I do both. I would start with Cricut. It does take some time to learn Design Space, but you can make so many things! I love sublimation too. It is gorgeous, but it is more limited in what you can make. .
I got my 1st Cricut 5-6 years ago. Then my Cricut Maker about 3 years ago. Learning to use both has really taught me about computers and tech. I love the Cricut and weeding was always calming till my vision has worsened. I’m set up to learn sub now. We will see how sub goes but I don’t think I’d ever give up my Cricut! Thx girl❤
If the price don't kill you first lol. It's an investment for sure. It's probably best to upgrade to dtf once get in real well with whatever service you provide
I love my Cricut and I might be late to the party but I like infusible ink. I love all the varieties of things you can do and cut with the Cricut. Love your videos too.
If I remember correctly there's a way to do it on Black shirts but it's not true sublimation. You have to use some other application. If you look up sublimation on dark material on RUclips a bunch of info should come up.
You can sublimate on black if you either use EasySubli which is a type of vinyl that’s uses sublimation ink or you can bleach an area out of the shirt and sublimate on it. The bleaching method does require at least 60 percent polyester.
I am looking for help in another area - I do not have a membership and can not afford it. How do you cut Deco foil toner sheets on Cricut air 2. I have tried to cut them, but it is not hard enough to go through or it tears the paper. Do I put the foil on the toner sheet then cut, or cut then put the foil on after? This is all new to me.
Thank you for the informative video. I definitely will stick with my Cricut overall. I feel like we all have color printers so sublimation is something I can also do, but I love the flexibility of a Cricut.
If I stop what I am doing, I have to stop watching this video.....Oh, the conundrum.
Thoughts like these keep me staring at the same corner of my kitchen for hours on end....

Thank you so much!
Agree - for the home crafter Cricut is the way to go! TY for this video!
What would make my life SO MUCH easier, is if you could sublimate on other colors beaded white or light colors! HATE white clothes. And it is boring.
I love my cricut, and I dont do sublimation as much as I do work with HTV. I very rarely use vinyl though. need more inspo for that lol.
What about Cricut Infusible Ink Sublimation or Sublimation using print then cut on Cricut with things like t-shirt decals?
You cannot sublimate on black shirts ??…I thought that now you could..well I will digest that info…👍

You're welcome!
