I've never heard a shinedown song that wasn't good. Lyrical genius, great bassist, great drummer, great guitarist and great singer. These guys deserve far more recognition than they get.
The one thing that Shinedown does exceptionally well, is that all of their songs convey different kinds of sentiment and each have their own perceptive on things...that's when you KNOW you're listening to a GREAT and BRILLIANT band! I just can't get enough of these guys!
im 25 and im happy to see kids half my age listening to a good band. it just gives me hope knowing that some of you have good heads on your shoulders. hopefully theyre still touring when you all turn 18, theyre definately worth seeing.
This guy is one helluva singer... Probably the best new rock singer I have heard in years.... They are an amazing band as well. One song sounds like Chicago and the next sounds like Sabbath... They have a buttload of talent, influences and the skys the limit. They are about 1 hit single away from bustin out in a big way. Good luck Shinedown

I'm glad to say that this song got me into Shinedown and after I heard this song I got hooked into these guys. The one thing that makes me mad is that this is probably their most underrated song, great lyrics amazing band, you can never go wrong with Shinedown.

Omg I can’t find any comment more recent than 5 years ago!!!! Wtf. That’s kinda ironic bc it was in 2016 that I discovered Shinedown ( and Seether). It was the hardest part of my entire life. I had lost my mind. My Mom was dying of cancer right before my eyes. My oldest daughter got taken by CPS. I couldn’t take care of my youngest daughter. I was losing everything. It was just all falling apart. And the thing that was falling apart the most was my own self. Shinedown and Seether saved my life during that time. I wouldn’t be sitting here right now to write this if it weren’t for them and all their brilliant songs like this one. Each one of them touched my soul and gave me a voice for a feeling that I was having that I couldn’t put into words or understand otherwise. It’s been many years since I even thought of either band let alone listened to those very same songs again. But I have begun that journey. And I had forgotten just how special and touching each song is. And I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for saving my life and giving me a voice when evil ppl had taken mine away. ❤️❤️
this song reminds me of my senior yr 05 i used to always have this album in my truck and id always skip it to this song especially at sun set. this song wil always be one of my favs!
I became a fan of Shinedown in 2007 or so when i heard Heroes on the radio one day during the summer. Since then, I never seem to be disappointed in their songs. I'm not sure what it is that sets them apart from others of the same genre.
Shinedown is an amazing band among many other bands like them, I just love this genre of music, I hope it never dies. We need to be more than just underground status guys, if more of those people that were brain washed by mainstream just knew of this music.
