yeah i used to have a decent channel were I was averaging 60 viewers, 4chan and 9gag got ahold of so much info like my email. They got my IP by joining my games. If they get your personal info its game over and you have to change everything. I was lucky I got things changed before they started sending packages, some of em can be deadly. And swatting can be as well.

Okay I have one stupid question, but im beginner so yeah... If I set up account on paypal, do I need to add my card info instantly (Im from Europe) , or I can do it later with no problems for eventual donations?

I just set this up for the CC option, but had it on Paypal donations for a while. Does the CC option just automatically go into your paypal account like the "just paypal method" ? does that make sense? if someone pays through their CC.. when streamlabs pays you out, does it automatically go to you paypay, or do you have to go back in stramlabs manually and hit a withdraw button ? - Great video btw!
The Credit Card donations are usually held in Streamlabs iirc, Check your donation history on streamlabs and you should be able to see an amount to withdraw from CC donations

Okay a couple questions, 1. Is it possible if I can set up a debit card instead of paypal, specifically cashapp debit card?
2. Would I have to get a credit card for the business account? If not, how would i deposit the money made on paypal?

2. You do not need a credit card, you can transfer the money out of paypal to your bank's online account

Yup!
For product service i just typed entertainment, and it popped with with bands, orchestras, or other various entertainers. Which sounded a lot closer than radio/tv streams

Could you do one with TTS with donations, so basically when someone donates with a message, tts says the message on stream? :)
It's the same exact process, but just enable the TTS button in the Alert Box settings under donations
Every time i get to the onboarding page where you input the legal entity name, income, product or service etc. it always reloads the page when i click enter and unchecks the income i selected (whether this be "Too early to say" or other options). Why might this be happening?

I got two questions, could i use the Streamlabs donation source for Kick? Like if someone donates will the alert appear in my kick stream? Stupid question i know lol but i'm just making sure.. My other question is, is there REALLY no other option? It's been a thought for a long time but i am afraid of getting hit with chargebacks... I know how stressful that can be and it has put me off from pursuing donations entirely.
1. Yes, but you'll need to simply just the Streamlabs Alert Box for the donations, but only the donations will work from that alert box since kick isn't fully integrated with streamlabs
2. You can check out StreamElements as an alternative since they say they have chargeback protection, but you need at least 100 followers on Twitch to be able to use it which is why I didn't cover it since it excludes almost all new streamers.

Hey! I have a doubt, when you go into account settings>business information and click on update, it shows credit card statement name, one is the Short version which includes my business name, but the long version displays my real name even if i hadnt inputted it. It automatically took my real name in the longer version. Now if I am right, the donors can still see the 'Long' Version on their statements. Just a heads up to people to make sure to change it.

You probably wont see this but i thought of a idea that would be dope. You should do a 50-100 followers tips n tricks/ 100-300/ 300-500 followers tips n tricks . I feel like as we advance on our journey the ideas n tricks should evolve

How much % is Streamlabs tasking off of your donations via paypal or whatever donation link u put in there ?
Streamlabs takes 0%, it's all PayPal fees
if i use a personal paypal account, the donator can see my full name and just that or can they also see my phoine number?

Greetings. I created a business paypal account and linked it to streamlabs, but I have a problem. When someone wants to donate to me via credit card, the message "something went wrong" appears. Please help if you can.
I'd recommend contacting streamlabs chat support since they can check from their end

All PayPal Donations will go to your PayPal account, you can access it from your PayPal Mobile App if you'd like or the website

Just a question cuz I’ve never used this before and I’m only trying to see if I’m able to stream on twitch from time to time cuz idk my boyfriend does it but at least I wanna know does like having a PayPal account transfer all the donations you get to your bank for example I use starling bank (British bank) but yh idk if that’s possible cuz well I’ve never understood PayPal to be this way 😂 I always thought PayPal was just a normal other bank and I don’t wanna have like two accounts or my mum would ask me why I have another bank account
You can transfer the donations you get on your paypal directly to your bank account :D
I have a issue when I I’ve connected my PayPal account it’s not got money in it but on twitch it says I’ve been paid I’ve contacted PayPal about and they said too contact twitch about it but it’s not fair tho cause I’ve done so much hard work on my twitch 😒
If you've gotten subs or bits then you'll be paid by twitch so you'll need to go through their payment options so double check you setup your payment method correctly, if you got a direct donation then it'll be through your paypal

Been following your content lately and I have to say, great work. Your guides are always very helpful and easy to understand! One question though, how does the whole taxes thing work? like how is having a business account being taxed affect my taxes or me as a tax payer? Sorry if thats a confusing questions. Taxes scare me, so i need to know what im getting myself into ;-;
they work like any other source of income that you get taxed on - usually they'll send you a 1099 at the end of the year which you can include in your tax return

Yo boss preciate the fire video🔥helped a ton💯 One quick question tho. I made my business paypal no issues, attacked the link to my twitch but my account got a limitation on it making the link useless when someone try to donate. Any way to fix this?
I'd try and see why you're account got limited, usually they can be temporary
Great video! Although for me once I verified my personal information it showed "We weren't able to approve your application at this time. You can reapply in 90 days from the date of your previous application. In the meantime, you can still use your PayPal Business account to send and receive money." is there something I did wrong ?

they have an optional chargeback protection service you can opt into if you want

I looked up last night if alerts from streamlabs and streamelements worked for kick and I kept finding that they didn’t and that BoxRix is the only one that really works for alerts while streaming to Kick but I’m glad streamlabs works. Hi thanks for the help. If anyone can help. Paypal is asking to complete foreign account tax. When I click to complete the information the page hangs and does nothing but I'm in my account and it's working fine. Is this a bug.

It should let you remove the customer service number if you have a primary number on the account, I'd recommend either just leaving the dummy number or contacting paypal support to see if they can remove it for you
I need some help. I have mine set up the exact same way as you and my viewers get an error message when they try to donate. I have a business PayPal and everything. I don't get it.

hey! so, i followed your steps and then i checked my "business profile" or whatever and there they displayed my full address and my phone number. everything else is just my user name. can people see this information?
According to PayPal, viewers should only be able to see Customer Service information. You can confirm with PayPal support, but that's what I've understood.
So what would you recommend for someone just starting out? Credit Card, Paypal Pro or Paypal Lite, because i just got a donation via paypal lite and i have to wait till like next month to do anything with the money -_-
Usually they'll put your first donation on hold so that's normal. It's really up to you which one you'd like.

I tested my donation process and donated a dollar with my debit card, only 48 cents went into the paypal account. It says 52 cents was held for fees... is this right????
That sounds about right. There's a 30 cent fee per transaction plus like 3% or something close

That's pretty normal for your first donation, usually just wait it out and it should process after a few days or however long

You can use a google chrome app and enable desktop site in the settings
