      @@MadeByHusslove the video. How do you determine the mm(thickness) of the finish chain? Say for instance if I wanted an 22in 8mm chain how do I decide what size links to use? There has to be some type of guide u must follow so your not under/over the desired size. I’m really curious

      @@kdhb95 well I need a 4 mm gap I guess I’m will need a 4mm rod all so I all ways make a sample a couple of inches to see than I can weigh it to work out how much metal I need

    Not so keen on the music chosen , as a suggestion , a nice soft music would go well with all videos ( just my opinion as jewellry making is artistic , used in all cultures) ......Thanks Great videos

    When you pull the wire through the reducer plate, how do you get it started through the next smaller size hole? You can't push it through to get it started can you? Seems like if that were the case, the wire would bend first, thanks.

    Mad skills by the way, at my work we have a large rollin mill we can roll quite a bit larger stuff. Every day there is tantalum, uranium and other exotic metals being rolled, it's got two 20" hydraulic cylinders to apply pressure so you can imagine the separating force at 1000psi it is 314 tons of separating force, it has the capability to go to 4000 psi, I thought your drawing process was good. I would be curious to know how much silver goes into a bracelet

    What solder do you use and flux? Do you dip the rings into a solder fluid after the solder has been made? Also where would you suggest buying silver wire from as I don’t have access to the equipment to melt the silver bars down to create my own wire 😕
    Thanks for the video though it is very straight forward and easy to follow💯

    watched it 20 times still don't understand how it works and how it remains so supple even though you sort of solded everything together . But it looks great . I am not giving you credits for how informative your video is , because it explains nothing to my opinion , but this is not your job to make video so i should expect anything more than a great craftsman creating a great bracelet and that , you surely are and surely did . I would pass an order if you sold those .

      MadeByHuss can you do a detailed tutorial about forming these hollow wires? I can’t offer anything in return except my thanks. Btw, this video gave me some great new ideas already.

      @MadeByHuss  7 лет назад +2

      Easy just use a solid link it's put together the same way I hope I get the time to make a new video about it soon and a little easier way of doing it instead of linking every 6 links together it's every 4 it all depends on the size.

    Hollow chains are absolute garbage jewelry. They break super easily. But the video itself was cool to see the process!

    • @MadeByHuss
      @MadeByHuss  7 лет назад

      Yes that's why I made mine big and it's not as thin as the ones you can buy ready made they break all the time have have to repair them but the point of the video is to show how it's made there for you can all so make it solid

    how they can do this it's very difficult work

  • @dannygreen592
    @dannygreen592 9 месяцев назад

    Notes on the process: Those links are a bit loose, not as loose as the ones on the rope bracelet where you can barely tell that it's a rope but still.
    Also putting a box lock on a rope chain!?? It's a round link, should have been a barrel lock.
    At least you used some good music for the video, unlike most jewelry videos that use generic elevator crap music.
