A good movie. Next year I also plan to go to Oman for tuna and GT. Can you tell me what equipment you used? Rods, lines, lures and trebles. What size and weight are the best stickbaits? Gretings 😉
@@janeksorokafishing8678 depends really on your budget but a good Stella or saltiga in the 18-20k class is what you need for gt and can use for tuna I would bring two spools for one reel one with pe10 for gt about 200-300m of line and another spool of pe6 or pe 8 400-500m of line for the tuna as the big ones can run 200m in a matter of seconds as for the rod I would use the same rod if it was casting around 8ft pe8-10 or even 6-10 either a good Shimano rod or saltiga the other custom rods I would say are the best are the zenaq rod there amazing
@@nzigedenmeade9448 Thanks for your reply. We have three sets, Shimano Kaibutsu 200g +Shimano Stella 14000, braid P6, Ripple Fisher 280g with shimano stella 18000 and p8 braid and daiwa saltiga gt86( for stickbait )180g with shimano saragosa 14000 with p6 braid. My reels will accommodate 300m of p6 and p8 braided line. I'm a bit worried about the amount of braid and whether I'll be able to stop the fish 🤔.
@@janeksorokafishing8678 should be alright I’ve caught 80kg tuna on 300m it’s just if they keep on running you might need to chase and for gt it’s more of tug o war
You are right but you have to respect each country you travel to and their customs. There are fishing villages that live from the trade of caught fish. We were hosted and therefore we respect their wishes. The important thing is that they respect the daily quantity that can be fished by law.

Single hooks please and no gaffing. The trebles are destroying these fish. Catch and release. The Yellow Fin is a mighty and noble creature.

Check our other videos and you can see that in other place we do only catch and release even when we cough 28 bluefin tunas.
