thanks u!!! I love you channel and blog with Violeta Ink and Vanilla arts, its great! I saw various videos from your channel, because I need experiment and try colors, but it's imposible buy 358 haha, I will start 24-and 36 colors, but not set, because it's very important the blending. I love RV30s and RV50, very fresh, delicate and natural colors
Thank you Pablo. Most of us start with a small set and many of us never own all the colors! I probably would not have what I do except for the teaching that I have done!
Love this! Sort out this video after watching you do the greens on the wonderful four leaf clover’s looking forward to additional comparisons and I’m starting my list of things to hop over to buy!
This is so helpful!! I absolutely love these videos. I am new to copic and it is hard to decide what to get. These videos makes it a lot easier. Will there be more? I can’t wait to see the blue greens! 😅🥰🥰 Love from Norway
Thank Lene! There is a playlist with about 5 of the color families done so far. Yellows, yellow reds, reds, greens and yellow greens, you have seen the red violets. I am planning on the blue greens next I think. I need to look at my list. Thanks for watching!
I find this incredibly helpful and look forward to the other parts of this series! 🙂 You made me feel relieved that I chose to get started with the RV1s in my collection. And although this new series just started (and I also just discovered your channel), is there a chance you'll be doing a video on similar copic colors in the future?
So glad this is helpful! I am going to cover each of the color families this year, greens are coming up in March and I will keep working my way through! If there are specific comparisons you are looking for outside of the color families let me know!
So my favorite is a combo of the RV 5's and 6's I actually just colored something with the RV 1's for a DT card and it almost glows in the dark ha ha a little bright for my tastes. I usually use RV 63, RV55, RV66, RV69, I use the RV 52 or something lighter like an RV000 in front of them if I need lighter highlights. I also love the RV32 and RV34 pair much more subtle. Kind of a dusty rose.
This is an awesome idea for a series.. I have used copics for maybe 8-9 years and have them all, so it’s interesting to learn more about the actual colors and how to use them better..
So excited to hear about this! I loved taking the class in Dixon, Ca with you! It was so much fun! Where was this image at? I see the designers name! Thanks so much!
We asked. The response was they truly wanted it to be a gift to those attending. They did not want to add to the collection as a whole. A couple of the colors actually already exist and at least one does not work in the Copic numbering system.
Perfect series for both new and continuing Copic owners. Thank you!

Thanks Katie!
This was very helpful. Other colors would be fun to see, if not already done.
Yay! Glad this was helpful! I am planning on doing one a month, I have the Greens ready to go for March.

So if you were going to color with RV's, what blend would you use? Would your ideal blend be a "non-copic family" blend?

Why won't they make the 30th anniversary colors available?
