The Chicago sports media and the National sports need to stop it with this narrative that we fans are unhappy with CW. We are unhappy with Poles for not having built an O line. We are unhappy with Flus for being a lame duck, in over his head HC, that Poles should have fired last offseason and hired either Harbaugh or Kingsbury as the HC. We are unhappy with Waldron even being here because his offensive philosophy is not right for the personnel on this offense and he doesn't know how to use his personnel. And we're angry that this HC and OC have such little regard or interest in developing and protecting and helping out their rookie qb and they are going to get him killed with no run game. And we're unhappy with the McCaskey's for not having sold this franchise 25 years ago to an owner that knows what he is doing. CW is the absolute least of our worries.
You had me until you said Kingsbury as hc. He's done a good job as oc with Daniel's but i don't want him. Patience. The bears will get it going. They have too much talent. The line will get it together. And they will start putting g together good games! Have faith!!!!
@@ldub8061 I mean they interviewed him, he was obviously one of their legitimate candidates, and he was CW's OC at USC, so you can bet he would be developing him right now, and would be scheming to protect him, and not get him killed, and not have him throw 52 times in a game. What do you know about Waldron that makes you think he is a better play caller than Cliff? Cliff certainly couldn't do any worse than Flus at HC, because Flus has been clearly god awful if you are paying attention and know what you are looking at. Waldron's philosophy is not right for this personnel and he is completely misusing this personnel. He's not a good fit for this team and Flus simply is not a HC in this league. Good DC, horrible HC.
no. as a bears fan I was unhappy with the bears drafting Caleb. I am not disappointed with the season or Caleb at all because I had no expectations. The Bears interior line has been a mess since forever.
Fix the offensive line then we can judge Caleb until then I can't blame him for anything
I’m more and more happy with Caleb and less and less happy with the coaches
Betting on Caleb over Jayden is basically betting that Jayden will get injured this year since if both are healthy Jayden's numbers will dwarf Caleb's.
On Caleb's second INT, if the play was designed by someone with a brain, the other receiver would not have been near the play thus the DB would not have been there to make the pick. The other receiver's route should have turned in taking the DB with him. Coaching matters

Where did the bears end last year in rush offense? Top 5 believe. This is the same line. So is it a scheme thing? You cant tell me they went from a good rush offense to the worst line ive ever seen. They will turn it around
The problem is Williams sucks ass, start Bagent and we'd go 12-5 still. With Williams we'll be lucky to go 2-15.

The media and some fans fell in love with Williams because of his off-script plays. He can still become a great player but the Bears has yet to prove they can leverage talent of different types of QB.
