I always get so happy when you upload. I tried your mustard tempeh bowl this week and OMG! it was so tasty. I've never use to like tempeh because it looks intimidating but you just changed my whole perspective of it. I still cannot believe how simple it was I just baked a sweet potato and marinated some tempeh for 10 minutes. 😋
I bought the app last week and it is AMAZING! It's not just filled with fantastic, healthy, and fairly quick/easy recipes, but it's given me the building blocks to know what to do for myself. Fo example yesterday we had no lunch prepared and my husband wanted to eat out. I grabbed rice, Mexican bean mix, tofu, spices and some Tamara and made Mexican fried rice. 2 cups rice, 1 can bean mix and 250g tofu made enough for our dinner and our lunch for a family of 4 :-) Thank you for the education!
You have become my favorite RUclipsr, and I am so appreciative of all of the hard work that you put into these videos. I bought date syrup and tamari today for my oatmeal because I was struggling with not ever liking it, and it made a huge difference - totally like caramel! I have to tell you, your recipes have made my WFPB vegan life so much easier. I built my meal plan this week around your videos! Thank you so much for all you do, I think you’re an inspiration. I wish I was doing so well prioritizing health when I was your age!! Oh, and the app? I’ve seen so many others try to do some thing similar but yours is amazing and genuinely useful. It’s amazing and I’m glad to support for your effort!!!
I’ve only been making meals from your app for weeks and I’m obsessed. I love how easy most of them are! It truly makes eating vegan so fun and sustainable.
You have motivated me so much to eat healthier and more plant based food. I swear we have similar taste buds because I love every single recipe. Thank you beuyfor your effort and dedication 🥰
Hi Alexandra, Just wanted to pop in and say Thank You for your content! I went vegan about a year ago, and I really love your specific approach to cooking and eating! I love the fact that you are eating in a non-restrictive way, because I feel that the diet industry and culture has drilled into us that we have to conform to a certain size to basically receive love (our own love or someone elses) I reject that programming, and I fee the freedom of eating the vegan foods that I want until I'm satisfied...I also find your recipes to be so tantalizing- the bowls specifically and smoothies bowls too. Thank you for doing what you do! Love, Teal
Thank you so much for your beautiful comment! I couldn't agree more. Food are fuel and our bodies just wants to be nourished. Thank you for watching my videos and I'm so happy you enjoy the app ❤️
I absolutely LOVE your recipes, and I love watching your videos! You live in such a beautiful area. Next year I will be visiting my friend I have known since I was 6 years old. She lives in Madrid, and I live in northern Vermont, USA . I am looking forward to my trip to Spain.
Hi from Oregon!🤗 The fresh mango salsa/tofu bowl is on my meal prep today! Do you squeeze the tofu before marinating it? Also the blondies recipe is one of my favorites, you nailed that one!
@@AlexandraAndersson it was fantastic! Didn't have any avo though so I used beet root instead. I am full, but not too full and enjoyed a delicious rainbow 😍 need to make tofu in the oven more often 😋
Always so inspiring, as well as motivating, thank you...come back soon! Hope you're surviving the heat ok...and there are no devastating fires near you.
That restaurant you went to Lime and Lemon, those tapas looked so good. You should try to recreate that hummus and that potatoe avocado dish at 8:06. I would love to see those in the app! But all meals looked amazing!! Do you plan your meals every week? I need to do more of that. Been wanting to try those blondies, look so good too!!
See what you already have at home, and plan around that and meals according to how much time you have during the week. Maybe you can prep some in advance :) Thank you ❤️
I think you are so amazing you a such a big inspiration to me I absolutely love all your recipes and you are such a beautiful person. You are my favorite person I follow on utube and instagram thank you I really want to try your chickpea blondies could you please tell me the size of the glass bakeware you used thank you.
♥️Here begins the time of happiness Your videos really don't get tired of it It makes us start the day with a positive and happy energy We all appreciate your hard work and wish you happiness and fulfillment of your wishes 😍💖💖🥰🍓♥️♥️
Places in Malaga I've been to: mimo, buns & coffee, la vegana. Want to try Fonzo and meet vegano :) Also if she's in IKEA they have vegan hot dogs and vegan meatballs
I think to take any vit or suplements with coffe isnt great option. I do always wait at least hour. Even i do nit like it :) As coffe affect the vit etc to dissolve proper if i am not wrong 🤪
Isn’t coconut milk bad for your body because it has so much saturated fats? Love love your app. So easy to use now that I have the hang of it. I like that the recipe stays up on my phone and I don’t have to keep reconnecting. Your recipes make plant based eating so yummie.
@@AlexandraAndersson is there any other thing I could use beside the coconut milk that would still make creamy texture? I am 72 and need to watch my saturated fats.
@@cathyvaal4625 you could blend up soaked cashews with water, like 1/2 cup cashews + 1 cup water (in a high speed blender). Then add in little at the time into the simmering broth and it will thicken up. Won’t taste the same but I think it would be ok :)
Yeah the cans are in transition right now (still in grams) because on most cans even in the US it's written in grams as well. Would you rather have it in cups or oz?
As someone who is in recovery from eating disorders, I can say that vegan and non-restrictive can’t go together. The very nature of a vegan diet is that it is highly restrictive. An oil-free plant based diet is about as restrictive as a diet can get. That said, I enjoy the recipe inspiration.
I disagree. When you eat vegan you don't eat meat and dairy products which you can easily find alternatives for. I eat all your FEAR foods. Also not all vegan eats all free. It's a choice if you do or not depending on your personal situation/condition. You can clearly see that she is not avoiding oil. yes she doesn't cook with it at home but she is not afraid to go out and enjoy vegan food that is cooked with oil and also eat vegan "junk". I know sooo many people with ED whose veganism saved their life.
For me the idea of being “restrictive” is about counting calories, weighing food, only eating at certain times of the day or avoiding certain foods because you’re worried about gaining weight or health issues. For me veganism is about respect for animals not so much a diet. Think if you lived in a country where eating cats and dog were common, but you chose to avoid that for ethical reasons, it probably wouldn’t be too difficult and you wouldn’t feel like you were restricting yourself. I think that feeling of restriction plays a big part in whether your eating habits become more disordered.
Vegan just means one who abstains from eating animals and using their products due to ethical reasons not for health reasons. There are vegan versions of everything you can think of. There are many ways to eat and live vegan with so much that is available to us. Abstaining from eating animals for moral reasons and abstaining from nourishing your body are two very separate things that shouldn't be conflated. You may have a negative and incorrect perception of what veganism really is. The best thing we can do on this planet (especially now) is live our best lives and let others live theirs.
I understand your thinking in this. However, I can only speak for myself.. to be vegan is not a restriction to me, it is my lifestyle choice since many years back, and that choice is grounded in ethical reasons. For someone that is not vegan or don't want to be, I can understand that it may seem restrictive to them. To me, food restriction is counting calories to the point that you can't enjoy life or avoiding foods that you are afraid of

I'm making my oats with water now with a splash of oat milk. Also, I had no idea you could use nibs instead of chocolate chips. I'm so silly 😉
Haha yes sure you can but they won't melt :)

What’s the amount of chickpeas in cups ?
I don't know, but 230g drained chickpeas is roughly a 15 oz can, drained chickpeas. And 115g is a half can :)
At last
I got your app but it would be so much better if you can try to use CUPS “ vs Gr… plzzz
