- My little sister starting her first full-time job inspired this video... as a big sis and personal finance nerd, I forced her to have a money date / audit with me.
I want her AND you to start building wealth because time is on your side. SO of course, this means knowing what do with that future paycheck you'll be getting. When I started my first job, I had no idea! My first year earning money, I spent it all.

I just adjusted my payroll to put money into my fun savings and emergency savings because I couldn't put it away myself - this way my mind was getting used to the deposited amount starting at the end of this month!

i love manually tracking where my money goes. it motivates me to make my saving and investing rates as high as possible :)
also, i’m currently using ally for my hysa because of the buckets. do you know whether the other hysa platforms that you mentioned offer buckets as well?
