KMEA 2024 National Anthem

This is becoming a yearly event for me. Since 1987, the students who have made it to the KMEA All-State Chorus have gathered in the atrium of the Hyatt Regency in Downtown Louisville to sing the National Anthem on Wednesday and Thursday nights after their rehearsals have wrapped for the day. Here, we witness over 600 of the finest young voices in the Commonwealth of Kentucky come together organically for an experience that cannot be adequately captured by video or by recording. It's a sound that fills the space completely, and it still gives me the chills every time I go see it.
