😂ooh the dumplings look fantastic. Have been waiting to see some of the fabulous foods my Polish friends speak about. And the pork there must be much better or cooked better than here. I used to have pork at my Mums friends little farm 50 years ago. I have never tasted pork like that since. They emigrated after the war and took up a tiny little farm on the edge of the wilderness and just managed to eek out a small living until they past away. I still have Rosas' rough amber necklace and treasure it greatly.
The food here, even pork same thing but it will taste differently because farmer have so many regulations, animal have to eat specific food, a lot of organic one, also meat processing is totally different. At the end cooking is different. Definitely worth a try!

I don't know how it was long time ago but for now it's everyday food in Poland haha
this is everday Polish food. Polish food is rich in flavor and options as in varieties but these are normal everyday dishes. Maybe the duck dumplings are not widely known or served, but everything else is quite everyday

YUMMMM....I DO MISS PIEROGI.
I USED TO HELP MY MUM MAKE THEM...WITH A SAVOURY MINCE AND VEGETABLE INSIDE.
ONCE MADE WE WOULD BOIL THEM UNTIL COOKED BUT THEN WE FRIED THEM WHICH MADE THE PASTRY CRISPY ON THE OUTSIDE AND SOFT INSIDE....TOOK THEM TO ANOTHER LEVEL with Tomato sauce...

The food looks alright but I'm not so much into pork. The meat your friend took looks a bit like what we have here as well, more chewy on the outside and stuffed on the inside.
