My high score is 78* but I was 13 when I did it. We were playing a 50 over match with so many rain delays it only ended up being 38. It was so annoying, it felt like I couldn’t hit a ball wrong. Also, that guy was definitely chucking it. Love your work Badger, keep it up mate

That being said, played against much more blatant throws that haven't been called, so fair play for actually calling it in a self umpired game. To avoid being so antagonising, I would prob have warned the captain first and explained it from our point of view, don't know if this happened or not.

Club officials (and player umps) are not allowed to do a thing about it so its getting worse as there is no way of stopping it. Personally, I'll be unlikely to give someone out LBW to a chucker and any doubt on snicks definitely goes to the bat. If you miss a straight one that's on you.

I wonder if this is a Cultural thing.....why is it that those of Indian decent seem to be so quick to argue with umpires and become angry when things don't go their way? Over here in NZ over the last 5 or so years we have had massive immigration of Indian people...which is just fine we with and most other Kiwis...but as a result of many of them playing the game, on the Cricket field there are so many arguments or near fisticuffs where this sort of thing rarely happened before, if at all. I am playing a different grade because I got tired of constantly defusing situations. It has turned several older players away from the game also. I don't understand it...Can anyone explain???

We had a player who chucks like this try out for my team this season. I hope he doesn't want to bowl in games because all indications are that he can't.
He got away with plenty of chucks early doors. Clear as day. In fact he probably could’ve been called earlier for the screaming for no reason when he was bowling. The fella who called it has umpired me a few times in NYSD and I think in Middlesbrough Midweek League and has always been fair enough. Good strong call from him.
The problem is players have got away with ‘chucking’ for years, certainly more so in the last 25 years. Now even some international players have actions that 30 years ago would not have been allowed at school cricket level. ICC are too soft on it.

It's also a no ball if the umpire has any sense; much more serious than hitting the stumps (Finn-esk) in terms of batsman distraction.
