John Paxson with the game winning shot. I remember watching that finals like it was yesterday. My mom bought me these when I was in 10th grade back in '93, and fast forward 30 yrs I have them again. They got it right with the red heel tab. The designs and colors on the sole, heel, and inside the shoe was inspired by Hip Hop urban wear culture and pop art back in those days.

If you really see them side by side the 2013 and 07 shape is closer to the 93 the 2023 has its own shape. But with the og specs on color

I picked up the phoenix foams and the phoenix 8’s around that time too. Never wore the phoenix foams and sold them a few months later. They were beautiful

Definitely still wearable as long as the previous owner wore them frequently. I still have my 2013 playoff 8 pair and it doesn’t have any signs of crumbling or giving out. Still durable asf because I’ve worn them frequently.
