The problem with these missiles is that you can launch it on helipad and you dont even have to lock on and guiding it one by one, so you can literally toss all of them out within 2 minutes then rearm in the time normally you would fire 3 hellfire missiles and you not not vulnerable to sam
The Spikes are not reliable, out of 16 launched, there are 3 hits, one critical and the rest explode in mid-air because they lose their target or change target to a destroyed tank
@@arleysebas742 well, the point isnt to get a kill mostly, if you can fire out 16 missiles in 2 minutes and hit 3 to 5 enemies and disable them, its good enough, cos most missile hit will either kill their breech or engines, plus if you want to be sure, you could launch 2 missiles on 8 targets just to be sure, not to mention you arent vulnerable to sam since you dont need to guide it and stay locked on
yea, this video shows why even though I absolutely love my Tiger UHT, I do not play it as much... I would love it for Gaijin to finally fix these missiles because it's so frustrating to see an enemy completely out in the open and you just are completely unable to lock him
Half and half is the optimal choice. Spikes for aa and light vehicles, hellfire for mbts. They'll still be a little inconsistent but they'll have a better shot

Israel really needs a light vehicle near the top tier. It's last light vehicle is at 7.7 and i feel like they really could add in the Namer IFV or Sabrah light tank and help give Israel something for scouting and they would be something unique.
You need to know the Spike ER is a placeholder missile Israel is actually using different missiles for the Ah-60 is actually using Spike ER2 or Spike NLOS im not sure exactly, while SpikeER2 sounds like a good plan to give some fairness and defense power to take out stuff like the pantsir the ER2 has 15km range and the NLOS around 25-30km.

I normally launch 2 spikes per target since they suck so bad. Also, if i target a tank that i know has APS, I'll dump 4 or 6 at that tank. It's wastful, but i try to make the spawn worth it.

Honestly spike missiles are IMO the best missiles for helicopters besides possibly the Vikhrs. Helicopters in general are just extremely vulnerable so any missile that minimizes your exposure to combat are good IMO. Vkihrs are versatile but to me it's their speed that really makes them good. Unfortunately the AKD10 for Z-10 has got to be by far the worst AGM for any helicopters, it is just comically slow and still requires constant guidance.
It would be nice if they had a mechanic where you can laser guide it or F&F. Would fix it just hitting random parts on the tank and you can pin point the impact location

Maybe you switch your zoom on your mouse whelee if u fly helicopters it did this also for planes, sooo nice for scouting... The Apache has also such as big zoom so its very enoying
I think this heli can be one of the best currently in the game~ Spikes for heli/AA and Hell fires for the tanks and 16 in total and a chin mounted for fixed wings. While Spikes are quite unrelyable when it comes to damage for armor ;-; The main reason this is going to be so strong are for strong and safe options. Other helis only get 4 spikes 4 hell fires or no spikes for AA and can only rely on hell fires thus will never be a safe option. Could this be power creep? 100%
It seems that spikes are good enough, but not great. It also seems you need minimum 2 or more for heavier armor. For light vehicles and air stuff, 1 seems sufficient. Glad I am an Israeli main, things are looking good. Just need a better top tier SPAA.

Funny this is 11.7 whilst the CBT is 11.7. Sure it gets mistrals but you get 8 spikes max with questionable flight performance and a horrible gun since the nerf Also: from experience, its best to double tap with the spikes seeing as how neefed they are. With 16 double tap is perfextly fine

One clip I rage deleted was a pantsir eating 4 spikes and I only broke transmission and popped every wheel.

That would be not fair to SPAAs, while Pantsir can engage spikes mid-air. Every other system will be rekt by the Spike ER2.

I would say the best method would be using Spike-ER for SEAD and using the Hellfire for Anti-Tank.

All the talk of "Balance" doubt it'd miss and do 0 damage on most of the launched missiles if it was a Russian helicopter.
