!! Thanks

Nice video. I just did my Cforce 500 H0 yesterday. I should've watched your video, since I didn't know about the sump filter.
I think you should be fine if you didnt clean your sump.. maybe just check it every other oil change.

Great job with video. Really appreciated the detail.

Thanks for the information.
Great video !

Thank you!
I purchased the 5 year extended warranty, does this meet the standards of CF MOTO as far as maintaining that warranty? If done correctly.
After washing you cf Moto 500 it recommends you lubricate all pivot joints. How do you do this?
Great video do you know what other oil filters will fit on them like a k&n or other brands?

Isn’t there another place you need to change the oil or am I wrong? Manual says there is two diff places on the atv u need to change the oil too..
Hey I just go one and I don’t have a key for it where can I buy an ignition?
Mine is a Cforce 500 eps like the one in the video
Do you have to change front differential oil or is automatically fed?
I was led to believe the first service also included checking valve adjustment? Maybe a 2021 600, 1up is different?

What oil and filter do I use on my cfmoto cforce 500
Thanks for the video, it helped a lot. Just one thing, do you put the new oil in the dipstick hole or somewhere else?
Yes thats right.. put the new oil in the dip stick hole

I like that hat bro! Where is that hunting club?
Man thanks!! Its located in one of the best places on earth. Down in Gods country in south Mississippi
Haha!! Dats Rat!
what oil would you need
Looks like they would have put a spin on filter on those bikes....but prob because of the clearance with the side cover...
Yea they may have a spin on for their 800 twin cylinder engine.. I'll be getting a 600 CFORCE next month and I'll see if it's a spin on or not.

Not according to my dealership. You must ask your dealership that question where you would have your warranty work done.
