Very easy to assemble ruclips.net/user/postUgkxXHNfxr6U9XrHQpsdjUrKNVP231BfS9q9 disassemble and wash. I had a juicer before and remember how much work was to wash it and how little juice I got for this. So, I was sceptical and that's why I did a good amount of research so I don't get disappointed again. So, I picked the Hamilton-Beach 67608A model and I am glad I did. Now, this is a totally different experience! It is powerful and squeezes every ounce of juice so the pulp is almost dry. It's simple and easy to take it apart for washing. I put a plastic bag in the waste container for less cleaning. I am glad I picked this model as it is smaller in size, but delivers the same power as the larger one.

Man, that power juicer infomercial was on TV for years, just like that fucking annoying magic bullet one with the English guy and his American wife serving breakfast for this random group of actors.
There was a power juicer 2 if I recall which had an anti drop thing on it.

Assuming you're going to be juicing 2-3 meals a day, this could do well as a night time juice to replace a meal.
    vegetable curry juice:
    1 small piece of ginger
    1 clove of garlic
1 small chilli (go for a mild variety as uncooked chilli is somewhat hotter than when cooked)
1 small piece of fresh tumeric (be careful not to stain your hands with this)
    small handful of green peas
    1 small aubergine
    1 carrot
    1 bag spinach leaves
    a handful of fresh corriander

Just be careful when you're done with your week of juicing and return to solid food. Going a week without solid foods is a bit traumatic for the digestive system and you'll have to very very VERY carefully start eating solid foods in small quantities only, otherwise you'll get very sick as your body tries to figure out how to digest solid food again properly without making a mess of it. That said, as someone with extensive experience on liquid diets... I would advise anyone AGAINST it for long term. Yes you can lose weight, but long term it can cause tremendous problems for your health too.

Here are some juice recipes Mike:
    1. Ingredients - 4 large carrots, 4 celery stems and their leaves and 1/4 of a red bell pepper. Make Sure to cut off the carrot tops but no need to peel the carrots if they are organic. Don’t juice the seeds or the top of the bell pepper, just the main flesh of the vegetable.
    2. Ingredients - 3 carrots, 1/2 potato, 3 broccoli florettes, 1/2 a beet, 1/4 of a red bell pepper, 1 tomato, 1/2 of a cucumber. A 1″ slice of ginger is optional. Like the first one, make sure to not juice the seeds or the top of the bell pepper.
    and Finally
    3. Ingredients -- 2 beetroot with leaves, 1 celery stick with leaves, trimmed 2 cloves garlic, peeled 2 carrots, tops and bottoms removed.
    Hope These Are Good!

I did a juice thing myself about a year ago and created a really good recipe that I had quite often:
    I call it "Wolf Blood"
    Ingredients:
    1 Whole Red Beet
1 handful frozen or fresh raspberries
    1/2 Red Bell Pepper
    2 Large carrots
    1 Large Kale leaf
The sourness of the raspberries cuts into the earthiness of the beet and carrot. The red pepper balances the residual earthiness with the sweetness of itself and the carrots. In all, it ends up as a diversely flavorful, yet still balanced and mild, drink that is healthy as hell.

+Munashiimaru Yes it contains cyanide but the amount is so little it won't cause any harm unless you're eating a lot of apple seeds. The same thing with apricot pits. It's nearly impossible to make yourself sick by consuming them normally, you would need to concentrate the seeds to really get sick. You see the concentrated chemicals marketed as B17 although it's mostly illegal in the US. They definitely can make you sick.

Yes Mike, I use juicers like that at my retail job, and apple juice is one of the things I make in large amounts. The stuff at the top of the apple juice is the peel and core. When you make a large batch, say 20-30 apples, it forms a heavy foam that we typically ladle off.

    *2 cloves of raw garlic
    *2-3 stalks of celery
    *some lettuce
    *nice handful of cranberries.
Originally we used cranberry juice and I blended the other ingredients with it. Flushed the worms out no problem. Since you're dealing with raw garlic, I'd recommend you chase this concoction of Liquid Salad.

    Russian Ginger Drink: [one glass]
Ingredients: 1 apple, 1 orange (peeled), 1 tsp of honey (mixed in at the end), ginger to you level of taste (I would recommend 1/4 tsp for a single glass).
Preparation: Juice apple and orange and ginger, heat in the microwave till hot, mix in honey, serve!
Normally we'd make this by grating the ingredients in large quantities and boiling them in a pot 2.5 litters but I think the above quantities would work just juicing a single glass serving.

We have one of these, and it works fantastic. My only complaint is that cleaning the internals can be a bit of a pain.
My wife makes me juices with this at least a couple times a week. She focuses more on health than good taste, but they honestly taste pretty good (if not sometimes a bit tart).
One recipe I'd recommend is as follows:
1 part beet (note that I -hate- beets)
    1 part carrot
    2 parts green apple
    1 part kale
Very tart, but my energy levels afterward are always through the roof. And it's supposed to be excellent for containing tons of antioxidants as well.

    Pizza Juice:
    1 slice of bread

Grapefruit and red grapes. Add water and sugar, if its too sour, or the ingredients are low quality. Apple pear mix is good (gotta find decent pears for juicing tho).

We serve it to the students at my school during their morning break and we always sell out. Hope you enjoy it. Here is a hint if you're going to be doing this as meal replacements. Try to always include Apples. There is a dietary fiber in them that tells your body that it's full so it will help make the week go by a lot easier for you. Best of luck Mike.

Not sure if your juice diet is inclusive of smoothies, but I've got a strawberry-watermelon smoothie I like to make. If you're only doing the juice, just throw in watermelon and strawberries. If you're making a smoothie, freeze the watermelon pieces overnight and toss it in with some greek yogurt and some water; strawberry protein powder optional, consider adding banana. I'm allergic to bananas, so I skip that step and go with extra yogurt.

My mom had the power juicer! :D It did work but, she didn't use it that much, because it was hard to clean and juicers take out the fiber thats in the fruit >.< we found using the Ninja blender was best and also provides two servings of a smoothie in one go which the magic bullet and the nutribullet doesn't.
Here is a combination she suggested which was in the booklet, Cucumber, beet, apple, and garlic, good luck Mike!

Here's two recipes I used when I juiced fruits and vegetables:
Fruity Juice: 2 Celery Stalks, 2 Carrots, 1 medium sized Apple. On my juicer, each fruit and vegetable made 4 ounces of juice, making this a 12 ounce drink. The apple is there for taste. Fruits have stronger taste than vegetables, so you'll taste the apple over the celery and carrots.
Green Juice: 2 Celery Stalks, 1 Cucumber (or half a cucumber depending on size), and 4 Leaves of Romaine Lettuce. The leaves on Romaine Lettuce are bigger on the outside and get smaller as you peel them off. Sometimes I would just throw in the entire stalk of lettuce if it was small enough. I use Romaine Lettuce because it's long and slender and fits perfectly into the juicer. For the cucumber, try to get the thick ones as they yield more juice. This recipe should also make around 12 ounces.
I'm not a big fan of pulp, so after juicing everything I would strain it all out so I would have pulp free juice. They say you lose all the fiber by removing the pulp, but I get fiber from peanuts and almonds. When are you starting, I'd be happy to start with you.
