Hi Adam. Again, great video. I just put the O2 plug in and found a simple way. I first just hand threaded the O2 plug in as far as it would go. Then I grabbed a 8mm hex-head socket and placed it on the plug. This provided plenty of space on the 8mm hex-head shaft of the socket to get an 8mm regular open-ended wrench on it. Then I used it to turn the socket and fully tighten. At first, like you, I could not get anything on the O2 plug to tighten and once I too this approach it was simple.
Hi Adam - nice vid! Engine much better in low revs now (on my 2020 Husky 701 Enduro). Unfortunately after about 1500 km I got the yellow engine failure light maybe because of unplausible value of the o2 sensor signal (permanent constant value). No big issue - but do you have an idea (or followers) how to avoid that? Thanks - and keep the rubber side down! 👍
It’s probably not a good idea to do any engine modifications early on in case there’s something wrong that needs a warranty claim that might show up in the first couple hundred of miles so I think it’s good to wait if you’re concerned. I don’t think it will impact break in period though.
The O2 Sensor is basically just dead at this point. you can tie off the other end and leave the sensor in the header. Or you can purchase a bung and fill the hole.
Yeah, I'd say so but in 1st/2nd, it still bucks if you want it too..great for getting over logs which is what I did all day but seriously, I had heard horror stories about the inconsistent fueling and I'm finding the delivery to be super stable. Considering the power commander was $400 and this was $35, I'm very happy.

Thank you Dalton. Great tips!
Strait to the point, that was perfect, thanks!
That’s by design. I know people want to get what they want and get back to riding. I’m glad you enjoyed it.

I don't know unfortunately. You'll probably have to get a scan tool and run it to check for error codes. I'm sorry.
have you tried the bike ? is it really good or not?
Very good. No issues!
Did you install this before the break in period? I’m only at 150 miles and was curious if it would be bad for it this early

Can I use this dong for my 2018 husqvarna 701? Because I saw on the rottweiler site ,I also need to cut the sas system...
I really don't know..I think it's fine but you might have to call up Rottweiler first. I think it was the 2018 and newer model that had the redesign.
You don’t need to take the o2 sensor out with this dongle?

@@AdamChandler86 does it make a difference if it’s left in?
Nope. The O2 Sensor will just hang out there forever doing nothing.
Adam, how does the bike perform before/after the mod? Any noticeable difference?
@@Chris-hj3lci'm interesting too on this point
Did it fix the jerkiness under 5k rpm?
Well, I never rode the bike before I installed this so I have no idea but, I don't have any issues with fueling / throttle so I'm going to say yes :P
@@AdamChandler86 so its smooth in the low revs not bucking and carrying on u der 5k?

@@AdamChandler86 nice literally just ordered mine
Let me know what you think. I’d hate to have steered you in the wrong direction.
