- The former northern train station of Stockholm has been a building site the past 10 years and was pretty much all traffic before that. It’s getting better!
All greetings and appreciation for introducing these beautiful places. Thank you
🙏💙
It is interesting, and yes, it certainly does look like a huge improvement. Thank you so much Stockholm Walks! 💛
It will be a rather nice area in a few years is my guess. Glad you enjoyed it!
Great history lesson, you’re right, the area has come a long way. And being so close to Hagaparken and Nora Djurgarden it should be quite popular. Oh, and happy belated Swedish National Day, hope you enjoyed it. 👍🙏🙏👋
Yeah, I think it will be a pretty nice area, even though the houses are a bit closer together than I would have liked. The highways and train tracks are now below ground.
Awesome video my friend , always enjoy your amazing videos , thank you for sharing , have an amazing day ⚘⚘⚘⚘⚘⚘ ❤❤❤❤❤
My pleasure!
City`s are always evolving, and it looks like Stockholm is doing a Great job.... Always your number 1 fan Mrs SW.... I send Love and wishes for a Wonderful Summer for You..... :-))) xxxx
This area would be rather unrecognizable for someone that has been away for a few years. I hope you enjoy the weekend in good spirits my friend!
I really enjoyed your helpful comments and the past/present scenes along Norra Stationsgatan. Thanks again for a great video. 😎
Glad you liked it! It put comments and anecdotes now and then, you’ll find more of those walks in this playlist. ruclips.net/p/PLquhEbgx-gHdvH_wm4lNDDVjLN-Qv990t&si=Pb7TwdtYECmQ4eBx
I agree with the comment below, this place is not at all as bad as some people say. I quite like it. Give it some time and the opinion will change, just as it has done with Gärdet and Sergels torg.
I think the big park will make a big difference!
@@StockholmWalks And I think östra Hagastaden, towards the water, also will be excellent.
Ah, I will have to check that out! Oh, maybe that’s the gravel within fences near Wennergren? Then it looks like it will take a while…
@@StockholmWalks There will be a new school, some other new houses, a type of square and a park which connects to Stallmästaregården and Brunnsviken.
@@user-oj9oy7mi1j I didn’t know that, thank you!
Very well explained with the text at the video and a wonderful walk on top, thank you very much for sharing it with us
Glad you liked it!
Well, the new building look like any city USA. You know boring. But the one park that was open was just beautiful and hope the new opens soon. Thanks for the wave. And yes, I did wave back.
I do think that park is going to make a difference for the area. And hi👋👋👋😉
I really like seeing the city walking down the sidewalk looking at
the buildings and the different kinds of stores and places to eat
it is really nice there especially where you are it is very beautiful
thank you for another great video tour and have a great weekend.
🇸🇪👋🇸🇪
Hope you had a good weekend as well!
@@StockholmWalks Thank You Friend.😇👋
Stockholm Walks shadow is beautiful! )))

Nicely avoided that tuxedo cyclist 👍🚴
This area gets a lot of negative attention but I don't think it's too bad. The parks are coming along nicely to draw attention away from the questionable architecture. I stayed here a couple of times, it's a very quiet place still, the Torsplan Max is usually quiet and empty, and the Hemköp has an impressive buffet. I wonder if it will become much busier once the metro line opens in a year or two.
It’s an improvement, it was really the edge of the city before. I don’t mind the look of the houses, but they are very close together!
Congratulations to ABBA for the Royal Order of Vasa.
I’ll tell them you said congrats!
@@StockholmWalks I'll check...
@@franbric5640 I tried. I was a few months late. You’ll understand soon… currently uploading…
@@StockholmWalks Oh, a suspense! Can't wait!!
