Excited n aq umuwi after 5 yrs new years holiday but i budget din and i sell something n mabalik kht small amount n mgagastos ko. Before sobra aq s pasalubong bgay kong bgay but may nssv p cla. So i learned my lesson tipid din pero mag mag leave ng memories s heart everytime uuwi yung ang the best.😊
100% agree with you. Hindi porke galing abroad ka ikaw lahat sagot sa expenses. 14 years na ako dito sa Canada every time uwi ako parents ko ang ginastusan ko

That's why I don't go home during the Christmas holidays. Mahal ang airfares at daming namamasko it's hard to say no sometimes because pasko daw. I don't bring pasalubong either, because if someone misses out, naku it never ends. No pasalubong, no tsismis. Yung mga kakilala na gusto din magpadala pasalubong for their own families because uuwi ako, my valid reason na to politely refuse.
Wow I admire your resolve! Tama yan. Sometimes we really need to stand our ground (pero siyempre politely) when it comes to our convictions. Maliit na bagay kung tutuusin pero may lasting impact. Sana kahit papaano mabago na ang thinking ng Pinoy. Kanina lang may nameet kaming HS classmate na balikbayan din may kasamang ibang friends.
